I was able to get in right away after speaking with the amazingly friendly and helpful Office Manager, Roseann. She's full of life and will put a smile on your face the second you meet her! I had an appointment first thing in the morning, and let me tell you, I never once felt rushed or pushed out the door. In fact, I spent so much time there I felt like I was hanging out with friends. Brooke the hygienist was super friendly and so knowledgeable. Unlike the previous dentist offices I've been too, this time I felt they had my utmost best interest in mind and explained everything to me. All the concerns I went in there with quickly subsided. Within two visits I had a cleaning, checkup and night guard all done. I even ended up buying a new fancy electric toothbrush there because it was $50 cheaper than any store, and it even had an additional $30 rebate. Dr. Wertheimer was friendly, intelligent and really took the time to explain to me the issues that were found and the best course of action to get them solved. I never felt pressured into anything and was happy to have been given multiple options. This is somewhere I look forward to going back to!

I had cleaning every 6 months or a yearly, I had X-rays when they said I was due. No one said I had a cavity or any issue with my teeth. In 2026 I was there for a routine cleaning and when the dentist came in, he said I needed to replace that same crown. I asked him why? it's not that old? He said it's not fitting correctly. I called the office and asked them to send me the x-rays. I told her my problem and she suggested I have a consultation with the owner, which I did a couple days later after that cleaning. He said I have a cavity under that crown. I asked why didn't your dentist tell me that, I was just here a couple days ago. He said he will talk to him. I question if I have a cavity there, I really do! The office called me and said the the owner would discount a price of a new crown and charge $420. He did not take responsibility that the crown was not put in properly in 2023. It was nothing I did or didn't do. When I got home I spoke to my husband, who is a retired dentist, he looked at the x-rays and said if I have a cavity there it is likely due to the open margin of the crown. He said it was not seated correctly. My insurance will not pay for a crown that is 3 years old. I would not go back to that office now even he said he will replace it at no charge. One doc said nothing about a cavity, two days later another doc said I have a cavity!! I lost my trust in them. I rather pay elsewhere and have it done correctly. They lost me and my uncle as patients.

Sitting in the dentist chair gives me a lot of anxiety, but since becoming a patient at Horsham Dental Care, my experience has been completely different. Over the past year I've worked with several hygienists and technicians, and I recently needed to have three dental crowns, which was more dental work than I've ever had in my life. My anxiety was definitely elevated going into it, but the team made the entire experience much easier than I expected. From the moment you walk in, the entire staff -- reception, hygienists, technicians, and dentists -- are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Just as importantly, they are absolute experts at what they do. They take the time to make sure you are comfortable and are very skilled at minimizing discomfort, which makes a huge difference for someone like me who has dental anxiety. After the initial crown work I did have a temporary crown come off and my tooth was exposed. The office got me in quickly and replaced it right away, which was extremely important. The dentist made sure the new temporary was secure so I could eat normally and comfortably until the permanent crown was ready. That level of responsiveness meant a lot to me. I'm also very impressed with the advanced technology and imaging they use. The scans allow you to instantly see what's going on with your teeth, which removes the guesswork and helps you make informed decisions about your care. One other thing that has really stood out to me is their focus on patient education. I was never very good at flossing -- honestly, I think it's because I was never properly shown how important it was or how to do it effectively. Because of the education and encouragement I received at Horsham Dental Care, I now floss consistently twice a day. The results have been amazing. When I went for my second cleaning, it was obvious to the hygienist that I had been flossing, and my cleaning was noticeably easier and much less uncomfortable. Go figure... it only took 57 years to finally get it right! They appealed to me as they are in walking distance of my house. They did not have online booking available so I had to call to schedule. When I called I was told only the male receptionist could schedule, and the young female frequently had to put the phone down to ask the male receptionist questions (no problem, perhaps she is new.) The office is reasonably clean and located in an older building with a small parking lot, close to downtown North Wales. Prior to my first visit, I provided my insurance information. When I arrived I was provided an estimate for the services (exam & x-rays) on an iPad at the reception desk (though I don't know typical prices so I didn't know what to make of the quotes). I was taken back for initial x-rays (though I'd had some taken within the last year.) After x-rays I met with the dentist, Yuling Liang, DMD. She was friendly and spent a good amount of time reviewing my medical history with me, which I appreciated. She provided her opinion on my x-rays and a course of action to fix a retainer issue I'd been having. After meeting with her, I was surprised to be lead back out to the front to schedule another appointment. I was never told that this initial appointment would be only a consultation and that no services or cleaning would actually be performed. As I work during the week this was l frustrating and disappointing, namely because I didn't know beforehand. Had I known I'd have to come for 2 separate appointments, I likely would have picked another dentist as I do not have the availability to easily schedule 2 dentist appointments in 2 weeks. I also worried whether this would impact the billing on my insurance - i.e. whether it would count for 2 exams and if both would be covered. Nonetheless, I scheduled my actual care appointment for the following week, as I was in need of a repair to my retainer and it was time-sensitive. Upon my return I was told that my insurance had not gone thru and they needed my information again. I did not have it on hand and had to make phone calls to my employer to obtain the information needed. Had I been told of this issue beforehand, I could have resolved it prior to my appointment time. Instead, I cut into my scheduled appointment time to work out an insurance question. Once the insurance was resolved and I was called back, the hygienist who would be cleaning my teeth did not introduce herself and did not ask any initial questions about my brushing habits, or if any teeth were bothering me. I found this off-putting and quite atypical. At the end, I was sad to not receive the typical "goody bag" of a travel toothpaste, floss and toothbrush. I can't recall ever going to a dentist without getting some swag! At the end of the day, Abbella is conveniently located to me personally, but my experience was not what I was hoping for. When I inquired about coming in for the service I was notified they were booked solid for the remainder of the month. FYI... teeth whitening is done on Mondays only. Advanced Dental was gracious enough to get me in for an early February appointment and honored the Jan special price. They did me a solid and didn't have to!
