I knew I needed a face lift. I had put it off for too long and decided to go in and see Dr. Prescott. The doctor and his staff were knowledgeable and supportive. Dr. Prescott took pictures and showed me what he could do on a computer program. He answered my questions and I knew he was the doctor I wanted. I studied his computer site and read his patients' comments. I felt prepared. The procedure was done in his comfortable surgery center. The doctor and staff were all very professional. I had no post op problems. Generally I felt very little pain. I spent three weeks healing as expected. After 3 weeks I went to a dinner dance. No one knew I had just had my face done. I couldn't believe how good I felt. My family and friends say I look 10-20 years younger. I am happy and can't believe the image looking back at me in the mirror. Botox I love it! I bought a living social for a day spa who provided botox but after hearing from a friend that she looked like a caveman when she went there, I decided to skip the living social and go to a plastic surgeon- who knows the face and all the muscles in the face. Its been 10 days since I had the Botox from Dr. Prescott and it looks amazing!! Dr. Prescott's bedside manner is so caring and not pushy at all. Long story short Dr. Prescott botched me. Implants were placed 1inch bellow collar bone. He did a hideous job. For 1 year I was miserable. After procedure I was not fully awake nurse pulled me out of bed stood me up gave me a shot in my thigh and wheeled me out in a wheelchair. I was sleeping this whole time! That nightmare cost me $9,500. I had to spend another $13,400 to a different surgeon to FIX Prescott's botched job. My advice to you is Don't waste your money here go to a board certified plastic surgeon that is up to date on skills and technique. Prescott is dated. In response to your reply Prescott, money was no issue. After you botched me , I had my surgery corrected I had the implants that you put in replaced w/lift and NO scars. Something you weren't able to offer. Who wants to have scars??? You did not go over anything in detail with me. You want to talk detail what you did to me was opposite from the picture I showed you. When I went in for my post op with you, you assured me the implants would drop. I had to go get 2 second opinions from other doctors and they both told me the implants were a cohesive gel implant that would NEVER drop. I was literally chocking on them. For a whole year until I had my surgery corrected I never wore shirts that did not cover my chest/necklace area. The doctors were so shocked at the job you did they wanted to know who I went to! It took me 10 years of on again, off again searching to find a plastic surgeon I felt I could trust. What impressed me about Dr. Prescott was 1) his front office staff are all still human, not overdone Barbie dolls . this told me he cared about realistic aesthetics, not just doing as much as possible; 2) I asked about a less invasive procedure and he refused to offer it, saying I would not be happy with the results. He would rather turn away business than do a procedure that would not produce good results; 3) He answered all my questions and explained everything very clearly; 4) this was the deal maker - he showed me, using PhotoShop, what I could expect; 5) he and his staff never pushed me or tried to "close" me. They gave me the information and let me make a decision. I made the decision 3 days later and scheduled my surgery. I am now 4 months post-surgery and the results are even better than I had hoped for, yet I still look like myself. A big key is in doing EXACTLY what I was told. I iced when he said to ice. I used the compression wrap exactly as directed, I massaged the areas to reduce swelling when told to do so. The only thing I did not do as instructed was to stay home from work for 3 weeks. By 5 days I returned to the office. I felt fine, I didn't look totally awful (even that soon after surgery!) The before and after shots are amazing. I had seen several surgeons for consultations for cosmetic surgery. By far, Dr Prescott was the most thorough in his examination and explanations, very informative, and attentive to my questions and concerns. He seemed genuinely interested in giving me all the information I needed to make a good decision. It didn't hurt that a friend of mine who had a lot of experience getting "work" done said he was the best she had ever gone to. To be totally honest, I was more than a little anxious about having my upper & lower eyelids done but I knew it was something I had wanted to do for decades! So I went for it. Even through the swelling the day after surgery, I could see the improvement in my appearance immediately. Several days post-op I noticed a little bump forming along a scar line & Dr Prescott had me come in that same day, even though I suspect he knew by my description that it was