United Water Restoration came to my house on 1/12/22 and gave me a quote to clean all of my vents, took a deposit for half, then called me the next day to say they didn't quote me the correct price and it would be more than double what they originally quoted. I told them I was not longer interested and asked for a refund, which they agreed to provide. I've called them three times since then because they still have not refunded my money.

Al, introduced himself, surveyed our damages, sat down at our breakfast table and began detailing what services he could provide us, and we must make a note that, then and only then did he ask us who our insurance agency was, and quickly helped us place the call to our agency, briefing us on what each terminology meant and how we could submit the claim. We felt NO pressure to secure his services but felt that Al, could and turned out to be trustworthy and he did not disappoint. The staff were always respectful and displayed professionalism in handling our home and showed genuine concern for ALL our needs. Water had also soaked into the mattress , laminated floor and some wall hanging and there was insulation all over the floor. One call to ER had them at the house within an hour ( I had already isolated the leak and it was being fixed by Acosta plumbing who also responded quickly). ER arranged for the removal of damaged items as necessary and installed dehumidifiers and heaters - which ran for 5 days. Alvin Henry came to discuss the process and put my mind at ease. It's obvious that he and the company are experts in the matter and of course this was my first experience. ( A good point to remember - check the electricity meter reading before the equipment is installed and when it is removed - you can claim the cost from your insurers) . Al was present when the insurance adjuster visited and to be honest led him through the process too! A god send. Whilst the insurance claim was being processed Al went out of his way to identify a source of laminate flooring of the same type as we have throughout the house - having to try several sources around Houston. Once the insurers confirmed our claim ER's team moved in and George, CJ and Nico worked steadily and efficiently to finish the job ahead of schedule. What I really appreciated was that I was kept updated of all the steps required and what was happening next. The company promised to leave the room looking even better than before- and they achieved that in some style.

They are always very competent and communicate well as far as any needed changes in the schedule. In about 13 times that I've had them, there was just one time when I wasn't happy with the way they had cleaned the bathroom floor. I called and they offered to reduce my cost for cleaning the next time they came, so that was fine. I really appreciate that the cleaners come in a pair. There's a little more quality control that way. I also appreciate that I am dealing with a service rather than individuals working on their own because if someone is ill or if there is a problem with scheduling, it's not my concern to give up my cleaning day. Westpaqhealth works that out and they always come. They're more expensive than having someone come in that's not associated with a service, but it's not a turnoff for me. Scheduling is flexible, and he arrived when he said he would. He's professional and conscientious, the work is thorough and not rushed. The end result is always quite impressive, and the final cost has always been exactly what he quoted at the start -- no added charges. The price is very reasonable, especially when you consider the amount of time he spends on the job. He also took the time to explain how I can do some of the maintenance on my own. Original Review: I just finished moving out of my old place and wanted some help for my move out cleaning. I texted the number on their website and had someone respond quickly. They were very friendly, gave me info about their company, what all would be done and the price. The price was fair and I booked. They even worked with me moving my cleaning date due to the landlord doing some last minute repairs to the property. This is where the positives end. The day of my cleaning the assigned maid arrived. She did not wear a mask and I had to do my best to keep social distance from her. I walked her through the property and she called her manager to get the pricing for the home. I was expecting a two person team but they sent one person. She said because the house had a small patio room that it would be extra and I agreed. I paid the full amount via venmo and left. The next day my landlord called me and asked if the house had been cleaned? He said if it had I need to request my money back. The tub and sink were terrible. The oven was barely touched. The maid used all of the landlords paper towels he had there for a project, took cleaning supplies and also threw away the bathroom vent cover. That is a piece of the unit and should be cleaned and put back up, not thrown away. I contacted the company and provided photos. They apologized and said they would get with the landlord to get this fixed ASAP. They would send someone else out to get the property cleaned. I am in jeopardy of not getting my deposit back due to them. The landlord spoke to someone named George about this and he said he needed to escalate the issue. It has been a week and no one has reached out to the landlord to make this right. The company also gave the maid my cell phone number and she personally texted me telling me how she did not agree with what I said, why she did not wear a mask, and why she decided to use the paper towels at the home. She brought her own supplies and used supplies at the home without permission. This has made my life so much more complicated. I hired them to make my move out easy but it has now severely complicated it and now it has been dragged out. The company needs to honor their word and make this right ASAP. Get someone out to the property ASAP to clean properly, replace the items and supplies taken by the maid and communicate like they agreed to. They are my FOURTH cleaning company I am hiring because everyone else has let me down. When I called to book I explained my needs and what type of cleaner I am looking for and they recommended Judy. I have had Judy weekly for two months and every week I am truly blown away. From my first conversation booking her to when she arrives at my house and the finished product is exactly what I was looking for and again unlike anyone else. She is beyond detailed and get into every nook and cranny. She brings all her own products and is very fast. My bathroom looks brand new like we just built it. Please give them a try.
