We came here jet lagged and delirious immediately after our flight from the states. This place is not to be missed! Our server made us laugh and gave great recommendations. The oysters were OUTSTANDING. We did half of the special and half of the regular. I'm glad we did that so we could compare the two, but the specials were astronomically better. A charming and cozy shop with I believe a husband wife duo running the place. Tables are the typical Parisian small tables but they make it work with all the plates! We had both the minis of the seafood starter and kind of made our own seafood tower with the sweet shrimp, oysters, whelks, etc. I think of the whelks as being like sea snails- so now I've had land snails (escargot) and sea snails! And I learned that I really like the sea snails! We got the 2 most popular entrees by the French: the salmon & the mussels. My husband had the salmon and really enjoyed it, and it seemed like the French couple next to us enjoyed theirs, too. The mussels were fresh but I think the flavor is very subtle, as I had lobster bisque but it didn't really taste like lobster bisque that I'm used to - it's definitely more on the wine-y side. My husband and I visited Seulement Sea and loved it. The owner takes care of all the tables but is friendly and helpful even when busy. We enjoyed the oysters. They are much better than our East/West coast oysters in the US. We followed with two types of mussels. Highly recommend the red curry. Cute small little restaurant focusing on seafood. I came during lunchtime for their lunch menu and it was well worth the price. For starters, entree and dessert, it was 25 euros. They served some bread and crostini with a seafood sauce. For starters, it was a type of white fish with mashed potatoes, and the entree was mussels with white wine and dessert was creme brûlée. Overall good but not great. Good fries but mussels with cream were a little bland. Salmon rillettes were excellent but the cauliflower soup starter was, despite no mention of if, chock full of broccoli. I know Dubarry soup is supposed to be a cauliflower cream soup but I'm pretty sure the overwhelming ingredient is not broccoli. Though she loves cauliflower my wife dislikes broccoli so we ended up changing starters. She loved her scallop special and pretty cool that they offer half portions of desserts. Ambiance is typical small cafe and the service was functional (though it did take an astronomically long time to get our main plates as they somehow served us our starters, cleared the plate and then tried to serve us new plates of the starters before realizing and then admitting that the server had sent the order to the cooks twice). Located really close to the Odeon stop on the 4 so convenient though located in a pretty comatose area of the Left Bank. Overall totally fine but not worth a second trip read more

The reviews for this place are overwhelmingly good. Like "best restaurant ever" good. That wasn't our experience. It's a small shop that has a cute interior and a friendly enough staff who spoke excellent English. They ran out of daily specials, which is fine, so we ordered some oysters, mussels and the sea bream and scallops. Too much food, for sure, but we wanted to try a lot of the offerings. Everything was bland. That's really the only way to say it. The mussels lacked flavor, really almost no flavor honestly. The sea bream was cooked well, as were the scallops, but neither had much flavor. It just felt as if everything was muted. Maybe it's because I'm from Boston and we have access to incredible seafood any time we want but this wasn't it for us. Absolutely not a bad place but I'd not go out of my way to come here. Wonderful find close to the Luxembourg garden thanks to my Yelp camarades. I had the moules frites avec crème and they were delicious. The café douce gave me the chance to taste three mini desserts: an il flottant with caramel sauce and custard, chocolate mousse and a panacotta with raspberry sauce. I had the fried smelts for appetizers and an entire sea bream for my main entree. The server/owner de-boned it himself. A beurre blanc lemon sauce came with the fish to the side. It was heaven. The sides were sautéed potatoes and mushrooms. I tried the ile flottante (floating island or cloud) for dessert. It is soft meringue with almonds and salted caramel. This is a true find! After shopping in the area, decided it was time for dinner and found this wonderful restaurant on The Fork. My starter of the sea bass and mango tartare was absolutely heavenly bursting with sweet mango and cool salty flavors. A definite get for those visiting! For my plat I had the moules a la Thai. This sweet, engaging intimate restaurant epitomizes what a dedicated, food-loving, customer-focused husband-wife team can do, even in a major city like Paris. Owner Julian said it best: "This place won't make me rich but I love being here and creating something good, reasonable and maybe even a bit unexpected for our customers." And that's what he and his wife and their team do for sure. As the name says, it's all about fish - I think they may have one or two non-poisson items on the menu - fresh, clean, simply but beautifully prepared. My whole sea bass was simple elegance -- nothing fancy but so damned good! Wife's "gin & honey Gravlax" plate was exquisite. Had their thin-sliced smoked haddock over haricots vert -- différent and excellent. And speaking of different, their take on mousse au chocolat is truly unique and lick-the-bowl satisfying! It's a real joy to find something that isn't the ubiquitous tried and true brasserie/bistro/café fare -- not that there's anything wrong with those here in Paris. These folks are doing a sweet, beautiful thing here across from le Ste-Germain Marché Couvert. And the price/performance value here is truly superb. Excellent, varied and very fresh seafood. Interesting preparations with spices and fresh fruits & vegetables that enhance, don't obliterate the taste of the fish. Service is excellent and discreet. We sat at our table nearly 4 hours and were never rushed out. My 2 friends had mussels which they agreed were the best they've ever had.
