Jorge has not responded since September 13th, 2025 (more than 4 months ago), despite my asking him about the painters who didn't show up, asking for the leftover paint so I could do the touch-up myself, and sending photos of the work quality. I do not recommend this company because they don't paint any difficult to get to places that are fully visible, do not care if their paint chips off the walls, and don't follow through on their "2-year paint warranty".

I was impressed by reading the 5 star reviews on Yelp and contacted Axel & Aaron Painting. We sent photos of the job to Kimberly (as requested) first, and received thier verbal quote from her. Since we hadn't met in-person and the quote was just verbal off of the photos, we wanted to meet them at our rental property to review the scope of work. My husband and I met at our rental property with the two owners, Pedro and Kimberly, and all went well. My husband spent considerable time with Pedro discussing the prep work needed. We felt comfortable proceeding, and even told them about our next job, in hopes that they could also do that (if all went well). But on Day 1 things did not go well. Two workers came to pressure wash, but Pedro was never onsite. The workers were done and left within 2 hours, before we could get back to the rental to see the work. It's a large deck and large porch with raijlings, and we found many areas had been missed, so we called them to let them know right away. My husband sent them photos as well showing the mildew and dirty areas that still needed more pressure washing (see some of the photos). We expected Pedro would of course want to come back out himself that afternoon, or the next day, Day 2, since the prep and painting wasn't going to start until Day 3, so there was still time. Kimberly, after receiving the photos, was dismissive and told us by phone "this is normal and those areas can just be sanded before painting". You cannot sand away, or paint over the mold/mildew they left behind. I think it would likely have taken 1 hour more of pressure washing and they would stay on track to start prep and paint/stain on Day 3 (the second day of work) but there was no response or assurance from Pedro it would be addressed. That evening they sent the bid with an extra $300 add-on for the "option" of two colors "IF" we were to decide to paint the railings white. This was the first and only written proposal, and it seemed fair, so we were still ready to proceed. We just needed confirmation from Kimberly, or a callback from Pedro that they would come back to finish the missed areas since. There was no still no reply. Instead, the next morning, we got an email as follows: "Unfortunately, we won't be able to complete your staining project as planned. As we mentioned before, pressure wash was completed. Sorry we couldn't meet your expectations.". This is very unprofessional and caused us (and our tentants) a huge inconvenience. We saw RED FLAGS, and we were beginning to question if we should go any further with them. I am certain the quality would have been shoddy.

They were responsive, friendly and listened closely to what I needed. Together we came up with a project that was priced fairly. During the project they showed utmost kindness and patience as the original bid (due to my oversight) had the incorrect number of doors, and I also added baseboards. They accommodated me with a smile and were very fair with the cost. They have the utmost level of professionalism and know-how. They work hard and communicate well. This company is a joke and should never be trusted for any work on a house. A child could have painted my door better than they did. I could have installed the door better than they could and I have never installed a door. It has been almost 2 months now and still no resolution to fixing the problems. ERC game me a simple and very competitive all inclusive price. And they were able to start the project the following week! I ended up picking the higher grade paint and they only charged me the cost difference of what they had quoted. Other contractors had a much higher markup. They pressure washed my exterior and came back a few days later to start the job. They were so quick and thorough. Cleaning up some old caulking and fixing some damaged trim. They even sanded and refinished my cedar soffits. The quality was fantastic. While they were out, my neighbor was impressed and asked for a quote as well. They will likely do their house too the following week. I'll definitely recommend ERC painting to anyone who needs a painting contractor.

I found this really helpful and recommend it to anyone. Pam was very knowledgeable and taught me a lot about how paint looks completely different depending on the light. Again, highly recommended for anyone. Dave and Ross painted, and I don't think they could have done a better job. They are artisans with a LOT of expertise who made my condo look brand new. They are everything you want in a painter. They showed up on time EVERY day, cleaned up after themselves, and were polite and professional. They respected the work hours set by my HOA. Ross even fixed my running toilet (at no charge), which I really appreciated. Before the painting, I had some old baseboard heaters replaced with wall heaters. As a result there were some areas with holes, old paint color, etc. Dave and Ross cleaned all that up. The wall heaters look great, and you can't tell there used to be baseboard heaters. They also fixed a ton of issues I had with my trim. The flooring company who installed it didn't do a great job of joining separate pieces. Painting America took the time to fix all the joins and make it look like a single solid piece. I took bids from 3 other companies besides Painting America, before I went with them. They were one of the higher bids, but they are well worth the money. I am so pleased with the results, and when I need painting in the future I won't look elsewhere.
