This has been my go to dentist. They are simply the best. Dr Saddiq is super nice and informative and his assistant Liz explained everything that was going on during my time there to make me feel super comfortable. I HATE going to the dentist, but Dr Rosen and his team makes going to the dentist less scary. So far here I've had 2 teeth extracted and am currently in the process of getting a crown put on. If you would like a horrific dental experience, go to A Family Dental Care Center. I went to them months ago with tooth pain and they performed a root canal on that tooth. I paid in full and on time for the root canal. Today I had an issue with that same tooth and I recalled Dr. Yasir Siddique (who performed my root canal) telling me "If you have any issues with that tooth, please call US back so we can help you out." I took this as kind and genuine customer service, but it was a total ploy. I went in today with pain to that tooth, got an appointment scheduled, sat in the chair, had a tech come over and eliminate the issue, all within a span of 2 minutes. Sounds good, right? Nope. This office is in the business of price gouging you for services at every turn. I was told multiple times to get an X-ray of the tooth that I had an issue with "to make sure it was not part of the problem". I declined the X-ray, thankfully. I then went to the front of the office where they told me I would be charged for the service today. After pleading with the people at the front of the office, they asked Dr. Siddique if they could waive the fee from today's visit. He told them no, because the appointment today had nothing to do with the tooth... but I thought he wanted me to get an X-ray to make sure it was not the tooth... Which one is it? Save your time and money and go somewhere that cares about you and your health, not just what is in your wallet. read more

I love my dentist!!! I just got Invisalign after years of hemming and hawing. He used a digital scanner, no icky impressions. I was able to see a simulator and immediately loved what could be done. The best was the price! I was expecting thousands and thousands. It was only !1999, and included whitening! I've had a lot of work done over the years, but I still look forward to my visits. I've had better experiences at the ticket counter at the DMV. Not only was this perhaps the worst dentist visit ive ever had, but it was also off the charts expensive. I walked into this seedy, outdated office - fine - whatever. I'm here to get my teeth cleaned, not critique the decorum of a 30 year old hole in the wall. But put out a magazine, man. The place smells like one giant litter box that's been neglected one day past expiration. So I walked in without a human being in sight. After about 5 minutes, a woman who appeared to be playing the role of a receptionist appeared and begrudgingly checked me in. I get it, everyone has those days, but try not to act like it's such a chore to ask me my name and birthday. Finally make it into one of the 3 rooms he has, where i sit for probably 45 minutes. Keep in mind, there's not a single other person here. So I'm waiting and waiting and waiting....I honestly probably could have made it to the kissing scene in titanic if I started when I sat down. The dentist comes in as if he's in a hurry. His demeanor is that of a pitcher in a blowout game whos desperately trying to signal to the dougout that he needs to be pulled. You could just tell this guy was somewhere else... a little disconcerting. He spends maybe 2 minutes examining me and then says "looks good" then walks out. $325! STAY AWAY, PLEASE! And remember, it costs nothing to be nice! read more

Dr Rosen and his staff are Awesome! He always makes me feel comfortable, and at ease. He has a funny, relaxing personality, and his hygienists are all very comforting and competent. He's been seeing me for 10+ years, and I've never had a bad experience. The office is clean and modern, with state of the art equipment. Any time I've needed help for an unexpected problem, they were always able to fit me in, even if it meant staying late, or coming in early. Admittedly, I'm not a big fan of going to the dentist, but A Family Dental Care Center makes it as pleasurable experience as it can possibly be! Dr. Rosen is THE best dentist around. I have an unnatural fear of dentists after bad experiences and found him last year. I was having issues with my dental insurance but had a terrible toothache. He took me immediately (and stayed late to wait for me, might I add). Both him and his staff are so welcoming, funny, and really care about the patients. Fast forward a year and I had gotten new dental insurance so unfortunately changed offices. I had a tooth extracted three weeks ago which turned into three weeks of agony. By this Sunday I was headed to the emergency room due to a high fever and nausea. Monday morning I knew who I had to go see; I chose to come to Dr. Rosen despite it not being an office "in network". At this point, I just wanted good care. He would not let me leave his office in the state I was in. He really listens to his patients and figures out how to help them with their problems - whether it's your teeth, fear of him, dental insurance, etc. It's nice to find a medical professional that connects with their patients. No matter what dental insurance I have moving forward, this will be my dentist!!! read more

