We can't say enough about Servpro's friendly, competent and FAST response to our flooded downstairs last month. They were at our house practically before the rain stopped! Their timely care saved our wall-to-wall rugs, and our rooms were dry and livable again within a week. We are recommending them to everyone we know. I was in absolute panic when my attic AC unit went, then my bedroom ceiling went. I cannot say enough good things about Servepro and how they handled this with me throughout. They came at the recommendation of my home insurance agency, and thank the lord I used them. They checked on the damages daily, and every single person that came through my home was not only personable, but went out of their way to guide me through the process. Even when mold and asbestos issues followed, again - they guided me through incredibly well. It was wonderful to deal with a company that felt like they not only knew what they were doing, but also felt like they were there to help you figure it all out. I think if I went my own way with a remediation service, this would have been handled a lot less efficiently. Here I am, 6 days post-leak and I am mold and asbestos free. We had a leaky bathroom shower that appeared on our living room ceiling. Our insurance guy came over and said there were three companies that do the claim investigation, ServPro being one, and it was the closest. They were quick to investigate, quick to set up a time to start work, and quick to say all of this "should" be covered by insurance, so don't worry about the charges at this point. "We'll get to that once we know what we're dealing with..." Now I know what I am dealing with: the insurance guy says the issue is "deferred maintenance" (for a house we recently bought and a problem that was going on for years), so the claim isn't covered by insurance. The ServPro guys came to remove their equipment, as I wasn't going to authorize someone to do work without having a full scope of work to be performed and estimate of the cost, said "Don't worry. This is just the investigative work; the insurance company pays to know what they are dealing with so they know if they'll cover it or not." So it seems that ServPro and the insurance adjusters are all in cahoots. I just got a $2400 bill from ServPro for their "investigative work". So before you let them step foot on your property, ask for a full estimate of work to be done and costs. And also ask what kickback the insurance adjuster receives for sending your business their way. read more

After our miserable winter, we realized that we had enough spring repairs to justify an insurance claim. When the adjuster came, she suggested we call someone like servepro to do the demolition and evaluate whether there is moisture or mold inside our walls. I was disappointed to be told we would have to wait almost a month, but I understood there were lots of homes with problems. While I was waiting, 2 things got me nervous: First, 2 weeks before the appointment they called me and told me I needed to give them a credit card number that day. Luckily I refused. Then I was at my friend's house when they came to evaluate their situation. They were there for maybe 15 minutes and declared the house fine. This is someone that had water pouring into the house on multiple days. Common sense tells me there must be insulation that got wet. The real killer came a week ago, 2 days before they were finally scheduled to come. They called and said they were rescheduling all their work for the week. They would get back to me on a new date. I am still waiting to hear from them. Impressively unprofessional. So much for being faster to any size disaster - instead a local remediation company is working at my house today. 2018 update: So, I have received a request from the business telling me that I was dealing with their Texas operation. That might be so, they may be right that it was someone from Texas who came up to help them, but I dialed the local franchise. If they bring in additional help, it's still their business, I'm sorry. By the way, except for a request to retract this review, I still haven't heard back from them. read more

I cannot say enough good things about ServPro of Bridgewater.. Back in January, we had ice dams and water coming into our house in 4 different areas in our home, which resulted in filing a very LARGE insurance claim. The owner came out, checked every wall (literally every wall I wanted him to check). We found out we also had asbestos in a couple ceilings so prior to servpro doing their work we had to have a separate company remove those. Once servpro started we initially thought there was going to be 4 rooms impacted. By the time we were done, there were a total of about 10 areas. As they were opening up walls they were VERY thorough to ensure that they weren't just checking the '4 room box'. I was SO grateful to have them. They worked tirelessly until they were able to confidently say we had pulled all the areas that had been damaged. Treated for mold. I am 8 months pregnant with a toddler and am a stay at home mother so I was there the entire time they were working. They were detailed, clean and their communication on the process was wonderful. Brian the lead was amazing and detailed. I'm so grateful they took the time to ensure that the work was done right the first time. As this was being done, we had yet another flooding issue this March (the large storm that hit south shore). We had no power for 4 days, our sump pump went out and had about 16 inches of water fill our basement, with no generator.. we were desperate to get the water out of our basement. The owner was SO amazing and talked me through the mess over the weekend, even though he had many other homes he was helping with all the flooding in the areas. The following week he had his guys out drying everything out and treating mold. He truly went above and beyond to help us despite the massive amount of people who were also being impacted. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone who is needing a good company. I'm VERY surprised by the reviews that they have on here. I know they have A LOT of very grateful customers. Sadly once the disasters are over, most of us don't take the time to review positive experiences. Hopefully this helps anyone questioning the quality they might get from these guys. read more

I had a fire at my condo last March 28, they were right there helping immediately and I had more stuff than anyone person should have. They packed everything up and brought to their location and cleaned everything that they could. Everyone was so helpful and sympathetic to my situation as well.....Unfortunately as I unpacked and settled back into my condo little things I would look for, I never got back. They gave me a gift card which was appreciated. Also, I just noticed damage to my couch that I did not have when it was taken out of my condo. I am disappointed that I will now have to replace this and since it was not damaged due to the water damage, my insurance will not cover it. read more
