Came in last summer and it is a Great spot for a work event or group outing! We hosted a work event at Set Lounge & Billiards in Sheepshead Bay and had a really great experience. The venue offers a fun mix of activities bowling, pool tables, and darts which made it easy for everyone to find something they enjoyed. The space was spacious and well-organized, perfect for a group setting. The bar food was solid with good options, and the drinks were well-made. Staff were friendly and accommodating, especially considering we were a larger group. Overall, it's a lively but comfortable spot that works well for team events, celebrations, or just a night out with friends. If you are a black or hispanic person I promise you are NOT WELCOMED HERE. The staff will look at you and walk away. They would rather tend to their people who are white and prioritize them. This place acts in a very racist manner and I had the feeling that they were ignoring us because they didn't want us to stay. They seated me and my boyfriend in this corner and the table next to us was also a black and hispanic couple. The white people were allowed to sit anywhere and at this moment I had the worst feeling in my stomach. I am beyond disappointed and disgusted with this location. I always go to red oak in bay ridge and the one time I decide to try out another spot, my boyfriend and I were racially discriminated against. I will NEVER come back to this establishment. We also ordered a margarita and a soda. The soda was a glass bottle but it was about 6oz. They charged us $5 for two sips of coke. The margarita was good. The truffle fries were good and their "buffalo chicken wings" were fried chicken with buffalo sauce on the side. We tried to order hookah but we waited for 30-40 minutes and nobody came to help us. We asked for help ordering the hookah several times. They will also hold on to your ID and card to "keep a tab open." Upon asking the waiter for our card back the pulled out a folder that had at least 20+ cards in it. She was looking through that folder for a few minutes before giving my boyfriend his ID and card back. I can only imagine how many people went and was never given their card back. The staff was walking around helping other people who are white and ignored myself and my boyfriend as well as the black and hispanic couple next to our table. The staff will talk amongst themselves and laugh behind the bar and by the registers. The table we were seated at had a call help button. The staff saw me press this button multiple times and still ignored me. I heard their work devices ring every time i pressed the button and I was still ignored. Please DO NOT waste your money on this establishment if you are black or hispanic. They WILL discriminate against you. My review is not the only review that mentions this behavior. Also, in the women's bathroom there are 3 stalls. Two out of three stalls were out of order. The bathroom smelled like musty toilet water. There was a little bit of toilet paper in that one stall and no napkins in the bathroom. My experience here was horrible and I regret coming here. read more

Constantly littering in the street during the night; your business takes out trash and disposes of it incorrectly. Please buy more receptacles and take care in not littering empty liquor bottles, broken glasses, and other trash items in the street. I constantly come home to my block looking like this because your workers don't take the time to take the trash out through the alleyway properly. read more

Terrible customer service , asked for a table for two and the woman said well we have nothing ‍and shrugged her shoulders She left us to find our own table. After this happened we continued to stay and as we stood we ordered two drinks and zone mozzarella sticks. We got the two drinks after 10 mins however the mozzarella sticks took about 30+ mins to come out. People came in later than us and they served them before they did us. It's giving racist. We will not be coming back here and if you're a colored/brown person wouldn't recommend this place. read more

I will be honest here, I have been coming to play billiards here for over 10 years even when the old place was here. Somewhat of a regular. I can say that it has always been a great hangout spot and I honestly love what they have done with the place, however, the service could and should be improved, massively. I came in on a holiday to play pool and mistakenly took the wrong table (adjacent to the one I was assigned), the guy at the front walked up to me and spoke to me as if he was chastising a child and slammed the pool ball holder on the table. Listen you could have the best ambience inside, decent prices and decent food, but there is no reason to be nasty for an honest mistake. Just to clarify the place was not packed at all. read more
