I had a tricky move but it was all handled brilliantly. I already moved from Los Angeles to Worcester, MA and then hired Seven Moving to help manage my final move, Worcester, MA to Stoneham, MA (about an hour move) months later. Problem was, all my stuff was in three locations in Worcester. They provided a 24' truck and three movers. They arrived 20 minutes after they said they would (not a problem - communication was there all along) and quickly packed up all items at location 1 and proceeded to do the same at location 2 then location 3. All in all, it took a long time because I had so much stuff AND it was coming from 3 different pick-up spots (and then an hour drive to the final destination). All in all, moving is NOT fun. I never had to worry this move day because these three guys were quick and efficient. They knew exactly how to work with each other and get things in/out quickly and into the truck. Two critiques/comments: they forgot to bring binding rope/clamps. At first they needed to go to a hardware store to get them, which I wasn't a fan of because that would require a good amount of time to do. I was able to find two bundles of hiking rope that they were able to use instead (to which they needed to cut in a few places). Secondly, I had a King Mattress. The day after moving, when I moved the mattress off the floor into the frame, I noticed the back of the mattress was torn (foam mattress). Now, it's a relatively small tear but its through both the permanent cover of the mattress as well as through some of the foam. I am fairly certain this was caused by seven movers. My original movers had this in a massive box until it was placed into storage where it sat until my final move day. Seven Movers only placed a moving run on the bottom of it when transporting, so it most likely tore during transpo out of storage into the truck, while int he truck, or while being moved. Now, it's highly probably they did this but I can't be certain. Either way, more moving rugs should have surrounded this mattress since it was the bare mattress and nothing more - something I didn't think of that they obviously should have. Aside from these two critiques, it was a great experience. In summary, I'd hire these guys again and would highly recommend them to others. read more

I think these guys must not have many reviews because people get caught up in The Mayhem of the Move... I completely forgot to review them for their stellar work on my Sept 1st move. First of all, the logistics of my move changed in the few days leading up to Sept 1st (which, as you know, is like the superbowl of move weekends in boston). The person's room i was moving into couldn't secure movers to get her stuff OUT so these guys agreed to move her stuff out to her new place so i could move my stuff in (essentially adding an extra hour + additional site to the job). but they were awesome about everything. they worked quickly. they were on-time. none of my stuff got banged up... moving sucks, but seven made it as painless as possible. read more

Zurab was extremely helpful throughout my entire process. Unfortunately, I had very strict guidelines regarding my move-in from the property company and was only made aware of the strict move-in rules (certain dates/times/parking permits etc), 3 days before my scheduled move in. I and had to reschedule with Zurab at least 3 times, each time I asked for a change, he was completely understanding, patient, and accommodating. I will be honest- I'm not an easy customer. I contacted Seven moving company a week prior to my move from Boston to NY, and I confirmed with them my move five days prior. They told me they were available from 5-7 in the evening. However, I wanted to move around noon so I can drive back to NY. I kept pushing them to let me get the earlier pick up time so I can leave early. They were more than willing to accommodate to my needs and tried their best to make it happen. They contacted me that morning and asked when they can come in and came as soon as I told them I'm ready to move now. They were quick to move my items and were out the door within an hour- these guys are organized and productive. Zurab also kept me updated throughout the day: calling me to inform me when he left for NY and when he was an hour away from the final destination. This is the type of business I like- I want to know where my stuff is and when I should expect them to be at my place. I highly recommend the company for anyone moving. I had Seven Moving move my wife's stuff from her old apartment in Roxbury Crossing to our new apartment in Boston. The experience was incredible from beginning to end. We loved the 2 movers (a Jersey guy and a Russian). They were highly professional, very quick, and they both had a great sense of humor. We were pleasantly surprised to see how quickly they got everything done, and we're pretty embarrassed over the fact that we actually originally considered doing this complicated move ourselves. With my help, we got it all done in less than 2 hours. With the tip, it cost around $200. Without notifying me earlier, the original company I hired for moving postponed my moving time 5 hours later for another job without getting my consent 2 hours before my scheduled move. Literally the best movers I have ever dealt with. When the first moving company I used wasn't able to get my long couch into my apartment through the front door, they left it outside my corridor. This left me having to scramble to find other options. The next day I called 7 Moving, a half hour before they were suppose to close, just to get a quote for what it would be to hoist my couch into my apartment via the kitchen window. The manager was very polite and right away asked for a few pictures to see if it was possible. When I explained the situation, he proposed that he could send his movers that same night to try and get my couch in. He told me he'd charge me a flat rate if they were able to get it into the apartment via the front door and a little higher flat rate if they had to hoist it. He also said if they came and weren't able to get it in, then he would not charge me at all. He sent 3 very friendly and professional movers a half hour later (Yerzhan, Azamat, and Kairat). After, first trying through the apt door and not being able to get it in they decided to hoist it. I can't explain the effort and strength they put in to pulling my couch up to the third floor. It was no easy feat, and yet they refused to finish the job without getting it done. They were finally able to get it in a little less than an hour later through the kitchen window (and I have never been more relieved in my life). Hands down if I ever move again they're the only moving company I'll call! read more

