Came out to inspect my roof/ceiling for water damage, which they stated there was a leak present (obviously) however did not mention any damages observed. They took samples from the ceiling and told me they would notify me if any samples detected mold/mildew. While they were there, the employee stated I would not have to pay anything for the initial service as it would be covered by insurance, however if I decided to move forward with any repairs it may come out of pocket. A couple months had passed and I had not heard back from anyone other than my insurance about any damages or repairs. I then find an email showing water restoration repairs for the amount of $500+. Absolutely nothing was repaired or restored during this process.. I called their customer service and they told me to get in touch with the contractor and gave me his number, called him twice and left a voicemail no answer, called them back they gave me the same answer. Absolutely horrible job they left a mess they left Staples thousands of Staples sticking out of the floor in our kitchen where we have children and pets, refused to call us back on the matter and damage property not covered by the insurance. Very Disappointed! Servpro was recommended to me by my dad who had his basement mitigated by Servpro. He was very pleased with the experience he had. Unfortunately, my experience was not very good. Communication and good customer service is key to business. Servpro was an hour late arriving to my house. The reason they were late is because they had a "meeting" that ran over. If you commit to a customer you will be there at a certain time I can imagine why you would allow a "meeting" to get in the way of providing good customer service. In addition, they left marks on the floor and did not remove all of the molding they told me they were going to remove. When I complained about the marks I was told that this is normal and that they would clean up the floor once the machines were removed. I wish this would have been communicated to me before the job began instead of me finding the marks on my floor and having to call. While this was going on I called to request an appointment for someone to come out to the house and discuss options for repair with me. I was told that Mary would call me back to schedule an appointment with Mike. I never received that phone call. When you are going through a disaster in your home, that last thing you want is a disaster with your mitigation company. read more

One week after we moved into our house with gorgeous Brazilian Cherry Wood floors throughout, we had a problem with our plumbing in the laundry room after we decided to call it a day and watch a little TV. Needless to say, when it was discovered we were horrified to find that about a third of the rooms had flooded. I had never even heard about Servpro's services, so we worked furiously to contain the damage. When I posted a comment on FB about it the next day, my friend from Servpro saw it and called me. She arranged for a truck to come out that morning and all I can say is, they were awesome! They helped us recover with no damage to anything.
