I love everything about these cars: safety, comfort, looks, sound system, road handling. But if you read this, be warned: the Lexus NX 350 has been re-designed and the hatch lid does not come up as high as in the previous model. It's dangerous! if you're even close to being tall, you have to bend over to get anything in or out of the hatch without hitting your head. I wish we had been warned about the change because at 6', this hatch is hazardous for me after years of not having to worry about emptying or filling the hatch. From the moment I walked in I knew this was the place to do business. I was instantly greeted & offered something to drink. I have always been afraid of working with car salesman because I have heard so many horror stories. I was terrified going in but within a short period of time I realized this wasn't so bad after all. They quickly pulled up the vehicle I was interested in and while I got to test drive it they looked at my vehicle I was trading in. When I got back we talked for a bit and then we went over numbers. I was expecting them to have the car I was looking at right at sticker and lowball me on my trade. Boy was I completely wrong. They had the new car discounted & gave me a better offer on my trade than I expected. After a little negotiation they gave me exactly what I wanted for my vehicle. I have had to take my Lexus 2 times for routine maintenance checks and the first time Mike was nothing but helpful. He made sure I was taken care of and was super patient and answered all my questions. The second time I went, Alexis was my representative and she was just as great! Again she answered all my question, she gave me multiple choices when I needed a part changed, and went above and beyond to help me save money when possible. Although I dealt with a professional and courteous salesperson, I left knowing I would not be back to buy a new or used car from SERRA. I went to look at a used car for my daughter. I did my homework, as I always do when car shopping, and although I brought printed out values from Edmunds and KBB which showed the vehicle was overpriced for its condition (needed 4 new tires, had irreparable scratches on front bumper) the dealership was unwilling to negotiate with their price. Their listed Best Price was even higher than the Edmunds and KBB value if it had been in mint condition. Although their website says, "One Price Promise - Only One Price - The Best Price - No Negotiation Necessary" I would say the "Best Price" part is not believable. Just wanted to put this out there so no unsuspecting shopper goes in there to look at a used car and believes they're getting the best price. read more

Went today to look at a Lexus truck and was told I should look at a Toyota by the Asian man working there and I was insulted, im black and felt like I wasn't properly greeted nor assisted. I walked to the location from discount tire to view a truck and the salesman seen me walk over I'm assuming he thought I had no car and couldn't afford one and was just coming to look. I then got another salesman to show me the truck I wanted to see but he didn't even offer to open the door and let me see in he simply walked me over to the truck. The whole vibe was off and I wanted to have a pretty women moment and let them know I was purchasing in cash but they didn't deserve it and I will going to get another cadiallic and sticking with a company who appreciates my business. This store should probably send employees through diversity and inclusion training because the way I was left feeling was unfair and now leave a bad stain on the Lexus brand in my eyes. Took our Lexus Gx in for a recall (the dash board). When I picked up the vehicle I noticed that my wood trim was broken and glued back together. The steering wheel and shifter had some sticky residue on it (maybe The glue?) but I don't know for sure. I called Lexus and complained that it was broken. The manager said he doesn't think they broke it but would see if he can find a replacement. Months flew by and I reached back out to the manager and he told me that you can not replace just one piece of trim and that the whole interior would need to be replaced costing thousands of dollars. I said go ahead and replace all of it since they damaged it. The manger said they wouldn't replace it but offered me $50 off of my next service. Told the manager to keep his $50 bucks and never took any of my Lexus vehicles back!! read more

Lexus of Lansing is not recommended as we were offered a ceramic coat and scotch guard of the inside, it took a total of 15-20 min which when we took the car and stopped for gas noticed they oversprayed the car inside so I sent them the pictures and Lexus of Lansing and they admitted they made the mistake and said since they were so far away they would have us go to Lexus of orland to fix it. Mind you this is a brand new car Lexus sends it out and it comes back with swirls and scratches all over the car. I go in to show the after market sales man who send the car in and he said we will get this fixed for you. At that moment he gets called to finance office and comes back and says Chris says you didn't buy if here so we can't do anything for you. I just stood there stunned as he sent it out as the Lansing dealer charged me 1278.54 for a ceramic coat and did not do it so Orland was supposed to fix it and destroyed it completely as some of the scratches are so deep they can not get them out and to me spending this kind of money and now I feel so discouraged I talked with Chris k and said he would take it to his body shop but with all this I don't trust sending it out again. After talking to Chris again he told us we are on our own. You never buy a car and expect it to have scratches and swirls everywhere. Lexus of Orland says we think that happened at Lexus of Lansing . Actually the inside was done by Lansing the outside was ruined by Lexus of Orland as I have pictures . I feel for the aggravation and all this needs to be rectified. This is awful buying a new car and having this Koch aggravation when we wrote Lexus of Orland Tony Deck and Nick do not answer when I write them and let them know of the RUINED car. Lansing Lexus and Orland Lexus has let us down and would not recommend! read more
