I have a warranted fear of dentists and prior horrible experiences, so when i broke my front teeth i was dreading going to get them fixed. I found Seven Hills Dentistry online, looked at the reviews, booked an appt. The staff is very friendly and upbeat, there was no shaming at all, they focused on what i wanted and needed in the emergency visit, i got two crowns, the needle for numbing was the ONLY pain i felt. Dr. Papp was the dentist who worked with me today he has a great sense of humor, made me feel at ease and explained everything very well. There was no sales pitch on products i should get nor are they pushy about other dental work that needs done, They simply fixed the issue i was complaining about. They had a tv on the ceiling which was pretty nice to focus on, the office was super clean and EVERYONE seemed to enjoy the work atmosphere , which makes a big difference on how they treat customers. My hygienist was very pleasant and did a good job cleaning but the practice itself is very dishonest with pricing and it takes FOREVER for someone in the office to get back to you. I was required to pay in full up front for an extraction. I then learned the price was excessively $400 more compared to many other dentists, I requested a refund. I called ELEVEN times to try to work out the refund and the office kept reassuring me they completed the transaction and the office manager would be in touch. I never could get ahold of the office manager and never got the refund. Thankfully I was able to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Did not have a great experience and probably won't be back which is unfortunate because I really like my hygienist Melinda and her assistant Tammy, and haven't had a bad experience but today was so bad I don't see myself coming back. I was 30 minutes early because I'm on a staycation an hour away and wanted to make sure I respect there time and not be late. The lady behind me while checking in I overheard was late and did not call and they took her instead of me and I feel like that should have been vice versa make the person who doesn't respect your businesses time wait and the customer who was early should have been taken care of over the one who was late with no communication. I arrived at 11:55 my appointment was at 12:30 and I was seen at 12:50 after saying I wanted to leave they put me in a room that the equipment didn't even work. Just a total disrespect for me and my time when I had went out of my way to respect there time and keep my appointment even though I was on "vacation." read more

This dentist likes to have a doctor who isn't in your insurance then bill you big time - not cool

I've been a patient here for about 3 years. I have had nothing but exemplary care. Dr. Papp is an amazing dentist, and is incredibly patient with me! Thanks to bad genes, my teeth are in really bad shape. Not anyone's fault, but I've been here at least a couple dozen times, and have always had nothing but the best care. They also have two additional dentists, and I have had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Sterr. Poor thing had to work on me briefly on a Saturday. What a sweet, caring doctor! Ok, so that's the dentists, but I haven't mentioned the ancillary staff yet. Up front, Erica and Yvette are my girls! I love them like family...no joke. They truly do a great job scheduling my appointments, getting me in right away if I have any issues, and of course, taking my money. LOL. Page, the new office manager is outstanding, and incredibly nice. Melinda, my hygienist is a rock star! Daniell (pronounced like Danielle), is always beside me with Dr. Papp. I can't possibly say enough good things about this angel! Just knowing she's there, takes away so much anxiety. She really is the best! I rarely leave reviews, let alone long ones, but in this case, it is so well deserved. It's a great practice with the most wonderful people! read more

Be careful that you're not being charged for things that you didn't receive, and make sure your insurance claims correspond to the actual services you received. Within 2 weeks of trying this practice, we found several billing discrepancies which did not leave a good first impression but rather a bad taste in our mouths. Found out our new insurance does cover our wonderful, former practice even though they are not in network....going back there. read more

I honestly don't know how to feel. I had truly amazing service. I am terrified of the dentist and they did such a great job I even had my fillings done and they did amazing work with those. The issue I had was the payment. I paid for my fillings the day I got them and they said the rest would be covered by my insurance. It was covered and situated for a while (at least I thought) until a few months later I got another bill in the mail for the fillings I already paid for. I talked to the dentist again and she said I never paid to begin with. This has been an ongoing issue for about 6 months back and forth. Long story short I kept getting the same bill after I paid it and they kept saying I didn't pay for my fillings and that insurance didn't cover it even after I checked with my insurance and they did. So very disappointed. They need to fix the payment issues. read more

