These guys need to clean up their interface. When I want to order dinner, I don't want to click through a bunch of things only to find out: "For same day dinner, order before 7pm." Or to then click a bunch of other things at 6:48pm only to find out, buried somewhere: "Dinner functionality is not available yet." Furthermore, please make things easy to navigate on my iPhone. Wouldn't you expect something like 90% of your users to order via a mobile device? Isn't that your target audience? Guys. It's not that hard. They really need to stop sending emails. One email a week is fine, but when they start sending 3 or 4, it gets annoying. I ordered for lunch in New York (Gramercy/Flatiron area) and chose a delivery window of 12:30 to 1. The delivery guy actually arrived early around 12:20. I chose the 12:30 slot because I was in a meeting at noon. Luckily, it ended early and I was able to jet downstairs for my delivery, but that could've ended badly. I unsubscribed from their emails and look forward to seeing the rest of their restaurant offerings though. I do like that you don't have to worry about tipping though. ------------------------------- Second time ordering from Stadium, and they screwed up the address on my delivery receipt, which makes absolutely no sense because they had previously delivered to me already. Instead of "Park Ave S", my address was now listed as "Park Ave", so the delivery guy went all the way to Midtown and called wondering where I was (he was already 10 minutes late at this point, but understandably so). I ended up getting my food an hour later than the delivery window I originally ordered it for, and customer service gave me a partial refund after some sternly worded emails. So, I decided to try them out today and convinced my coworker to get in on it as well. I placed an for two Chef's choice chirashi bowls for 6-7. Sure enough the delivery came a little before 6:30 in my building's lobby and I speedily and hungrily went back up. The chirashi was a little underwhelming, especially from how the picture made it look. The fish was hard to find and the bowl was pretty small. I thought overall it tasted pretty good but just not worth the price. Honestly, my gripes are mostly with the restaurant and the portion size there; although it makes me a little hesitant to order based of photos alone-who knew pictures on the internet are different than in real life? Overall though, I'm pretty happy with the service and I'll probably order again. read more

Used EatArcade for Oxido 3/10/16 and their confirmation email lacks any details besides amount charged (no item ordered, no ETA), so I had to email them asking about the order to get a ONE-HOUR timeslot. They replied it'd be 1-2pm due to high volumes, which contradicted the simple description on their site of 'Lunch arrives by 1pm'. There's also no SMS logic to handle replies other than what they demand you ask, so you need to email for help. read more

I love this! I requested an invitation on their website (they're doing a full launch in August) and have been able to order from them twice already. I love the selection of restaurants - I was able to get delivery from Junoon and Han Dynasty in the same order (and both really hot when arrived!) There's no tip or delivery fee which is great because the prices I see are the prices I pay. They also keep adding new places - Rhong Tiam and Eileen's Cheesecake just joined the mix. I'm really enjoying the experience so far, this is a refreshing - and welcome spin on traditional food delivery services. Decided to try a new service other than seamless as they can be annoying at times. Stadium's site was a nice change, had nice photographs of the dishes which subliminally made me hungrier rather than a long list of text. I like the no hassle idea of no delivery or tips. First time ordering from them and I'm thrilled (We ordered lunch). The selection is great and the restaurant are some that I love! We ordered from two different restaurants- one in Chelsea and on in NoLita...both plates came 1) on time and 2) HOT! I don't know how they do that, but it's a wonderful service with a fantastic variety of food to choose from...this is our first our, but most definitely will not be our last- can't wait to order again! Have been consistently impressed with Stadium's service. They offer lots of options from high-quality restaurants and somehow manage not to charge a delivery or service fee. After 5+ deliveries, they have been consistently on time and the food has been fresh. They are always adding new food options, and I like how you can pick and choose from different restaurants. I started using Stadium last February and have used it consistently to order lunch at work since. I'm sad to report that things have been slipping downhill and I think my coworkers and I will now move onto other options. Tip used to be included, then delivery people started waiting for tips and I realized "no tips" was no longer a tagline, just "no delivery fee". So, fellow "Stadiumites", it looks like we are supposed to tip. I honestly wish this change had been communicated, so I didn't unintentionally short people. That said, if you are going to expect a tip, it would be nice to have this option while checking out, rather than having small bills on hand. At this point, Seamless seems easier. The straw that broke the camel's back was 3 late orders in a row. Oftentimes by 20+ minutes. That just makes it hard to schedule, especially when there is already a 30 minute delivery window. read more

