I used to stop by this donut shop all the time because it was my customers favorite. So glad they turned me on to the ham & cheese croissants. This place always has fresh donuts. On todays visit I had the ham, cheese & jalapeño croissant, it was bigger then my hand, fluffy, buttery, crusty goodness. Super messy to eat but don't let that stop you from getting one for now and another for later. You'll definitely need to vacuum the car if you eat it on the go (def worth it tho!). They also sell croissant sandwiches & boba drinks. Located next to South Mtn CC in the Target shopping center (on the 24th Street side). Plenty of parking, service is fast. read more

Had raving reviews so my friends and I had to try while we were in town for the weekend. They had a great selection of donuts for a Wednesday morning and a few people that came in that seemed like regulars. A half dozen donuts and 2 breakfast sandwiches cost us about $20. My husband got the "butterfly" which was basically a cinnamon roll donut with some frosting and crumble on top and he thought that was okay. He liked the Boston crème better. I really liked both the chocolate ring and sugar donuts! But my favorite might have been the breakfast sandwich! They made a real egg for it and the yolk was just slightly runny which made it delicious! The staff was super friendly and accommodating, answering all the questions we had. Stopped in for none other to feed my donut craving. I was pleasantly greeted by the staff. The inside was very clean and welcoming. I wanted to order a glazed twist but they were out. However, the lady advised me she could make up another batch but it would take about an hour. That right there let me know these donuts were going to be over the top fresh. I didn't have the time to wait so I ordered a Coconut Glazed, Glazed Chocolate, Apple Fritter, Maple Bar, Buttermilk Bar and Maple Glazed Crueller. All of the donuts were light, fresh and airy. They were perfectly sweet, not to sweet to satisfy my sweet tooth. I'd definitely recommend giving them a try as it won't disappoint. And no, I know what you're thinking.....I didn't eat all of them. We stopped here on our way out of AZ. I wanted a good, fresh, normal donut. Service was fast and they weren't busy for being around 10:00 in the morning. They also had a full case of donuts. I ordered the cherry fritter because I love a good apple fritter and I hardly ever see cherry fritters. The cherry fritter was very good and fresh. I ordered my husband his usual cinnamon roll. Okay, as a pastry chef. I love this place, Chinese owned and operated. I'm not sure what they put in the water there but keep it up. I have tried "everyone's" donuts, I.e. boss, Arizona donuts, dunkin. These ladies are so much better. They take classics like chic old fashion and make it into magic. Especially when I'm traveling, I crave donuts. When you name a store "Best Donuts," expect a lot of customers to show up. It wasn't my FAVORITE bakery experience, but it was still fun. One morning while waiting to work an event, I hung out here reading my book, drinking coffee, and eating donuts. Immediately I spotted my two favorite kinds of donuts, twisted sugar cinnamon and apple fritter. It was a little too many carbs for me in one sitting, but the decently strong coffee helped me wash everything down. Lots of other options, and the display case was so aesthetically pleasing. Not much seating either. Just two tables where one was in the shade and one was in the blazing sun. I think there were tables outside, but it was way too hot. Felt homey and family-owned.
