United Water Restoration came to my house on 1/12/22 and gave me a quote to clean all of my vents, took a deposit for half, then called me the next day to say they didn't quote me the correct price and it would be more than double what they originally quoted. I told them I was not longer interested and asked for a refund, which they agreed to provide. I've called them three times since then because they still have not refunded my money.

We had someone, Mr. Al Henry, at our home within a hour. Al, introduced himself, surveyed our damages, sat down at our breakfast table and began detailing what services he could provide us, and we must make a note that, then and only then did he ask us who our insurance agency was, and quickly helped us place the call to our agency, briefing us on what each terminology meant and how we could submit the claim. We felt NO pressure to secure his services but felt that Al, could and turned out to be trustworthy and he did not disappoint. I had a small leak in a hot water pipe in my loft recently which eventually brought down much of…read morethe ceiling in an unused bedroom . Water had also soaked into the mattress , laminated floor and some wall hanging and there was insulation all over the floor. One call to ER had them at the house within an hour ( I had already isolated the leak and it was being fixed by Acosta plumbing who also responded quickly). ER arranged for the removal of damaged items as necessary and installed dehumidifiers and heaters - which ran for 5 days. Alvin Henry came to discuss the process and put my mind at ease. It's obvious that he and the company are experts in the matter and of course this was my first experience. ( A good point to remember - check the electricity meter reading before the equipment is installed and when it is removed - you can claim the cost from your insurers) . Al was present when the insurance adjuster visited and to be honest led him through the process too! A god send. Whilst the insurance claim was being processed Al went out of his way to identify a source of laminate flooring of the same type as we have throughout the house - having to try several sources around Houston. Once the insurers confirmed our claim ER's team moved in and George, CJ and Nico worked steadily and efficiently to finish the job ahead of schedule. What I really appreciated was that I was kept updated of all the steps required and what was happening next. The company promised to leave the room looking even better than before- and they achieved that in some style.
