Now, because of how they handled my return, I'm dealing with the Franchise Tax Board saying I owe money. So not only did I not get my refund, I'm now stuck cleaning up a mess they created. When I asked for basic documentation like a copy of MY OWN tax return they refused to give it to me. There is no excuse for that. You file taxes under someone's name but won't provide them a copy? That alone should tell you everything. They also claimed they had proof of where my refund was sent, but what they provided wasn't even mine they were mixing my information up with my mother's. That is a serious and careless error when you're handling people's financial records. And instead of fixing it, Rose, who calls herself the "president," was incredibly rude and dismissive. She told me she would "no longer entertain" my messages, said to "do as I want," and told me not to contact their office again all because I asked for answers about my own taxes. Then she had the nerve to tell me to go deal with the FTB myself or hire another accountant basically telling me to spend more money to fix THEIR mistake. This is not just bad service it's irresponsible. Mixing up client information, refusing to provide records, and shutting down communication when questioned is unacceptable. Despite this request, no license or certification was ever provided. After the service, the hood filters were still dirty. I was then told filter cleaning cost extra, which had not been disclosed before the work was done. When I questioned this, I was told they could charge whatever they wanted. When I later declined to pay an additional fee I did not agree to, I was recorded without my consent and told I would be posted on social media. I was also blocked by the business owner, preventing me from seeing or responding to anything they may be posting about me, creating a one-sided narrative. Licensing is not an optional service or an add-on it is a basic requirement meant to protect consumers, property owners, and public safety.