First time using movers. I will admit I was a little skeptical - were they actually as good as the reviews made it seem? I can now say unquestionably yes. Had a challenging move from a walkup apartment building to a multilevel townhouse tucked away in a complex. Throughout communication was excellent, including a call on the day of saying they were leaving there home base, and another call to tell me they were just a few minutes away. Once they arrived, they were fast, efficient, and attentive to details. They even managed to get a couch that was a challenge to get into the apartment out unscathed. I just completed an 11 hour move with Yezzhan, Azamat and Kairat, and am so thankful for their 5 star service. These guys had a very tough move - we moved from a 4th floor walk up condo (narrow staircase, lots of stairs) to a house with 4 floors (long walkway, narrow staircase, narrow doors), and they handled this move like champions. We had lots of very heavy and large pieces of furniture that required disassembling and reassembling (including a bar that was over 150 pounds, and roof deck furniture that had to be hoisted down the side wall), and probably over 50 boxes and bags. They managed to load all of this at once and only take 1 trip. I was amazed with how hardworking and positive they remained despite the level of difficulty, and how quickly they could do everything as a 3 man team for a 6 man job. I was also impressed with how they went above and beyond - during hour 8 of the move, there was a sectional sofa that did not seem to fit the third floor doorway, so I told them to put it on the second floor. They insisted on trying to remove the legs and pivot the sofa, and were able to squeeze it upstairs! This was my second move with Seven movers and Zurab was always extremely responsive and set clear expectations upfront. The price is the most competitive in the Boston area, and I highly recommend this company to anyone who plans on moving! read more

We can't say enough good things about Seven Moving. This in and of itself is exceptional considering my husband's high standards and do-it-yourself nature. Seven Moving made what could have been a stressful move easy, efficient, nothing to worry about, even (dare I say) pleasant! Our situation: We purchased a used bedroom set from a nice couple in Charlestown and needed to bring it home. Seven Moving put a plan into place upon being hired, and communicated with both us and the sellers of the bedroom set prior to their arrival so we weren't left wondering when and if they would show up. We could not be present when the bedroom set was moved out of the Charlestown condo; but we kindly received updates and were told that the gentlemen were careful, nice, and professional. Seven Moving arrived at our home soon after, and exhibited all the aforementioned traits. When other movers had no availability for a late July move, they got back to me within a few hours saying they could do it and for less $$ than any other moving company around. The movers arrived within the time frame that they originally gave me, they were polite, efficient, and careful, and the time and price quote was accurate. They listened at every step in the process and followed my instructions about where to place furniture and boxes without complaint. After the move was over, they double-checked with me to make sure I felt comfortable with the placement of all my furniture, saying it was no problem to move anything around.
