Alsways love looking at the meat display. Such great cuts

Alsways love looking at the meat display. Such great cuts This is a go to place for quality meats in Orange County. Typically if I've got any big event coming up and I need to do some cooking and white quality cuts of meat, this is my stop hands-down. Stop by today to grab some barbecue essentials for the Fourth of July. The place was humming. I always appreciate the staff on the counter, they are very open for questions and explain the different qualities and cuts of meats. They were well-stocked for the holiday, with a great variety of choice. Their city hot dogs are some of my favorites to snag. Awesome selection of Brotz and different hamburgers made ready to go for you. You can also find yourself snagging a sandwich there from their deli counter. In addition to all the quality meats everything you need to go with it including your cookware and spices can be found. Today I just happen to need some new seasoning spray for my cast-iron skillet, they had it in stock ready to go. Only time I've ever been sad is when I came here and they were close for a remodel. There were a lot of gentlemen like myself that were disappointed to find that this was closed for a brief moment. That was a few years ago so no worries and I'm telling you you can't go wrong here.

Was looking for steaks to grill and this place definitely came through What I ate: - Classic Italian on ciabatta: As the daughter of a previous deli owner, I had to try, and this hit on my nostalgia big time. Packed FULL of deli meat, crispy shredded iceberg lettuce, full of flavor. This thing is HUGE, plenty to share. What I bought and grilled at home: - Meyer beef prime boneless ribeye: This ribeye was so flavorful and fatty. Between the top sirloin and this, I preferred the ribeye. But ribeye is my favorite cut of steak - Meyer beef prime top sirloin: Super flavorful and surprisingly tender considering it was much leaner than the ribeye Pros: - This little shop is outstanding! It had everything you needed for an amazing cheese/charcuterie board. While meat selection was great, there were so many deli treasures of peruse - Meat was sooooooo goooooood! The choices were outstanding - Shop for an amazing dinner and get yourself a sandwich for lunch - Staff were all very friendly and helpful - I came on a busy day - Easter sunday, but staff was great at helping people out - Plenty of parking Cons: - Good meat is not cheap. I spent way more than I wanted, but it was totally worth it Would I come again? yes

Excellent customer service that is knowledgeable and helpful to make your shopping and cooking experience great! They have nicely arranged areas with lots to choose from: meats, cheeses, sauces, dips, crackers. They are on the far corner next to Mother's Market.

Hands down one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time! I've saved this place for a while but finally had the opportunity to stop by. It's not only a butchery, but also a shop with high quality sauce, spice and everything nice. I placed an order for two sandwiches- the smoked brisket (hot on wheat- 10/10) and the turkey bacon lettuce guac sandwich (hot on ciabatta- 10/10). The brisket (as expected) was heavier than the turkey, but still amazing with the melted smoked gouda. I loved that the brisket was not too salty. While I am not usually a turkey fan, the gentleman suggested that it was one of his favorite as a lighter option. To both my husband's and my surprise- we really enjoyed it! The sandwiches are pricier than other places, but boy, did they taste delicious! Since everything is made fresh to order, we walked around the store and found some other cool things to buy- a rich ramen broth from Japan, sardines from Spain, and white shoyu sauce from Japan. If you're looking for some unique gifts for a foodie friend- this is your place! They, of course, also sell fish/meat/sausages- but we didn't have that in mind this time. For our next visit, we might grab something fresh from them! Easy parking, come by and check it out!

Love this place! It's the only place I can find imported spanish meats in my area. All of their meats are very good quality and their sandwiches are delicious!

The Butchery is a must-stop destination if you're looking for great quality meats and more. After passing by The Butchery multiple times while in the area, my husband and I finally made it a point to stop in. The space is impressive offering a nice selection of meats and cheeses, as well as unique spices, sauces, condiments, and cooking tools to complement one's meat preparation. Although functioning as a butchery, customers can also do some light shopping of the items I just noted, as well as order some sandwiches to go. We ended up placing an order for two sandwiches, and we were pleased with satisfied tummies after devouring them. The Butchery is located in a large shopping center with several other eateries. It's appropriately located adjacent to a grocery store so one could hop over to them to pick up some good quality meat after shopping. As mentioned, my husband and I stopped in to take a look around and ended up ordering two sandwiches for lunch to go. They have several delicious speciality sandwiches you can choose from in the back left side of the store. Details of each sandwich can be found hanging on a neatly, handwritten sign right above the area you place your sandwich orders. At the time we came in, they were super busy, but we were promptly greeted to place our order. It did take a little while to get our sandwiches, but it was no problem since it gave us time to explore the shop in more detail. We ended up finding some pretty unique seasonings and sauces to purchase and try out at home. When we finally unwrapped our sandwiches, they were perfect. We ordered a Classic Italian Sandwich and a Pastrami Sandwich (and swapped halves). Both were obviously made with care (no sloppy assembly), had the perfect amount of filling, and were served nice and warm at the perfect temperature. The Italian had a great selection of Italian meats that complemented each other well and the Pastrami (my favorite out of the two) was like heaven. The grilled onions on the Pastrami Sandwich were like heaven. I would highly recommend. Both sandwiches were soft, in a good way, not dry, and very easy to eat/chew through. We are new fans to The Butchery. We will definitely return to try out a few more sandwiches and do our future meat shopping when in the area.

Love all the various varieties of specialty foods The Butchery carries. They have McConnell's ice cream, these amazing yellow lemon Italian cookies, novelty root beer and an array of meats and cheeses. This is definitely a great spot for a great sandwich or if you're looking to make a charcuterie board.

For an additional cost, you can add meat: prosciutto, salami, Spanish chorizo, or half & half of any two. For paninis, everything I've tried was very good. I've had the Signature which has a double-cream brie, pear slices, mixed greens, and fig jam. Lib Grilled Cheese comes with three premium cheese blend, grilled with olive oil, and minced garlic. Even though each store has a strengths, I feel like overall Bristol Farms is the better of the two. This is speaking as millennial and maybe Bristol Farms serves a more immature crowd. Literally something for everyone their bakery is delicious and of course they have their classic big cookies that are served warm. I haven't had anything from the juice/coffee bar yet, but I will next, however the poke bar and the hot bar, never disappoints and that is why I'm writing this review finally. Today I had a flounder piccata mashed potatoes, perfectly roasted vegetables, and pasta Bolognese with huge chunks of beef. Everything was delicious. The flounder even remained crunchy two hours after leaving the store they don't have the variety in the hot bar that Whole Foods has, however, the quality is far superior, and the flavor is in the upper echelon compared to Whole Foods. These are consistent findings within the self-service food area even within the deli carving station. Sometimes they have turkey briskets. I believe I've even purchased prime rib there and the quality and flavor is always on point consistently the presentation of all of their items never fails either also, every time I go to Bristol Farms you're always greeted with a smile. No eye contact, no greeting and doesn't even say the total $ amount owed. She mindlessly, sloppily dumps the groceries in the bag. The first time I went, she shoved everything into 1 overstuffed bag, so I asked for an extra bag on the side. If I hadn't gotten another bag, it would have ripped. I had to redo everything in the car and noticed the smashed produce and bread in the middle and bottom of the bag. She put all of the other heavier items on top of them including cartons of milk and eggs. This employee has been there the last 3 times I've gone. So I filled out the contact form on the website about the terrible customer service and NEVER received a response. In addition to the awful customer service (only from this 1 employee), several times the produce I bought ended up rotting way too quickly. Their healthcare section just got downsized a lot too. This location has gone downhill! I hadn't been to Sprouts in Brea for a long time, and went there instead this past weekend - more selection, better prices and MUCH better customer service!!
