We added a second story (a little over 700 square feet) that included a bedroom, full bath, living space and wet bar area. They showed up every day first thing in the morning, worked a full day and were extremely productive. They treated our home with respect and care, keeping not only our house as clean and orderly as possible, but paying extra attention to our neighbors making sure the impact of the construction project to those around us was minimized. The project was completed on time and on budget and we had all the information we needed throughout to know what to expect next and the current status. Trinady and Chelsea are true craftspeople paying attention to the smallest detail and always treated our home as if it were their own. It's not often you meet people in this world with the integrity, honesty and talent that these two have. I wholeheartedly recommend them and am happy to share stories and examples that demonstrate the character and quality of this team.

Very transparent with costs and time estimates, as well as the scope of what our repairs entailed. We had several other companies come out and look at the project and they were not nearly as straightforward and matter of fact. I really appreciated the integrity shown by the entire team, but especially Paul, who did 99% of the work needed with our shower repair. Overall I highly recommend the entire team. Very professional, hard working, prompt, and got the job done quickly and correctly.

Brad was very professional during the entire experience and communicated well through the process. His crew often worked long hours and were punctual. My wife and I really appreciated Brad's knowledge and creative thinking and would give great ideas when we were stuck on how to remodel certain areas of the house. I personally struggled with envisioning how each room would look after the remodel and Brad did excellent at walking me through each process of the rooms to help me develop a clearer picture of the end product. I plan on using Western Idaho Builders (Brad) on my next big project of remodeling our personal home as well. Services performed: Installed new doors, moved doors around, moved walls around, built a landing with stairs leading to the back yard, painted inside / outside, removed cement stairs and blended wall with house, framed garage door, installed new lights. I had new flooring put in my a different company but Brad did the floor prep and did a great job for the floor installers. The project was completed just over a week past the projected completion time but I primarily put the blame on the painters for this. One slight negative to the project was the painters were not very punctual, had to come back multiple times, and I am not sure the quality of paint was what I paid for due to how easily it is to scratch the paint with my fingernail on accident. The painting itself was a good job and looked very professional. Painters were subcontracted by Brad and not completed by his crew.

When we call Mike, if he is available he comes that same day to review the work that needs to be done. Communication with him and his team is great. It might say House Doctors, but they do interior and exterior work. This time we had an exterior sliding door that the wood trim around it needed to be replaced. Ken totally replaced and painted the outer frame. Mike saw a few of our siding strips that need a little work and paint. They took care of everything at the same time. No projects are too small and they always have great suggestions. As is often the case with any contracting type of work there are often delays and hiccups, and occasional mistakes along the way. Mike was fantastic with communication and when things didn't turn out quite right the first time (wrong hardware or missing pieces etc), he was quick to fox the issue without charging me for it.