Nobody likes going to the dentist and good dentists are hard to find. That is why I come from the Washington DC area to see Dr. Rosen. Dr. Rosen and his staff are very professional. I, like many others, have a huge fear of going to the dentist and they always make me feel comfortable. Dr. Rosen always explains everything and I don't feel like he recommends any services that I don't need (I have gone to other dentists that i feel like don't understand I am on a budget). I have to also mention that the office is really nice and doesn't have the typical feel of a dentist office. Feels more like you are hanging out in the Rosen's living room. Good dentists are hard to find, it seems. I've been a patient of Dr Rosen for a few years now, and I absolutely REFUSE to see anyone else. The office is easy to get to; an absolute gem. Always good parking. Never a complaint there. The office anterior is very warm and welcome, feels less like and office and more like a living room. Nice artwork and current reading materials accent the clean welcoming space. The ample waiting area is very conducive to occupying children of all ages without losing that mature feel that is sure to comfort any who walk in the door. The exam area is clean, clean, clean. The tools are well-kept and current. The staff is vibrant and cheerful. The difference maker always is knowing my name, and they never disappoint. It makes me feel good to be called by name and not a file label. A very personal feel. As for Dr Rosen, the man is an artist. I have had a lot of work done, ranging from simple fillings to full-on root canals, and I cannot find a complaint. As a matter of fact, I had a broken tooth extracted recently, and I awoke pain-free the next morning. Dr Rosen is everything you could want in a caregiver -- thorough, meticulous, gentle, knowledgeable, and a great sense of humor. I never felt as though I did not have a choice in my care, which is important to me. Dr Rosen has always observed and diagnosed, presented options, and then made sound recommendations. The ultimate choice, however, has always been my own. Comfort seems to be the theme here, and from the physical amenities, to the cheerfulness of the staff, all the way up to Dr Rosen's constant reassurance, dental visits at this office are always a pleasure. Worst Dentist I have ever been too. 1. They made me wait 2 hrs before seeing. 2. After he saw me, he decided to extract two of my teeth. He zipped through it without going through any precautionary measures, how I may feel later etc. 3. No antibiotics were prescribed and later I developed dry socket and this Dr had no time to see me again. My advice is avoid this dentist at all cost. Worst treatment and experience. read more

Dr. Rosen is absolutely spectacular. I initially chose him because of the convenient location, and he takes our dental insurance (MetLife), my two main criteria. My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Rosen's since 2004, and now I am also taking my son (3yo) to him. His office is super-clean, which I greatly appreciate. His hygenists are always friendly and efficient, and I feel like I get a great cleaning and exam there. There are lots of toys and books in the waiting area for children - while he may not be a "pediatric dentist" per se, I would not hesitate to recommend him to someone needing a dentist for their children. He made my son's first appointment very easy, and they have a great treasure chest the kids can pick a toy from when they're done. Another thing I appreciate - they keep to their appointment schedule. I usually try and go early in the morning, but my husband typically takes an afternoon appointment and has never had an issue with them running late. Love love LOVE Dr. Rosen. read more

