I couldn't be happier that I kept searching for the right surgeon for me. Years ago, I had my original surgery with Dr. Prescott (at the same clinic Dr. Eberlin now leads). From consultation to post-op care, I had zero complaints. Fast forward 18 years - my results were still amazing with no issues at all. I simply decided I wanted to switch from saline to silicone. I was sad to hear Dr. Prescott had retired, so I consulted with two other surgeons - one of whom came highly recommended in Folsom. Unfortunately, I didn't feel confident moving forward. Both told me they would need to create a new incision under my breast for the implant exchange. I asked why we couldn't go through my original incision (which is barely visible along my lower areola line), and they said reopening it wasn't a good idea and wasn't even an option. When I met Dr. Eberlin, everything changed. I was immediately relieved when I asked where the new incision would need to be, and without hesitation he said we could use my existing incision. He explained that I had healed beautifully and that areolar incisions are known to heal very well and offer natural camouflage compared to the 3-4 inch incisions that some surgeons still make under the breast. He also uses the Keller Funnel technique, something many top surgeons use - which allows for a "no-touch" implant placement. This reduces the risk of bacterial contamination and, in my case, allowed him to go through my original incision. That was incredibly important to me. If you're considering this procedure, I would highly recommend watching videos on how the Keller Funnel works. Unless you are choosing extremely large implants, in my opinion it's a much better approach than creating a larger incision under the breast. From the moment I left my consultation, I knew I would proceed with him. I never felt pressured or rushed. It felt like a thoughtful, genuine conversation. He gave his professional opinion when I asked, but ultimately empowered me to decide on the size and approach that felt right for me. On surgery day, he came in to speak with me beforehand and made sure I felt completely comfortable. Again, no rushing - just calm, confident care. Beyond his technical skill, he is simply a kind and caring human being. You can tell he truly loves what he does and is passionate about his work. I am beyond happy and so grateful I found him. I was researching doctors for a cosmetic procedure. I had gone to two doctors, one in Palo Alto and one in Danville. Nothing wrong with either of these doctors but a friend told me about Dr. Ebelin so I decided to go to him for a consultation. From the moment I called for a consultation, Sheila was so helpful and friendly. My consultation with Dr. Eberlin was comfortable and took the time to ask me what I wanted to have done instead of pushing a bunch of procedures. He really listened to what I wanted and my concerns since I had never done anything like this before. For years I have been trying to find an effective way to treat my cellulite and everything that was on the market didn't quite convince me to move forward. This is the worst experience by far I've hear had with a doctors. Golden Hills Plastic Surgery Center is not a vet caring facility. Dr. Seth Eberlin has the worst bedside manners, quick and uneasy post op appointments I've ever encountered. After my surgery on May 23rd of 2022 I never received a phone call from Dr. Eberlin asking how I was, no after care calls even a week later, actually never received a call not even once. Absolutely nothing. Where I wanted and asked for lipo was my stomach area mostly and it's practically still the same. So unhappy and disappointed with my results. I ended up in the ER recently after I had a bad plastic surgery experience. My cheek implants got infected snd I'll be honest, it was a nightmare. I can't even begin to explain how terrifying that kind of body horror is :( I got very lucky, there was plastic surgeon (dr Eberlin) who happened to be there who was going to be doing work on someone else in the hospital, and thankfully my er dr had the humility, grace and common sense to refer to the Dr Eberlin for his opinion. I was booked into surgery the next day. I'm 8 days post op and the infection I got from the original surgery is still really tough going, I have a pic line and everything. I feel a big difference in how I'm healing this time vs my first surgery and I was so grateful to get those things out of me!! I'm very fortunate because if there had been no plastic surgeon there it may have been a more difficult surgery. It's all been very traumatic but I seem to be on the healing track and my face is finally going back to normal This is my five star review of an exhausted plastic surgeon (I believe I was his third surgery that day) who took me on as an emergency case and helped to save me from a dire situation. Dr Prescot originally preformed my breast implant surgery 14yrs ago and did a great job! I have been wanting to go back to switch from saline to gel and potentially go a little bigger for a fuller look. Dr. Eberlin is not a perfectionist! He really likes that word and throws it into his sales pitch often! I had major surgery from him in April 2021. Four months later I came back to his office and he agreed with me that is was not the results that we wanted. After paying another fee for anesthesiology and Another fee for the surgical room which I feel since he shares with