I moved so I switched my primary to this location recently then I realized they had dental too. I've been here several times, even for vision. Sometimes they were not easy to get a hold of but the service is impeccable. I never wait long and everyone is friendly and thorough. I went yesterday for my teeth cleaning and it was literally the most gentle cleaning I've ever had. My appointment was at 9:15 and I was on the road by 10am not to mention how clean and white my teeth are. It's the best cleaning I've ever had. Come here for your average health checkups and occasional dental work. My family rarely had issues but if you're diabetic please beware going for dental work. This dentist knowing her (my moms) medical history used way too much numbing injection to the point her blood sugar dropped dangerously low and she had to be taken out in an ambulance. I brought a family member in for the first time this weekend to see Dr. Long Tam and wow, what an experience! We were initially set to be seen in 2 weeks, but I decided to call on Friday before the labor day holiday to see if there were any cancellations so we could be moved up. The staff advised they were currently in process of verifying appointments and they could add us to the waitlist in the event something opened up. Within 5 minutes, we received a call back with an opening for the following day. WOW! We really appreciated this and went to see Dr. Tam. The staff in general was really kind and very, very welcoming. Dr. Tam is an absolute joy to have been seen by. He was very, very attentive to the needs of my family member and ordered the necessary labs to ensure we could address the health problems we were trying to tackle. Don't waste your time coming here! Over an hour of my time spent here with the PA and never met the doctor! Been to plenty of clinics, and this is the first clinic that I walk into that doesn't do a standard urine test especially for a new client. From when I first walked in the paperwork I filled out was never collected. I also spent about 25-30 minutes explaining my concerns to the PA and I felt like she dismissed my concerns and wasn't properly addressing them. I made this appointment to address 3 concerns, and 40 min into the appointment she states that I would've have to make another appointment to address the other 2 concerns. IF YOU HAVE MEDI-CAL/ OPTIMA PLEASE AVOID AND SAVE YOUR TIME. The PA stated the doctor recommended to breathe in and out and drink water to suppress any cravings! Lmao. read more

Dental!! English y Español. Mauricio, Cardenas is Unethical, disgusting and has absolutely ZERO concern for patient health!!! I *wintnessed* him bouncing from one patient to another, USING THE SAME GLOVES AND NOT WASHING HIS HANDS, NOR SWAPPING OUT HIS *CONTAMINATED* GLOVES. I was in such disbelief...I didn't say anything because I already had Etremely high anxiety (from previous medical issues) and I was feeling ill-both from what I just witnessed and from a previous illness. At this very moment, March 2025, I am *highly contagious*: I have just been diagnosed w/ helicobacter Pylory (H. Pylori) and this bacteria is contagious through SALIVA and fecal matter. Meaning, the other 4 patients (plus any others that came in because this was @9 am) that were in the clinic, that Cardenas saw after and during, have most likely been contaminated with what I have and not to mention, what the other patients have as well. This is extremely disgusting and unethical. If you don't like your job and don't want to help the people, step the hell down. SHAME ON YOU CARDENAS. To Add: I also witnessed a tech (maybe). She was working on the Pt nxt to me...She was attempting to plug a cord and was having diffuculty doing so. The patient was on the chair, laying down and she was reaching over his foot, and apparently it was in the way, so she was using one hand to try to plug cord that was on the floor and her other hand, *with gloves* was resting on the patients BOTTOM OF THE FOOT, as she was doing this. After a good minute or two of this, she went back to the patients mouth WITH THE SAME DIRTY GLOVES THAT WERE ON THE FLOOR AND ON PATIENTS DIRTY FOOT. AVOID THIS DENTAL PLACE IF YOU CAN. I understand this is a low income clinic (and I'm almost certain that's why these people get away with this crap) and if you're unable to go elsewhere, *make sure* you're watching these people like a Hawk. Make them change their gloves in front of you (AS THEY FREAKING SHOULD BE DOING). Never allow Healthcare staff to intimidate you w/their toddler-tantrum when you have them wash their hands. Called to set up appointment for my kids. It over way over an hour to set up 3 appointment with them but I figured ok the appointments are set & we're good. Oh boy was I wrong! We got there an hour early for the appointment by accident and they said we'll see if you can be seen sooner. We sat down & waited and waited and waited even heard a guy say I'm here 10 minutes early for my appointment which was at the same time as ours and hey if they can see us earlier cool if not no worries because we were really early. The appointment time rolls around and still nothing though. Figured I'll give them a few minutes. I go up to the window and ask how much longer & they tell me there's only one person ahead of us. Guy who showed up way after us but still early for his appointment gets taken in before us. After over 20 minutes past our appointment time I say enough is enough. I go up to the window & tell them to cancel my appointment. They asked me if I wanted to reschedule & not gonna lie I was pretty pissed but declined and left. read more

