Before he left, he gave me an verbal summary of his results and then followed up within a couple of days with a professional report, complete with photos, charts and recommendations about how to remedy a whole range of issues (mold, humidity, carpeting, staining, etc.) The big surprise was that the mold in my house was within the normal range and did not recommend professional treatment. I can clean it myself with common household cleaners. As I read the one-or-two other reviews that say they had a horrible experience, I wonder if they are actually talking about the same company. Insulation Co gave me the best price out of all. The owner, Jo, was very knowledgable and easy to talk to. He was always willing to jump on the phone to answer any questions, which I appreciated a lot. My house was built prior to 1989 so I received a nice PSE rebate for the work. On the day of, Jo's crew were quick and efficient and provided Before and After photos. They removed my old vapor barrier and insulation and replaced with new one, added new dryer vent duct and flapper, and added new roof vents for all my bathroom fans, and much more. I was able to ask them questions during and provided water and snacks to them for their hard work. The crew respected my home and cleaned up after themselves before leaving. After the work was completed, I thanked Jo for making this all possible and being easy to work with. We went over some of the After pictures together over the phone to help me learn about everything and ask additional questions. They even sent a crewmember to come back for a 2-week follow-up on the work to make sure everything still looks good. Lately the upstairs rooms always felt dusty and the temperature kept changing a lot, cold at night and warm during the day. Someone suggested checking the attic and once it was opened it was pretty obvious the insulation was very old and the space needed a real cleaning. Team came out and took their time looking around first. They explained what they were seeing and why the old insulation was not really doing its job anymore. There was a lot of buildup, old insulation, dust, and just years of stuff sitting in the attic. Once they started removing everything it was kind of surprising how much came out. Whole attic was cleaned out properly before anything new went in. They also pointed out a few small openings where air was getting in and sealed those while they were up there. After that the new insulation was installed and the difference started to show pretty quickly. Upstairs already feels more comfortable and the house keeps the temperature much better. Air feels cleaner too, which was something that was noticed almost right away. One thing that stood out was how careful they were during the process. They covered areas they were walking through and cleaned everything before leaving so there was no mess left behind. Attic cleaning and insulation is probably one of those things people forget about until it becomes a problem. Looking back it probably should have been done earlier, but really glad it finally got taken care of. House feels better overall and it just gives peace of mind knowing the attic is clean and properly insulated now. Really good experience from start to finish.

The small store that I work at was recently inundated by mortar dust from construction that was…read moretaking place on the outside of the building. Servpro was hired to clean the store, where everything was covered with a fine powdery dust. The bid was for $2700 and the owner of the building paid a $1300 down payment when Servpro arrived to do the work. 2 workers came and spent 5 hours cleaning. When I returned the next day, I could see that much was still covered with dust and the floors were streaked where the dirt clearly was just pushed around by the mopping they did. I've included pictures of the dirt that was still visible. I talked to the project manager and sent her the pictures of the remaining dirt and streaked floors. I was told Servpro would get back to me by end of day (Friday). At the end of the day I called to inquire about it and was told they got busy with some emergencies and would get back to me on Monday. On Monday I was told that management would be looking into it Tuesday morning. In the meantime, because the building was dirty enough that spending a couple hours down there resulted in coughing and concern that it was not a healthy environment, I took it upon myself to do some cleaning. I spent 4 hours Sunday dusting, vacuuming and mopping the showroom. When there was still no resolution from Servpro on Monday, my son and I spent an additional 2.5 hours cleaning the rest of the building. On Tuesday, Servpro notified the owner that they would accept the $1300 down payment as payment in full for the work their people completed. Their people completed very little work that didn't have to be redone, excluding the windows they washed and the light fixtures they vacuumed and/or wiped down. I've included pictures of the mop heads and the filter from the shop vac I used to re-clean. Disgusted that the money was not refunded as the cleaning had to be redone.

We chose Super Attic Solutions based on their strong BBB rating, positive reviews, and the sales pitch that emphasized thorough follow‑up and post‑project support. We received three quotes for our attic and basement work; Super Attic Solutions was not the cheapest, but the promised inspections and customer care were the deciding factor for us. The crew that performed the work was respectful, efficient, and left the space clean. However, everything that happened after they left has been the opposite of what was promised. The sales rep assured us that an "inspector" would return a few weeks after completion to verify that: No rodents had re‑entered the home All work met code Any questions or concerns would be addressed He even mentioned a 6‑month follow‑up to ensure long‑term satisfaction. None of this happened. When I asked the project manager to walk the space with the crew, he was hesitant. I'm glad I insisted -- four ceiling lights were sealed incorrectly and left hanging an inch from the ceiling. I was told an "inspector" would come fix them, so the crew left and I was left with blue tape holding up my lights. A week later, our AC wouldn't shut off. I discovered the furnace (located in the attic) had been wrapped in insulation -- a fire hazard and not to code -- and no clear path had been left for HVAC access. When I called urgently, I was asked to send photos and then told a "supervisor with tons of experience" reviewed them and everything was fine. It wasn't. I had to pay an HVAC company to confirm the hazard, and only then was I told they might reimburse up to $500 because they didn't think they could send someone out. When the "inspector" finally arrived, they were not inspectors at all -- it was two members of the original crew. They fixed the lights (well no disrespect) and removed the insulation, from the furnace just laying on the air ducts. However, as we were communicating via technology translator, I could not get any answer to any questions and was told to call the office. Since then, I've left multiple messages through their AI system and sent two emails. I have given this company over 4 weeks to uphold the customer service they say they hold themselves to and I still haven't gotten a single phone call, let alone an "inspector" to look over the work, but they my check cashed. Bottom line: The initial work was fine, but the promised follow‑up and customer care simply do not exist. Once the crew leaves, you are on your own. Jesus and Brandon were respectful of the space -- for example, when they had to take down some heavy closet doors and lean them against a wall, they put a cloth between the doors and the wall so as not to scratch the wall. They suggested fixes that in my mind went above and beyond, such as putting a layer of primer on the sheathing to help it resist moisture, should my roof leak again in the future. Hopefully I'll never need them again in the future, but if I do, they'll be the ones I call first.
