    Black sesame iced latte

Superrr disappointed in our visit as Motek is one of our faves and it's the same owners. It's all dairy items but there is a decent variety. The standouts for me were the coffee (yummy creme brûlée latte with oat milk), and the hazelnut (Nutella tasting) crunchy square (like a croissant). The dips were tasty but not worth the price tag and didn't come with enough bread to eat all the dips. The tomato dip just tastes like canned tomato sauce with some seasoning. The babaganoush was ok - very chunky. It was very busy when we arrived but we were seated quickly. Sadly, our server did not come to the table for about 20 minutes after we sat (and we were watching the baked goods we wanted get sold out by the second!) Then, our coffees took almost 40 minutes to come out! Not sure if they are short staffed but we noticed that many tables left and were not cleared for quite a while; and there was lots of trash in the bathroom. Parking is available by the 1h increment at $1.30/hour. (Short walk away, no direct lot.)

Fabulous! Fabulous!! Fabulous!!! I can't say enough about this elegant and charming cafe. I feel as if I was whisked away to France and graced with heavenly delights that invite your taste buds to dance with graceful joy. The service is amazing! We felt carefully attended to the entire time. Every server was keenly aware of when to clear items along the way. I was so happy to see that our server was, Sol. I met Sol two days ago when I came for the first time to celebrate a birthday with over 20 ladies. Sol handled our group with such patience and grace. Never once did she flinch, get overwhelmed, or rush us. So today, being just hubby and I, it was especially nice to enjoy her friendly attention. I had the Red Shakshuka and hubby had the Brooklyn Bagel. Both were delicious, and that bagel was the best and softest we've ever had. We finished off with an enormous and delicious cloud of creamy custard and whipped cream kissed by a slice of strawberry and hugged by a slightly sweet bread dusted with just a touch of sweetness. Needless to say, we will be back!!!

Came to Sesame on my birthday before doing some kayaking. The parking is pretty cumbersome even on a Monday afternoon, I cant imagine what the weekends are like. Julian was our server and he was kind and attentive. We knew we just wanted a few items from the bakery, so we sat at a table and then picked a few out. We went with a Sesame latte, omelette boureka, everything bagel and labneh, berries and cream croissant and chocolate hazelnut cube. The Sesame latte was nice. Had a rich, nutty flavor. The omelette bourkea was probably my favorite. The egg was light and fluffy and the boureka was crispy and airy. The everything bagel looks big and intimidating, but its not dense like a regular bagel, its more airy like a croissant, and they serve it with labneh so it has that Mediterranean taste. I wish it was known ahead of time that the bagel isn't like a regular bagel. You bite into something expecting one thing and get something completely different that you might not have ordered had you known. The berries and cream had a good amount of fresh fruit. Not too sweet which is nice. The chocolate hazelnut cube on the other hand wasn't as sweet which made it weird, but also understandable considering how much hazelnut spread is actually inside it. Overall, we only spent $42.50 on the food which is reasonable. However, I deducted two stars because of their automatic 18% service charge. I had absolutely no idea, and when I went to pay I gave a $10 tip on top of the already $7.65 auto added gratuity. Apparently it states it on the menu, but we never looked at one because we ordered from the bakery, and our server never mentioned it. If someone is dining in, and you do something that isn't common practice, I think the server should absolutely mention it. I don't think that a customer should be responsible for reading every single word that's printed on a menu, especially if they aren't even looking at one. I'm not a fan of this practice at all, and I'm sure I'm not the first who has fallen for it. Pay your servers a living wage, the customers shouldn't be doing it for you. I will not be returning to this establishment.

Everything we ordered was amazing, would recommend to order different things for the table to try a little of everything. The staff were super friendly, and they are also kid friendly. There was a good amount of people inside and outside but got there around 2 people and did not have any trouble getting a table for a large group. Theres also a parc right in front to take the kids after.

I always see this place as I'm leaving Costco but never stopped in until today! So cute! Lots of pink! I parked in the deck for a $1! They have a guy walking around constantly. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating. It was hot so we opted for inside. We tried the latkes and a few of the dips. Loved the latkes. The added sour cream was great! The coffee was pretty good too! They were out of the dolce de leche coffee. I tried the Carmel and wasn't disappointed.

One of my top bakeries! Wow yummmyyy!!!! Yes, its IG famous right now so any weekend day will be PACKED and wait time is 30-45 minutes, deal with it. I do believe the waitlist could be more efficient instead of having someone writing it down on a piece of paper and yelling out names, maybe a check in with phone number and text when table is ready so people can at least wait at the park in front. Anyway, service is good, we had 2 cappuccinos, and a tuna sandwich that was DELICIOUS, the bread was amazing, sesame perfectly toasted baguette, we also had a cheese pastry and some extra to take home. It is a small bakery, all tables are pretty close together, loud and a lot going on. The bathrooms were very dirty and the "self serve bread station" is a no from me, i saw people grabbing stuff with their hands and it does not seem sanitary at all.

Sesame Bakery is so cute!!! I went for a Pilates event and ended up here for a coffee and danish and absolutely loved it! Rosa was our waitress and she was the sweetest! They open at 8am however you can order from their menu starting at 9am. I will definitely be back to check their menu out!

It was a nice restaurant to have some lunch with my girl friend. The food and drink were delicious. Like others say in Yelp, you need to find a public parking - we parked in the nearby garage. It was like $1.15 per hour. They seem to have short staff. Our server rarely came to our table. But my friend and I wanted to talk - so it didn't bother us. We visited on a weekday. They must be super busy on weekends. Only the downside besides parking is that they have only one bathroom for men/women. I had to wait like 15 minutes to use the bathroom.

