Where do I begin? This company was amazing and affordable we were looking for a reliable contractor to erect a wood fence for us and we located Sereno Custom Wood & Gates. I wanted something different from the usual block gray wall everyone has. So I hired this business and from start to finish everything was a breeze. Extremely knowledgeable and punctual they arrived on time and my fence was up in 2 days flat! Juan also goes out of his way to assist his customers I'm disabled and he picked up a few panels we were short on because we had ordered some of the wrong materials due to another contractor dropping the ball on us and abandoning the job. These guys are PREDATORY SCAMMERS. We wanted to move the chain link gate and just add a 7' long segment of 30" high chain link (rather than moving the old segment attached to the gate). They quoted me $1,500. And said it would take all day We did the math and researched common prices for chain link. -- they were basically charging more than $160/linear foot to add a 7' short segment and put in a post. I tried to make the appt for the next day, but was talked into a same day appt. 1.5 hrs of waiting with no call at the moment. What a waste of my time! I called again and the guy who answered told me to text pics again, which I received no response again! I like that he was able to be to us within 24 hours and that he was open to suggestions on how to complete the project.. a rare thing in the "know it all" contractor world. I scheduled an appointment for a fence quote on the weekend of (12/18). I made the appointment for Tuesday (12/21) at 0900. I got a few emails the morning of, saying our appt was still on at 9. Then, I got an email stating they were trying to reschedule for another day. Then another email stating my appt had been removed from their schedule. They gave no reason. Just expected that I would be okay with them changing the date and time without first discussing with me, the potential customer. Extremely unprofessional. Reading other reviews, this clearly isn't the first time this has happened. Certainly won't be wasting anymore time with this company, and thankfully won't be giving them any of my money either. read more

Horrible! Horrible! I found a listing for them on Craigslist and was directed to their website. I needed some fencing done on my property so I decided to use the appointment scheduler on his website to set up an appointment for a free estimate. The other estimate I had, from another company, was in the 5,000.00 price range to add another pen and some more 3 rail galvanized fencing to what I already had in place. I set the appointment up for Thursday at 6:30pm. As soon as I clicked on the button to confirm the appointment, I received an email telling me, "Thank you, your appointment has been successfully scheduled". Great.... I looked forward to having him come out and give me a quote so I could decide who I was going to use for my fence project. Thursday comes and I leave work a little early so I would be their in time. At about 7:00pm, and no sign or word from Sereno Custom Fence, I call him and leave a message. About 15 minutes later Mr. Sereno calls me and tells me that he had no record of any appointment for Thursday.... Grrr! He then said that he could come out on Sunday to give me the estimate.... I hesitantly agreed to give him another chance and told him that 9:00am would work for me. I asked him if he needed my address and he said no, that he already had it! How would he have my address if the appointment scheduler did not work?! He got my address but not my appointment time or day?? Regardless, I bit my tongue and tried to move past that. However, it is now 4:30 on Sunday afternoon and I have not seen or heard from anyone from Sereno Custom Fence company. No one showed up for the 9:00am appointment and no one has bothered to call me back after I left a message for them at about 10:30am reminding them about our 9:00am appointment! What the heck is wrong with this company??? I had work that needed to be done that is in the 5000.00 range with more in the near future to complete all the fencing that I was going to need. I am not sure why they keep making appointments with me and keep not showing up or even calling to tell me to F%@# off. They will NEVER get my money and I will be very sure to let all of my neighbors know of the horrible business practices of Sereno Custom Fence! read more

Had them come out for an estimate, which they rescheduled once, no big deal. Once he came and took measurements he said someone from the office would call with the prices and they never did. That was over a month ago. If they cannot handle an estimate it would worry me about them doing the actual job. The only reason I gave two stars is the guy who came out was friendly and listened to my request. read more

They did everything from running the electrical, to welding, to building and installing the gate. They were very meticulous in their work and didn't leave any mess behind. Very impressed with this company. They gave us an estimate on Friday and the gate was built and installed by Sunday, including cement column. The workers were very polite and worked very hard. The gate itself was exactly what we wanted, he did all the work he said he would do included taking down the old makeshift gate/mess that was up there.
