Recommended by my insurance company along with another company we chose Service Masters. Let me tell you from the first phone call they were quick to respond. They set up an appointment that was convenient for us they came in assessed the damage and went to work. All along being the liaison between me and my insurance company. Our incident included two rooms and a bathroom that had some severe water damage. Their job was to move you out,!and I mean really move you out. They brought in boxes with moving blankets tape. I get constant hang up calls that are obviously from a Call Center, from the number associated with this company. They continuously call, leave voicemails with no real content, and hang up. I would advise anyone looking for restoration services to seek expert restoration experience elsewhere. read more

The one star is for the technician who came out, but the horrible customer service experience with Vinny his manager is why I'm writing this. We expect the have someone walk us through the issues. Explain things so we understand. But instead we had a horribly aggressive, impatient, and rude individual. Vinny should be fired. Worst experience with a human being ever. We had a pipe burst in May 2025 that ultimately damaged walls and floors of 3 rooms. We understood it would take a while for the process. The contracted painters were great, floor drying crew were amazing, but when it came to the floors we are still having issues.. The floors were installed by a floor contractor, who have later been fired. The floors are laminate and weren't installed correctly so the floors now move and shift. The installation isnt completely their fault, but the lack of communication is. We reached out and we were told service master would be taking care of the issue however they stopped communicating with me completely The lack of professionalism is astounding. I worked as a subcontractor for ServiceMaster Restoration by WFDR Riverside on a mobile home repair project in Stanton, CA, dealing directly with their accounting manager, Laura Borcsa. They were paid in full by both the homeowner and the insurance company for the job. My work included repairing siding, pressure washing, painting both the front and carport side, and replacing cracked siding -- all of which I completed as agreed. From day one, Laura withheld critical information about how much I would actually be paid. Only after the work was completed did she produce a contract covering just part of the work and claim I was owed far less -- a number we had never discussed or agreed to. This is a classic bait‑and‑switch tactic and, in my opinion, blatantly fraudulent. Now, rather than addressing the issue, Laura has blocked my calls and cut off all communication to avoid paying what they owe. This is not just unprofessional -- it's deceptive, unethical, and shows a complete lack of integrity. Subcontractors and customers alike should think twice before trusting this franchise. read more

This is just about the worst experience I have had with a contractor. We had a flood due to a burst pipe and this outfit was recommended by our insurer and we agreed. The project manager Isiah came out and advised he would manage the project from beginning to end with a four of five week completion. It took three months and work was left undone and some work was very poor to the point of needing repair. The first error was inexplicable and caused cascading delays. I personally saw Isiah measure the carpet square footage need. Then he ordered only enough to do about 1/4 of the building. Of course, the next lot was delayed and of course the dye was different. So I have two different colors and he blamed the manufacturer which is nonsense. Dye lots are different which is why you have to order correctly the first time. And, waiting around for the second part of the order meant my staff had to work by remote. His team ripped out some insulation that had become wet. It was never replaced. His team did a sloppy job on drywall, paint and replacing electrical components. To top it all off he would take his time in responding to requests for updates or service. We would not hear from him for days at a time though we needed to plan. In fairness, maybe this outfit is wonderful and Isiah is a bad manager. But I would then expect his boss to contact me to apologize and try and make things right. For goodness sakes, even his team members were apologizing for the mess ups. But I never heard from management at all. His team also destroyed a solid walnut conference table by not protecting it and putting other metal furniture on top. They did pay for that, though. They came and did an assessment of that which had already been demo'd. I was told I would hear something in a few days. A week later I hadn't heard anything so I called. The person I spoke to didn't know anything. Another week passed and nothing, I called them and they said they were waiting on the adjuster. I called the adjuster and he stated that he had already paid them!! I said no, please cancel payment, this is the second Service Master that has been shady with us! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! read more

I tried to get rid of them multiple times but my insurance would not let me due to having a contract with them. They collect money from the insurance. I had a horrible experience with this company for a water damage restoration and repair work. After the water damage restoration, the communication for reconstruction work was so bad. First it took a couple of weeks for sending guys for reconstruction estimation, and after the estimation one week I followed up with them, the PM Laura told they have job piled up to mid December. They are not responsive to your call and text. At the end I stopped working with them. Very bad experience. read more

Company is a complete scam. Had to pay them our deductible, and then they quoted insurance $15k when insurance estimated $5k. Of course insurance did not accept their quote so they paid us. When we called the Servicemaster to get our deductible back, they kept $1200 of it stating they already bought material and had to pay for their estimator. Such a scam. And the owner is a POS. Would call my wife instead of me and try pushing her to approve them to start working before insurance would authorize. They quoted $15,000 for the job. This company is the definition of doing a Mickey Mouse job. Our house had plumbing issues and this company was hired by our insurance to safely relocate our belongings for the time being but before we knew it, we had money missing and our belongings held HOSTAGE. How does that even happen? Disregarding the valuable materialistic items that were hostage imagine, all your memories, photos, and your life basically being stored and an undisclosed location. Only to be "disclosed" if we payed a price. IMAGINE THAT. Not only did this company hold hostage of our items but they ended up stealing over $3,000 of coins that were hidden in bins. The only way you could've found them or seen them was if you went looking for them, So i can only imagine what else their scheming thief's of employees went looking for.