John Muir he should've paid himself, I had the second surgery ( revision done) to fix the problem. I asked him so many times do you guarantee that I will have what I'm looking for and he said yes! I am so unhappy with the outcome it makes me sick! I avoid the mirror as much as possible. I went back months later and his answer to me was that he did the best he could and he never promises anything!!!! I went back to him again just to see what he had to say I would never have let him touch me again ! I avoid the mirror at all costs and again I am so sad and disappointed. Stay away from Dr. Eberlin! If you really read his five star reviews these five stars are for Botox and for treatments that are not invasive!! Do your due diligence ! I had not done mine and I'm so sorry that I didn't. If I could give less than one star to this "surgeon" I would. He is inexperienced and over priced. He himself said that another surgeon in LA told him if you charge higher prices people will think you are better qualified. I waited for a year after surgery to see the final results...worse every month! I went to another plastic surgeon to see if I could get his botched attempt fixed and was told that what he did was not able to be corrected. Even more depressing was that I was told the way he did the procedure was unnecessary and I shouldn't have the awful scarring that I do. Dr. Seth was there on one of the scariest days of my life. I ended up in the ER with lacerations under my eye due to an accident. From the minute he walked into the ER, I knew I was in good hands. He made me feel at ease, reassured me that everything was going to be ok, and had me laughing while he put my eye back together. I was pretty beat up, to say the least, and it took a good 3 weeks for the all the scabs to fall off of my face. When I was finally able to see the scars, I cried. These were tears of joy...the scar lines were so MINIMAL I could hardly believe it. This surgeon is TALENTED and has the ability to sow up the most difficult of wounds with minimal scarring. The weeks following, I had two follow-up visits with Dr. Seth, and I really appreciated the patience and attention as he answered all my questions with care. His office staff (I believe her name is Sheila, I'm so sorry if I have this wrong) was amazing too. She knew how distressed I was, and she made it a priority to get me in to see Dr. Seth promptly on both occasions. I am so grateful to Dr. Seth. Minimal scar brachioplasty - partial arm lift. I had read about this procedure online where usually with an arm lift you end up with a long scar from the elbow to the armpit, with this one, there is just a scar in the armpit. Dr. Seth explained carefully that the result was not going to be as radical as the full arm lift, but since that long scar was non-negotiable for me, the minimal scar option was what I chose. Dr. Seth was extremely thorough and very patient answering every question until I was satisfied. The surgery went very smoothly with the excellent staff at their in house center. Regular monitoring and recommendation to use Embrace scar therapy resulted in the quick healing and reduced scarring, which is completely invisible unless my arms are up in the air and I have a sleeveless top on. I highly recommend Dr. Seth - he studied in LA where he learned the most current techniques and cutting edge procedures. (Pun intended.) I had an excellent experience with Dr. Eberlin! I am 27 & had been thinking about beginning botox for a while now and constant thoughts of, but have been nervous to, getting a chin implant. I live in New York City but when my best friend from college living in SF raved about Dr. Eberlin I figured my face was worth the trip. He made me feel extremely comfortable discussing any and all cosmetic concerns. He has a motto: "if it doesn't bother you, don't fix it" versus giving a critical assessment informing what all could make you look aesthetically better as NYC doctors I consulted with did. We decided that for my needs, it was best to do botox that would allow for expression just short of making the wrinkles and do a sort of "test drive" of the chin implant with fillers. I was so comfortable and confident with everything we decided on that I moved forward right then and there. Dr. Eberlin made me feel very comfortable throughout. He explained everything as he did it. I was out the door and to lunch right on time. I'm a bit obsessive so I of course thought of additional questions after lunch and popped back into the office. I generally don't write reviews, good or bad. However, I definitely felt the need to share my experience with Dr Eberlin. He is absolutely AMAZING!! He's so attentive, kind and extremely personable! In fact, when you first meet him, he introduces himself as Dr Seth which immediately makes you feel at ease and makes you feel like you've known him for years! I went to Dr Eberlin about possibly fixing some issues I had with a previous plastic surgeon who did my original bbl last year. Long story short about my first PS, after 2 separate semi successful bbl procedures, and a whole lot of money later, he just couldn't deliver the results I was looking for which was more fullness on one side to make things more symmetrical and the all mighty projection. Desperate for better results, I decided to see a different PS to get a 2nd opinion and that's when I found Dr Eberlin! The best decision ever!! The consultation went great!