nothing to worry about. It was nothing after all, but it was so reassuring to have him acknowledge my concerns and talk to me face to face about it and what I could expect as the healing continued. He was just wonderful. A month and a half post-op, I went in for my hair appointment & my stylist could not believe how tiny and unnoticeable the scars were. She said she had seen women who were 6 months post-op whose scars were not as pale and thin as a hair as mine were after just 6 weeks. I knew I was healing well but I had no idea my scars were so tiny and pale compared to most. Well, it's been 3 months since surgery and OMG! My eyes were never this beautiful even in my teens and twenties! I can hardly believe how lovely my eyes are! And with each passing week I'm astonished how I keep looking younger & younger. Every case is different to be sure. And ALL surgeries run risks and can have varying degrees of success. So if your planning on having cosmetic surgery, do your research thoroughly, weigh the risks carefully and pray! He takes photos of your face while in the office so he can show you on the computer what is possible to achieve. He doesn't promise anything he can't deliver. Dr. Prescott burned my face SO badly, my entire house smelled of the fluid (you KNOW the gross word!) that came seeping from my wounds. IF you saw the photo's you would be ill. I was in such pain for over a month! I went to his office with a hood over my dripping face! He said it was NORMAL! He told me PRIOR to the harsh chemical he applied, "My wife and mother-in-law had the procedure, they went out in a week." HE COMPLETELY LIED! He has NO compassion and said there was no pain medication for such pain. I truly contemplated suicide. I was embarrassed that I let a human being do this to me. I went to Dr. Prescott 11 years ago for a breast augmentation. I have sent a handful of friends and family members to him because his work is impeccable. 11 years later, I have had zero issues. My breasts look completely natural. I went from having a very flat chest, couldn't even fit into an A cup and went to a D. I couldn't be any happier with my results! Dr Prescott is nothing short of an artist. I had a breast reduction 3 weeks ago, 8/17. All of my experiences with Dr Prescott and his staff have been easy and comfortable. The office staff has been helpful and kind at every appointment. As soon as I met Dr Prescott I felt confident in my choice. He was very thorough, detailed and answered every question I had with patience. I started out a 38G, I'm not really sure my exact size yet but I honestly don't care because they are so pretty and perky! I'm guessing I will be a 38D, I'm still a little swollen. I asked to keep them at least a D and I am so happy with the results. There are always going to be scars with a breast reduction but I can say mine will be minimal! Most of the scars will not be visible but on the ones that will be, the lines are so straight and thin that they too will be barely noticeable. The operating experience was comfortable as well. He does the procedures in the same building as his office, the familiarity is comforting. My post surgery experience was standard. I had been advised on what to expect so I had no surprises. I live 3+ hours from the Bay Area so I chose to stay in a hotel the night of surgery. Dr Prescott personally called me that evening to make sure I was doing well and answer any questions I had. I have received many compliments on my eyes, but none on the facelift. I was disappointed that no improvement is seen in the marionette lines, even though I was promised a 40% reduction. Also, the skin on my neck is now wrinkled when it never was before. However, my greatest complaint is how I was treated before and after the surgery by his nurse. She was rude, impatient, and insensitive. One of his office staff behaved similarly. When I brought this to his attention, Dr. Prescott seemed concerned, but then minimized my feelings. Went to see Dr Prescott for an opinion. His staff was friendly but without the elaborate pretense one finds in other offices. Very efficient and clear scheduling process. More importantly, Dr Prescott was genuine, friendly, interested and took the time to discuss my situation with me in a real and individualized way. All the plastic surgeons advertise that they do this, but I can just say that I previously consulted with a very popular (perhaps the most popular) Pacific Heights plastic surgeon and the experience between her office and Dr Prescott was like night and day (her being the night and him being the day). While she was competent, there was no denying that she made one feel like she would rather be somewhere else and she spent alot less time and always seemed rush, harried, or both. I think the bottom line is that people can tell if you are just going thru the motions or are genuinely paying attention.
