It seems to be a challenge finding great customer service after COVID- so thank you Georgia Garage doors for showing me that there are still companies that appreciate their customers. My experience with this company: In 2021, I called Georgia garage doors, and ended up speaking to Jermey, based on when I called; it would have been considered an emergency if they had come to my home. Jermey asked me to take pictures and send to him. After reviewing the pictures he told me that he could walk me through it because it was very simple. He walked me through it, saving me the emergency trip fee and whatever the cost would have been to fix it. Most, if not all other companies would have come out, charged the emergency fee, and charged whatever they wanted to fix it . They would have never said it was simple to fix, nor would they have been willing to walk me through the steps to fix the issue and not charge me some type of phone repair fee. At that point I knew I would be keeping their number for ever. On January 19, 2024 -I had a major problem with my garage door. I had FaceTimed a friend in another state and showed him my garage door and he said, do not try to close the door because it was off track, a piece had fallen out, and it may fall which would not be pretty. He told me to call someone who works on garage doors immediately. I remembered having Georgia garage doors number and gave them a call. I spoke to Jermey again, and it was the same impeccable customer service I received in 2021. Again, I sent pictures - Jermey told me (not to try to close the door) - exactly what my friend told me. I did request for them to come out this time for an emergency because I did not want my garage door left up the entire weekend. Jermey came, and he was as polite, and professional in person as he was over the phone. He actually provided me safety options on what I could do to possibly have more time before having to purchase a new garage door. After doing my own research prior to contacting them and speaking with my friend while FaceTiming the door- I knew it was probably best for my household to go on and purchase a new garage door for safety reasons. On that Monday, I had my garage door installed. *Saying this company is Awesome,superior, fantastic, amazing, honest, and customer-focused does not do justice. After speaking…read morewith David, he seemed friendly and scheduled a time to come out to see us and give us a quote. Due to him being busy, that time was pushed back a few days in a row, but he did finally arrive and give us a quote. He walked us through the entire process and scheduled a day to come and install our new garage door. I would like to mention that our previous garage door was a custom size by the previous owners, so it would take quite a few weeks before he had the correct garage door for us. He did end up having one in stock that was our exact size and made plans to install that one the following week. Also, the previous garage door was not functional at all. The last owners of our home had left it open for years on end, it was rusted, the electrical did not work anymore, we had to heave it open and closed anytime we wanted to get in or out of the garage, and it had finally gotten stuck to where we could hardly do that most days. The day that David scheduled to come out and install it was pushed back five times in a row. Once they finally did arrive it was a two day project. I don't have an issue with the work actually getting done, my issue is with every single thing that followed. The night they had finished installation, it was late and dark. David had my husband install the app on his phone to remotely use our garage door, while his employee cleaned up. The next morning when we came out to look actually look at our garage door for the first time in the light, we noticed a dent in one of the panels near the window. We also noticed that David did not bother once to check and make sure the garage door worked at the button before he left, only through the app that he had my husband install on his phone. As soon as we realized these two things, we reached out to him immediately. It took him over a week to get back to us just to get the button fixed. On October 26th we were told he was reaching out to the manufacturer to have that panel replaced, and that it generally can take 3 to 4 weeks. I have text exchanges of all of these reassurances he gave us. It is now December 21 and we still have no new panel. I've reached out to David countless times to ask when it will be ready, he generally doesn't respond until the next day even if I text him first thing in the morning. Every single time he messages back it's a "they haven't told me it's ready yet, most likely next week". Again, this is been happening since October 26th. The last time I reached out to David was on December 1, where he told me that the panel should be ready the next week. Again, it's December 21, and still no contact from him. I've been holding out on posting any kind of review because I understand that the end of the year is probably crazy for a lot of businesses, but I just don't understand how hard it is to communicate with a customer, even if it is just a text message. Our garage door was installed on October 14th, he was FULLY PAID on that date, and still the job hasn't been finished. Quite frankly, I'm hoping that this review will finally get them back out here to finish the work. David is a very nice guy, but I don't see myself ever recommending this company to any family or friend. If you want someone who's going to get the job done efficiently and correctly, learn from my mistakes and do not use Premier Garage Renovations. UPDATE: David reached out to me within an hour of posting this to say our part was ready and it could be "installed next week" (Dec 26-Dec30). I messaged him back within 15mins to ask which day, and got no reply. A week went by, I messaged him again and still no reply.

Honest garage door offered no help whatsoever to come out and troubleshoot. They didn't offer to even contact LiftMaster! I had to go online and figure out the troubleshooting process myself and then contacted Chamberlin/LiftMaster and was put through the ringer before they finally decided to send me a logic board. Almost 2 weeks later I get the board and had to install it myself. If I was not handy, I would have had to call another company to do what Honest Garage Door and More would not! When I was told to just "contact LiftMaster myself", Honest Garage Doors immediately fired themselves from me ever using this company again! That is ZERO follow up Customer Service For you! Stay away from this company!!! There are tons more garage door companies they will follow up after the installation.. (Btw: never buy a LiftMaster, had a craftsman for 20 years, never gave one minutes problem. This fancy unit died in 13 months).