I really love this office. They've always been incredibly friendly. They've also been very patient with my children and very accommodating to my schedule. Scheduling is a breeze. My family is new to the area and Seven Hills Dentistry was recommended by a local orthodontist office. I took my kids for a cleaning and everyone was very sweet. I've been fortunate enough to have amazing dentists over the years so my expectation is always high. Dr. Papp and his team were very accommodating while still meeting all of the Covid-19 requirements and the office provides a very relaxing environment. I gave a star rating of 2 only because I really liked the Dentist that I was assigned, Dr. Papp. If you want to pay 3-4 times what you should, then this is the place! Went in for a 6 tooth bridge consult and was given an excessive price estimate of over $23,000! Another honest dentist is doing the exact same work for only $5,900! I regret driving 45 minutes to this location and wasting my time and efforts. I do believe that DR. Papp was a competent dentist, but I feel that they are taking advantage of people that are gullible enough to pay these excessive prices. read more

I went in for a consult and plan for restoring some teeth or resorting to a partial. I got a $10,000 wish list from them to do a lot of work and that did not include all the costs. It did not include a price for the partial option. I called back and requested this pricing. Nothing for 2 weeks. I called after 2 weeks and requested it again. Still nothing. It appears they don't care to work with you at all. Okay. I get the message. Have a nice life. read more

Worst service ever !!!! They didn't get the job done right and left me with my teeth messed up after paying over a thousand dollars!!!

I love this office. I had an emergency where my bridge broke. I called in and office staff were super friendly and professional. They got me scheduled right away. My hygienist Michelle is honestly the best. I have a fear of dentist especially when i have to be numbed. Michelle made me feel calm and confident everything would be ok. She talked me through what she was doing to calm my nerves , letting me know I was doing great as I had to be numbed. She was super tedious, and is a perfectionist for sure. Dr. Papp was also very patient as well I could not seem to get numb, and he made sure to up the dosage if I told him I still felt pain which I really appreciated. The accounting manager even went as far as offering two different plans for getting my bridge fixed with 2 different payment options which was really nice of her. This will definitely be my primary dentist moving forward. Thank you so much to literally everyone in the office. You all helped me in some way. read more

I went as a new patient for exam and routine cleaning. I scheduled appointments for me and my husband. The day before appt they called and changed my appointment ( not hubbys) so much earlier that we couldn't ride together. But I don't get to charge them 50 bucks for changing in less than 72 hours. Then they xrayed and photographed my mouth . Said they saw one speck below gum line on one tooth. Oh I need a special cleaning where they spray water and listerine in my gums...$887 that ins doesn't cover. I declined and said I would just have regular cleaning. They refused! Wasted 2 hours of my time. Im sure they billed my ins for xrays and probably an exam although I did not see the dentist. Ins won't pay for xrays and exam again for a while. What a scam!!! read more

It has been many years since I've been to the dentist. Mostly because of fear and knowing I'll need quite a bit of work done. I searched my insurance to see who was in network and then got online and checked out reviews. I decided to give Seven Hills Dentistry a shot and I'm glad I did. The office staff was very friend when making the appointment and when I arrived. I found the place to be clean and up-to-date with the best technology. Everyone was very nice and made me feel completely comfortable. I like that this is a private practice and Dr Ron took the extra time to learn a little about me. My family and I went to Seven Hills Dentistry on 12/7/2019 for normal dental cleanings. I was told that I had several cavities and a tooth had decay which needed to be removed right away and crowned. I told them I wasn't having any pain or problems with the tooth they claimed had decay and they proceeded to show me my x-ray of the tooth. I didn't see any problem with the tooth but Dr. Hassanzadeh pointed out a lightly darkened area where the tooth was supposedly decaying. After the dentist and his staff pressured me to get this tooth and cavities taken cared of I made an appointment on 1/25/2020. On the day of my procedure I was asked to give over $200 down payment for the procedure and then asked for another payment of $80 for an additional filling. I assumed this was my coinsurance due for my responsibility after my insurance paid their portion. I was also put on a payment plan automatically deducted each month. I later found out that my crown procedure was not approved and was never notified of this from Dr. Hassanzadeh. The office proceeded to take payments from me without notifying me. I called my insurance and they informed me that my fillings were covered but the crown procedure was denied because 50% of my tooth didn't show decay therefore they only approved a filling for that tooth. I have now paid over $600 to the dentist office and they have neither refunded me for what my insurance has paid them for the covered procedures nor completed an appeal to have the crown procedure covered after they already completed this procedure on me. After researching my own over payment to this dentist office, I found my husband paid for a procedure he didn't even have. Dr. Hassanzadeh and his staff require that you pay upfront even when they are in network for your procedures but they do not refund you once they are paid by the insurance company which is considered fraud. read more