What an outstanding community service this optometrist clinic is. I always receive such professional treatment from everybody here starting with Marilyn (Spanish bilingual) at reception to the doctors and technicians. Although this is a busy optometrist's office, I've noticed over five years of visits that they are courteous and professional with all patients. Their equipment appears very up to date and their service is excellent. The clinic operates on a sliding scale to assist low income patients. Highly recommended. read more

i cant believe how screwed up this place is. i had an appointment on the day after daylight savings and i it was pouring rain, i called letting them know i would be ten minutes late and then when i arrived, they said they would have to reschedule me for some other time because whoever was going to see me had left, i have not been treated for my chronic diabetes and my blood sugar was 600. i wasted all my gas driving from fullerton for nothing and i was pissed- you wont be rescheduling me to see anyone of your staff who have zero since of urgency or care one iota about serving anyone. I had a horrible health issue happen in December and noticed my primary doctor switched me to this place. I was not at all interested because of the name and location. I even tried to get it switched to another place, but after many days and phone calls, this was the soonest place I could go to with out having to wait for my insurance to clear somewhere else before the month was over. I got in on a cancellation but unfortunately the doctor that got the cancellation was not seeing new patients but was explained my very serious situation, and she agreed to take me in, Soooo I went ahead and very reluctantly, I made the appointment at Serve the people. But To my surprise I met the absolutely wonderful dr Christina Reyes who not only took my health seriously but also was very caring in doing so! I literally walked in thinking I was just taking this appt here so that I could get my referral and then switch primary care doctors BUT infact I am HAPPILY staying right with dr Reyes! I'm so thankful I went in that first appointment! I noticed a few reviews talking about being late, I really had no problem but I'm never late, I show up 10 mins early for anything I do so I never had any probs with that. I've liked all the staff I've came across so far and had no problems with referrals or receiving info. They have even went over and beyond getting me approved for my little blood pressure monitor that would've costed me around $70. I really can't see why their reviews are not better. But I'm very pleased with my doctor! Big thanks to her!!!! read more

I've recently was a patient of record but I changed provider due to poor communication skills by the front staff and having good work ethics when it comes to filling out disability papers. I had filled for disability on line like you suppose to do when your assigned to garden Grove disability office and instead of communicating with me that on the medical provider end had never updated his account to do it on line. It's coming on three weeks and still haven't done his part. (Scott McQueen). So I'm behind on every bill you can think of because of their lack of communication with the patients. Another thing....instead of him updating his account with disability they had the audacity of telling me to bring paperwork when I've already done it on line. read more

My dad went without insurance and although the co-pays to do all the exams was a bit high. It was so great to have somebody attend my dad. He had no insurance and they treated him with kindness. Dr. Victoria, forgot her last name, was wonderful! They have everything their dental, vision and health. It's perfect for him he hates going to different offices. Honestly everyone there was so accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend! If I didn't have to go through Kaiser I would switch everything to this office. read more

I wish there were a -5 to choose from. these people are horrible! when I came there I was told that I must do only as im told or they would Never Help me. I was told I had to make them my primary doc in order to go on suboxen therapy. I asked if the doc could handle the 3 complex issues I was dealing with. a rare blood platelet issue, opioid addiction and many pains and symptoms that were most probably from childhood abuse I suffered. I felt strongly that 1 doc could never handle it. especially because I had 4 docs at the time that couldn't handle it. not only have they screwed up my sobriety 3 times and blamed me ( felt very much like cops) but I was in horrible pain most of the time I was with these jerks. like most medical outlets covid has taken its toll. things have changed or been exposed or a combo but in my experience health care workers have abandoned their oath and begun to treat those poorer than them very much like cops do. unreasonably and dismissive, flat out rude and at times of complaint they do not hesitate to claim the patient is a liar when they screw things up. I don't know what this was but it's now a horrible place that has fumbled my care and dental care so badly that it's brought me to the edge some days. I consider myself a strong person that keeps myself educated about my issues. I'm sad for those who can't even speak English that go there. I'm certain they have been harmed just as I have been. run to any other outlet for care. this one will kill you. read more