Food came perfectly on time, in fact it was due between 12:45 and 1:15 and came at 1! So that's nice. However i ordered two cookies from a bakery and some pasta from a place in Nolita. The pasta which was just a red sauce (the photo made it look like a hearty tomatoe sauce) was $12, and kind of on the small side for just being a regular, thin red sauce. Sadly only one of my cookies came. I'm waiting for their "concierge" to get back to me on that, but they seem reasonably quick to respond. That said they should probably hire smarter people to do the responding, as I emailed the concierge yesterday with several questions which they mostly ignored. They simply responded to one questions, and confirmed that I'd ordered lunch. That's nice. I knew that. However... if you pick all the food you want for your meal, then realized you've picked for dinner and you meant to be picking for lunch... you have to go back 100% through the process to select for lunch. Delivery was on time and food was warm. I'm giving them 1 star due to their poor customer service and fraudulent referral system. They have this faux personal link that is "generated" just for you. If you share via FB or twitter and have others use "your" link, you will NOT get credit. Strangely, Stadium expects YOU to state exactly who used your link. If you do not proactively provide them with the names of those that used your link and make the $10 minimum purchase, you will NOT get anything at all. I marketed my referral link to a ton of various friends, distribution lists, etc. Several friends notified me they signed up and were happy with their orders (all above $10). The past few weeks have been SO PAINFUL, going back and forth with customer service trying to get credit. I provided them names, but not all names because they should be able to see who signed up under my link and what purchases were made from their system, right? Nope. I still have to provide all names if I want credit. This goes against the very core of a referral link program. If you forward this to all your friends, do they really expect you to go back after a few weeks and ask them all "Hey, did you sign up under my referral link and spend $10? If so, let me know because now I have to email them your name to get the $5 credit." Where does it state that I have to provide the names of those that have used my referral link? This makes no business sense at all. What's the point of a personalized referral link if their system does NOT track? To dupe people into promoting for them? Sketchy. Don't get me wrong. The service and delivery was spot on time. My issue with them is that they're shady and lack integrity. Do NOT do business with these dishonest schemers taking advantage of viral marketing. I usually only use this yelp account to make fake reviews for crappy chinese restaurants in my neighborhood. So here's the deal: My girlfriend ordered something from stadium for me to 'test' it out. Being the human male that I am, I could not outright deny the offer of free sustenance. What I did not expect was that, instead of getting a phonecall from an angry portuguese delivery man yelling "DELIVERY!!!" until I submitted to his will, I instead received a really really sexy bag from a very polite gentleman who's name escapes me........because food. When I opened this bag up, there was a cone shaped.....thingie with a box of water. Now listen here. I'm from Texas. I'm a simple man. I don't drink my water out of boxes. But what the hell, when in rome. The cone shaped 'thingie' ended up being a crepe filled with some magical japanese ingredients as well as some very fresh shrimp. All in all it was pretty incredible. They responded to my email within minutes with a phone call, an apology, and a promise to send over the missing item within 10 minutes. I've been having Birch coffee growlers delivered weekly for the past few months and I'm all in on Stadium. The delivery guys are always pleasant and on time with their weekly deliveries. I've mostly corresponded with Shahida and the customer service has been exceptional. On a few occasions I've had to reschedule deliveries, update payment info, etc. and Stadium responded swiftly to make the process effortless. In addition to the growlers, group orders make ordering lunch for the office a breeze. I was an early adapter of this service. After some initial skepticism, I am now a huge fan and order lunch several times a week. They offer free delivery of meals from renowned restaurants with no tipping. After some experimentation, I have a roster of favorites from which I order with a Pavlovian ferver. It is now second nature to scroll through their menu and make a selection according to my mood on an almost daily basis. Lunch orders must be placed by 10 am. My current go-tos include Veselka, Hill Country Chicken and Hudson Market. The beauty is that these places would normally be out of my delivery range in midtown Manhattan. My food has consistently been fresh, tasty and delivered on time. I rotate between healthy salads and sinful treats - beef stroganoff or lobster mac n cheese anyone? I choose the free time slot starting at 12:45 pm. Today I introduced this service to my colleagues via their Team Lunch whereby individuals order and pay separately and the entire delivery is made at once. I've ordered at least twice a week over the past 3 months and been very satisfied with the quality of the food and service I've received. They choose only the best tried & tested restaurants to promote through their site - which is modern and appealing to the eye. The food always arrives on time, hot and nicely packaged. Their delivery guys are so polite its a treat just to see them. Without a delivery charge and tip this has to be the best value delivery option in the city, And, being able to pick and choose dishes from different restaurants for the same delivery is amazing.
