However, it does morph into a magical source of solutions to complex computer problems when an owner is in desperate need. Art is the wizard here, working diligently to fix the most difficult computer issues. Our daughter was the first to take a computer to Art. She was working on her PhD thesis when her laptop inexplicably stopped working. All her work to that point was suddenly inaccessible. Art was warm and welcoming when we first arrived. He listened carefully to her explanation of the problem she was encountering. He asked clarifying questions and reassured her that he would do his best to diagnose the problem, try to fix it and reestablish access to her work. A day or two later Art called with great news. He had successfully explored the electronic arteries within the laptop and identified and fixed the problem. The spell was broken and the PhD was back on track! The next Art PC miracle occurred when our home laptop stopped working. Ack! Not to get too technical but all of our "stuff" is on that laptop. Art was very understanding and patient while we discussed the problem; in a totally not panicky way. We left the laptop with him for his diagnostic assessment. A few days later Art called and went over his findings and how he could fix it. Apparently, no incantations or spells would be required! We were so relieved that a fix was possible. After the work was done we picked it up and Art went over everything with us while carefully listening and answering all our questions. Art is a true master. He is extremely knowledgeable as well as an incredibly nice person who cares. Each of our interactions have been very pleasant under trying circumstances. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I contacted Art at 3:30pm on Dec 23 and he responded super fast that he could do all of my laptop repairs in one or two days, even with the Christmas holiday. I dropped of my laptop one hour later. The next day (Christmas Eve!), he said everything was completed and I could pick up my laptop by 2pm. SUPER SUPER FAST! When I arrived to pick up my laptop, he walked through all the repairs that were done and clearly showed me the changed hardware. Art is super fast, super efficient, and charged me a very reasonable price for the fast turn around. To give you an idea what he did, I have a huge MSI gaming laptop that was having multiple issues. If you don't know, MSI laptops are horribly designed so that any upgrading of RAM or accessing the fans requires you to almost fully disassemble the entire laptop, removing the motherboard unit for access to those components underneath. In just a few hours, Art was able to: 1. Swap out the CPU and GPU fans (located in the most difficult spot to access) 2. Upgrade the RAM to new sticks (located underneath the motherboard, which requires removing everything out of the laptop) 3. Clone and install a secondary SSD to replace the HDD (cloning over 1Tb of data) 4. Replace the laptop battery that had started to swell (a typical problem for MSI laptops) 5. Reinstall everything correctly with proper thermal putty to keep things cool Everything works perfectly and my laptop is now ultra fast. Granted I had already purchased all the replacement/upgraded parts, but a good deal of skill is needed when dealing with MSI laptops. I highly recommend Art for all of your laptop repairs.
