As someone who was new to the area, that first impression meant a lot. Three years later, the same warm atmosphere keeps me coming back. Their hours have always worked perfectly with my schedule, giving me a comfortable place to study after work. There is plenty of seating, and best of all, lots of outlets, which has been a lifesaver for someone like me with an ancient laptop that seems to lose battery the moment I turn it on! Beyond the amazing coffee and cozy ambiance, what really sets this place apart is its commitment to the community. They regularly host events that are open to the public and even keep an event calendar posted so customers can stay informed. I've also seen them partner with organizations like Prisma HealthCare to offer free health screenings, which speaks volumes about how much they care about the people they serve. This isn't just a coffee shop. It's a place where you feel welcomed, supported, and connected. The lady gave me a snarky comment and said, "yeah you got Vietnamese coffee, that's what it will taste like". It's basically just a counter inside a small room within a collective. It's meant for grab-and-go. The Vietnamese coffee was nice and strong and the ube cold foam was a great addition. I had a sip of my friend's ube matcha and thought it was good, too. My sandwich was also lovely- the Sunrise Sandwich on an Everything Bagel is easily my favorite breakfast sandwich in Tempe. The Basil Pesto adds a bit of freshness to an otherwise very rich sandwich. Also stopped in a few more times on my evening walks for a Lavender Haze (seasonal earl grey sage honey drink: EXCELLENT!) and their seasonal energy drink- it was a Sunset Spritz (energy with grapefruit pink cordial): both delicious. Happy to say service has improved greatly. Employees are on task and happy to answer my questions. The drinks on the seasonal menu are very good, and their classics are also great.