Dr Rosen is the best dentist in the whole world! I had a horrible problem with a tooth that was really mistreated by my previous dentist. Long story short, they told me that I was brushing my teeth too hard and that the pain I was having was my own fault. Dr Rosen identified the problem and fixed my tooth! Fantastic experience! I just moved to this area and had a slight dental emergency- I was able to get into see Dr. Rosen very quickly (could have been quicker if my schedule would have cooperated!) and I was super happy to see what following the excellent Yelp reviews was a good choice. When my husband and I moved to the area years ago, we looked around at the various dentists' offices and decided Dr. Rosen's office seemed like the best option. We figured we would know after a visit or two if it was worth returning. It was definitely the right choice. Dr. Rosen was (and still is) funny, warm, welcoming and an excellent dentist. The combination is rare and it makes going to the dentist enjoyable (odd but true). After several years, the experience is still one I highly recommend. The office is very clean but has a cozy feel to it. Unlike most medical offices, it seems like someone sat in the waiting room chairs before they bought them. Everyone in the office has the same good sense of humor and is very professional so you're in good hands regardless of the chair you sit in. Scheduling is easy, they run on time, his staff is kind and friendly, the hygienists do an excellent job thoroughly cleaning my teeth, and Dr. Rosen is the most down to earth dentist you'll ever meet. Its a working day folks , you should tell people if you are running late. if the patient cancels you charge them $50. if the patient waits for an hour do you intend to compensate them?? Dr. Rosen and his staff are absolutely amazing. I have had traumatizing experiences with not-so-great dentists in the past, so I was not very hopeful when I started my search for a new one. And not only was I terrified, but also embarrassed because I was so afraid to go to another dentist that I had let my teeth get to a point where they needed quite a bit of work, and I had no choice but to try to find a new dentist. I read a bunch of amazing reviews about Dr. Rosen online, so I decided to take a chance and made an appointment.... and very much to my surprise... I actually look forward to going to the dentist now! Is that ridiculous or what? It still boggles my mind a little. Dr. Rosen and his staff are absolutely incredible. They are professional and personable, which is incredible to me that they can make me feel so comfortable. But most importantly, it puts my mind at ease to know that I can trust Dr. Rosen implicitly to give me the absolute best dental care I could ever hope for. He always seems to be on the cutting edge of the latest and greatest technology. He explains in full detail the course of action he feels is most appropriate for my dental health and why... yet I still make the ultimate decision. He won't do any procedure that he doesn't believe will be in your best interest... but he also won't do something that you're not comfortable with, I never feel pressured. And when I come to him with questions and concerns, he addresses each and every one of them and gives me a ton of options of what we can do. I have had quite a bit of work done over the past year, mostly over the last few months... and still have a little ways to go. In fact, I have another appointment coming up in a few weeks that I can't wait for, because I know I will walk out of his office one step closer to having my perfect smile back. And as a singer who is always getting my picture taken when I'm on stage, that's something so incredibly important to me :) I rarely ever write reviews, and given a history of awful dental experiences, believe me when I tell you I never thought I'd see the day where I'd recommend a dentist... which is why I felt it was so important to share this review. I cannot rave enough about Dr. Rosen, he is absolutely the BEST OF THE BEST. I went in to see Dr. Rosen with severe pain in my lower right side. I have had an extremely high dental phobia from a bad experience as a kid and let the problem go for far longer than I should have. His staff helped put me at ease initially and i ended up needing a tooth taken out and an implant which really scared me. He left me with no questions unanswered and a little valium made the whole process that much easier for me. It took quite some time to get all of my dental needs in order but after about a year of treatment i have a brand new smile i wouldn't trade for the world. highly recommend especially if you were as chicken as I was to make an initial appointment! read more

If you read my previous review, you are reading the writings of a pain in incredible pain. As I am writing this, I am just about pain free, thanks to Dr. Rosen. The nite that harsh review was posted, Dr. Rosen called me personally at 10:15 pm to say that he had seen the review, and would like to try to fix what had happened to me. He explained his position, explained that ct scans aren't an absolute rule when placing posts. He also said that the tooth was not placed on a nerve, but the pain was caused by an infection in the post that caused the most pain. How I got the infection, who knows. He also stands by the fact that two posts are completely viable, but one had to come out. We agreed to meet at his office and he invited me to bring my wife, who was hopping mad and ready to strangle Dr. Rosen. Very brave of him, I thought. Anyway, my wife and I did go to his office again 48 hours later. We spoke at length; Dr. Rosen spent a great deal of time with us, explaining his position on things. He was pretty mortified by the entire situation and upset with my whole experience. He gave me the choice to either give him another shot, or go to anyone else I chose, but everything would be paid for completely by him, whichever I chose. He said he just wanted to "make me whole again". After we met, I allowed him to take the bad post out, which was painful, really painful. But as soon as the post was removed, the healing began. I wasn't looking for a freebie, by any means, but I also didn't want to pay for services that weren't performed correctly, either. There was no charge for that visit, and he has agreed to pay my $150.00 emergency room visit, the $100.00 second opinion I got, and any other charges that I've incurred from this ordeal, not to mention his offer to perform all my work gratis. He has since followed up with numerous phone calls to check on my well-being. This is the dentist I had hoped for from the beginning, but I say, better late than never. I have to say my confidence is restored in Dr. Rosen's professionalism, and since my mouth feels so much better, his dental abilities as well. Even though he has given me the choice to go elsewhere, I do believe Dr. Rosen is the man to do the job, and will go forward with him doing all the work. And it's not because he offered it for no charge- I have the money for the work- it's because I want to give Dr. Rosen a fair shake. I don't know if anyone really cares about my story, but when this is all over and complete, I'll get on yelp and finish my story. I'm hoping for a happy ending, and am optimistic I'm going to get it. read more