In town visiting family, Sesame happens to be across the street from where we are staying and near several residential mid rise and high rise buildings Sesame is known for their bakery and several months ago opened for lunch and breakfast, hours are 8am to 5pm This was our second visit for lunch and both times lunch was excellent. Today we ate al fresco but there is ample space inside if that is your preference. The offerings are one full page of selections which is plenty as it's diverse and all well executed. We ordered the tuna melt which came on Sesame"s home baked baguette with melted mozzarella and the tuna salad included roasted tomatos, cucumbers and dried cranberries.. Our second order was the Mezze sampler which includes babaganoush , matbucha, labneh, house pickles and picked carrots and a sesame baguette. The two items were plenty for 2 to share and neither of us left hungry Final thoughts as good as food at a restaurant can be the meal can be tainted by poor service . NOT the case at Sesame as both times we've eaten here service was excellent and this time Sol was our server and she provided top notch service with a smile

One word: wow! I've been on the hunt for a spot like this for a while, and when I saw the vibe and food on Instagram, plus my sister recommending it, we knew we had to check it out. Sesame, located in North Miami, is absolutely stunning. The exterior and interior are both gorgeous, such a perfect blend of colors and a really inviting atmosphere. As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the staff and immediately drawn to the beautifully presented pastries. It was hard to choose, but we ended up getting the sesame breakfast, the mezze sampler, challah bread and for pastries. We opted for their almond croissant, and the Vanilla flan croissant and the bread pudding pastry. To drink, I had the lavender Ube latte which is literally my two favorite flavors in one and my sister opted for the rose latte. Everything was as fresh and delicious as it looked. I've seen plenty of pictures online, but the real deal did not disappoint. I've been searching for a bakery with fresh goods, and I've found my new favorite spot. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and check it out. You'll get a beautiful, aesthetic atmosphere, amazing food, and fantastic service, all in one. Highly recommend!

Food is good but the restaurant and the condo where it's located discriminate disabled people. There are no any disabled parking spots on the street around. My friend with a wheelchair and we were supposed to park the car far away behind the building on the street. What a surprise when we got a ticket 55$ fine for not paying a parking when the disabled permit allows us to park for free for 4 hours. The mood was ruined. Very unfair terms for handicapped people. Shame on you guys.

When I heard the team behind Motek was opening a more casual kind of breakfast/brunch location, thought this would be another success for that team. I was hoping this place to be another Zak the Baker or something like that. The location is beautiful, with abundance of natural light and seating, both inside and outside. However, I think my hopes were too high. It turned out this was just a subpar brunch experience. The flavors were too bland, pretty plain. Service was also a bit lost and sort of overwhelmed. On the positive side of things, the coffee was pretty good and I would come back for it.

Service and food prep time is always speedy, even when helping a lot of customers. Inside, it looks, feels and smells like a relaxing spa, and the music also elevates the experience. It generally attracts a young bougie crowd wearing expensive athleisure brands, but it's also close to the beach so you'll find varying levels of casual attire. The quality and portions are very standardized and efficiently prepared, so you can expect a high level of consistency each time you order the same thing even at different locations. While it's not freshly made to order, the meals are tasty, filling, satisfying, and fast - while being way healthier than fast food. Queue up and order at the counter. If dining in, you'll be given a number to take to your table and your food will be brought to you. Prices are a little steep and can run you about $60 for a 2-person lunch. You can save on service fee by ordering on the app. We especially like the salmon and chicken rice bowls - but were disappointed recently when pickled onions listed on the menu were replaced with raw onions. For the coffee lovers: Pura Vida also serves a surprisingly rich, tasty and well made latte. Just wish they offered a larger size. When the weather's nice, we enjoy grabbing a table outside to watch people passing by.

It's the kind of place where you can just grab a book off the table and read while you eat, which makes for such a relaxing morning. The coffees are consistently excellent and the food is very tasty. For this visit, I had the Neverland iced coffee and the Golden Tater Tot meal, while my wife had the croissant with Nutella, banana, and strawberries along with the Passionate fruit drink. My sister-in-law opted for the Firehouse breakfast with a pistachio coffee, and everyone was thrilled with their choices. The service is always friendly and welcoming, which is why we keep coming back. The turn in is a bit awkward, but there parking lot was pretty much empty at that time (and completely full by the time we left). I do not have a large car and the spots are super narrow. If you drive a truck, I would not try to park in the inner lot in front of the entrance. The place is clearly LGBT friendly; kudos for the pride flags out front. I immediately felt like I was walking into a hipster cafe in Cali. You order and pay inside; get a table number and the bring your food and drinks out to you. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I got the secret pita and golden latte. Service was relatively quick. Drink came then food shortly after. I totally wasn't thinking when I got the golden latte. It was a bit warm outside for a hot latte but I wanted to try something unique. Hard to describe but I enjoyed it. It came with granola on the dish. Not sure if you are supposed to throw it in. The squirrels and birds ended up eating mine. Yes, there was a lot of wildlife that was not shy. The squirrel was literally eating out of my hand and would have sat on our table if my friend allowed it. The bird flew in and did just that though. Came back for seconds a few times. Then as the place got busier, they must have gone off to bother others. As an animal lover, this was a fun perk but may be a turn off to some. The presentation for the pita was unexpected. I had to open a the box to get to my meal. You can choose how the egg is cooked. I went with the default sunny side up. The chorizo hit. Hummus was ok. Kind of bland. I didn't care for olives and picked the fruit off my dessert pita. Felt like I had enough pita carbs by the time I got to it. The ambiance was mostly peaceful. They do play music which was on the border of getting too loud. Coffee was pricy but all coffee is now. The food was also on the high end. This would be a major factor on whether to come back. I don't recall anything unique on the menu aside from the pita. The menu appears to change seasonally though.
