This is by far the best beef jerky I have ever eaten. I have been buying it since the early 80s

I would definitely order it again and again and again. The muffin that you are initially served is very tasty and the butter that it comes with I could eat by itself. I love the presentation of each course of the meal. We ended our dinner with the Crème Brûlée. Amazing! If I could give 6 Stars, I would.

The food, service, and atmosphere have been consistently excellent, which is why we keep coming back. The cornbread is hands down the best cornbread I've ever had. It's warm, soft, and incredibly flavorful, and when paired with their house butter, it's absolutely perfect. We loved it so much that we ordered extra to take home and enjoy later. We started with the beef tartare as an appetizer, and it was really good. The combination of the crispy chips and fresh arugula complemented the tartare well and made for a unique and flavorful starter. For my entrée, I ordered the Fancy Burger, and it was just as delicious as I remembered. It was cooked perfectly, juicy, and packed with flavor. The service has been outstanding every time we've visited. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and always helps make the dining experience even better!

I went back in today for some tacos and this visit was better. The same lady was at the counter…read morebut this time she asked if I was ordering and took the order right away as no one else was waiting to order. I grabbed a drink from the fridge and went to pay. Also she asked what kind of salsa I wanted, green of course. The gentleman behind the counter had this smile on his face so I smiled back. This place has good food tacos are good. The marinated chicken is also very good at the meat counter.

Larios Market was recommended to me by a wonderful fellow Yelper. You know who you are. Thank you!…read more I wanted to get guacamole, salsa, and chips for a team potluck lunch. I got rave reviews on these items that they are super good at Larios so here I am to confirm. This market is located at the corner of Barranca Ave and Arrow Highway in Covina. It's actually a meat market, but they sell produce and other food/dry items plus hot foods. It's a very small place with maybe 3-4 tight aisles. I went straight to the refrigeration area. I saw lots of different salsas and a handful of guacamole. At first glance, the appearance of the guac did not look appealing to me. It looked brown and kind of watery at the top. I was hesitant to get them, but since they were recommended, I got 3 of them. Now looking back, I should have only gotten one just to try them. It was not that great IMHO. Maybe they were not made that day and have been hanging around for a day or so. However, the roasted red salsa was really really good... I would highly recommend this one. Pico de gallo was decent. Crab ceviche was just okay... too much of the V8 taste. I ended up buying 6 containers and spent over $50 on guac and salsa. Probably more than I need. I didn't bother with the chips as they look more on the oily side. Anyway, staff was nice and helpful. Check out was fast as it wasn't super busy at the time. Parking is limited. They do have a few tables and stools outside in front of the market for those who want to eat here after their food purchase. I'm not sure if I would come back for the guac, but I may come back for the roasted red salsa and possibly their tacos and burritos.

After browsing and checking on the pricing. The pricing appeared to be reasonable, slightly expensive. However, that's to be expected. For one, the quality of the Meat. And yes, the economy. Outrageous increase in the cost of Meat. So unfortunate. On my way out, a had great conversation with Alex. His passion and warm personality really set the ambiance. Although, I did not make a purchase, I plan to on my next visit. So yes, I highly recommend to stop in. Again, to support the local and historic community. Thank You for reading

We ended up buying some heart and liver that costs around $10 together. Affordable and competitive pricing for meats and smaller shelf items as well. The layout of the store is great with an awesome logo and just a professional feel to the place while having a butcher shop feel to it. Andrew was very kind and hospitable in helping us find what we need. Tons of parking outside may need to park on street during busier hours. They had a Wagyu steak which was cool to see. Overall, great meat shop in Claremont!

Displayed in a shiny cold case that is expertly manned by a friendly, informative staff, there is every cut of meat...they even have quail if you ask! They also have a deli where you can order huge, hearty, delicious sandwiches (you always want it on ciabatta since white & wheat bread won't be able to handle all the oil & vinegar, pesto, mustard) to go! These are $14 sandwiches but worth it! Our sequence of events: We ordered #4 and #6 Shopped for dinner (ribeyes, filets, asparagus, red bliss potatoes, garlic bread) Picked up our takeout sandwiches Impulsively picked up 2 bags of chips that were near the front Paid for everything at the register Finally got home to enjoy all the delicious foods we got from the Butchery!

I spotted a smoked pork chop, so without hesitation I grab it to try it at home. Can't wait to taste it. When they have promotions, come running to grab your meat!!!! Deals don't last for long. They habla español too!!! Lol This place is close by, plenty of parking, clean inside, and the butcher will help you cut/slice the pieces you want and the thickness of your choice. Great service ~! Sometimes they'll give you free salsas to take home. This has become my regular habit. If you like cooking at home like me playing Chef and Cooks , you should come and try them for yourself! I specifically watched this occur while my order was being prepared, when I asked her if she changed gloves her response was " I have extra gloves here" I asked again if she switched gloves while handling different meats and she said she can re do my trays again. Afterward, I called the store and spoke with a manager named Liz, who told me they had been advised by the health department that employees did not need to change gloves between handling different raw meats. That response was surprising to me. Under the California Retail Food Code, food employees are required to prevent cross contamination of food, and single use gloves must be changed whenever contamination could occur and may not be used for multiple tasks without proper handwashing and glove changes. Specifically, California Health & Safety Code §§ 113961 and 113973 address preventing contamination and the proper use of single-use gloves. Based on what I personally witnessed, I did not feel confident that proper cross-contamination prevention practices were being followed. Separately, my brother became seriously ill after consuming food purchased there and was later diagnosed with a Salmonella infection. I cannot say with certainty where the infection originated, but given what I observed, I felt it was important to share my experience. What makes this especially disheartening is that I genuinely love the food here and have been a customer because of the quality of the products they sell. I wanted to continue supporting this business, but after witnessing these food handling practices and receiving the response I did when I raised my concerns, I no longer feel confident that proper food safety precautions are being followed. I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously and reviews its practices to ensure customer safety.
