    Oyster Mondays $1.50 each
    Crystal F.

This place was recommended to us for their oyster Mondays, $1.50 each all day. We love oysters and had to give this place a try. It was kinda slow for a Monday, we weren't sure if that's a bad thing, but we still ordered 24 oysters, East and West Coast and they came with a variety of hot sauces on the side. The oysters were fresh and delicious, no grittyness at all. We also ordered the crab and lobster carbonara, fish tacos and a small clam chowder. Everything tasted amazing, but the oysters were the best thing we had here. The service was okay, it could have been better. We will definitely come back here on Mondays. There is also a fish market located inside the restaurant we will check out next time.

My husband and I have been wanting to try this place for a minute now so we came in around 7 on a Thursday and got sat right away. Menu options are of good variety but not overwhelming. We decided on the cheesy biscuits for an appetizer and then the mahi Mahi fish tacos and the mahi fish and chips upon our lovely server's recommendation. Both mahi dishes were magical. Full of flavor and left us nice and full. The atmosphere was classy and clean and the servers and bartender were all very friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be coming back!

Ummm yes! We came here for the first time just before Valentine's Day. Honestly, I'm ready to go back. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left the staff was amazing. The decor is pretty rad as well! Now the main attraction...we started with crab cakes...legit. Would definitely order again. They were very well made. Not massive but oh so good. I ordered the salmon...now I'm not a huge salmon person. I like it but it's not a "go to". This one though...I'd have a hard time not ordering next time we come in. It was amazing. Thank you, Seven Seas. See ya soon

Love their Happy hour menu! Sun-Thurs 3:00-6:00pm Fresh seafood like their HH $2 oysters! (West Coast oyster, East Coast oyster) Lovee it! Cleanly shucked and good for the hot summer days. Although the East Coast oysters were a bit more on the salty. $10 their margaritas is actually pretty good Their Japanese lager was also refreshing. Service was attentive, I like it. It actually kick to it. Why is she crying ate it? I got one for you. So then it won't be too spicy. But beer put your about 15 minutes would come again!

I met with friends I haven't seen in a long time. Our party included an infant and our server, Favian, was very friendly and patient with us. He took multiple photos for us as requested and was just overall a very positive person. He was great! The food was delicious and served in generous portions. There was plenty of seating and no wait time for when we arrived. I would definitely come here again.

What an amazing new spot in vista!! My best friend and I had the best time!! It's so nice inside and the vibe is immaculate! The service was wonderful, our server and bartender, Erin, truly made sure we had a great experience! I also love how the bartenders each have a special drink on the menu, definitely give one a try! The owner Luis and his family are such kind and amazing people! you can tell there was passion and a vision behind this restaurant! 10/10 will definitely be back again and again! check out their happy hour!!!

    Clam chowder
    Princesa L.

Started coming after 3 weeks after they initially opened. It's a great place and a restaurant that is needed in Vista due to the seafood aspect. Came here in the PM on 10-04-25, and it didn't seem busy but the service was slow. The bartender had to step in and she was great. She then basically became the server because the server was busy doing other stuff. This time we ordered a dozen oysters- half East coast and half West coast, 4 scallops, a mug of clam chowder, 2 beers, and a glass of wine. Everything was delicious. Whatever sauce they put on the scallops should be sold in stores. The mug of clam chowder was great because usually this alternates when I come. I tried, I think the house wine which was a buttery Chardonnay. I enjoyed it and would order it again. I like the music they play here and I like that they are adding more "events" like Sunday football and Taco Tuesdays. We will definitely be coming back for good food and ambiance.

I was in need of an evening snack, didn't want a big meal so I sat at the bar and ordered snacks. The mai tai was good, though I'm a 1944 Mai tai snob. Frankly when I saw this place was opening I was hoping it would be a tiki bar. Maybe they need to add a speakeasy? I liked the oysters, I usually have them raw but these were tasty and a good size for two people to try. The biscuits were great, with honey butter. Staff was friendly. Will be back for fish and chips!

House margarita & blueberry lemon drop martini
    Pamela R.

Really nice upscale casual vibe inside. Sign said seat yourself so we did in a very comfortable booth along the wall. Katie greeted us right away with water and utensils. We started with drinks...because why not, it's Sunday afternoon! I had the blueberry lemon drop and the hubs had the house margarita...both were super cold and refreshing. I ordered local catch of the day sandwich which was swordfish. It was cooked perfectly and served with a broccoli slaw and house made chips. The slaw was great but I wasn't a fan of the chips. Hubs ordered the fish and chips. They were moist and crisp and served with fries which were perfectly double fried. Also served with the slaw. Katie was attentive and friendly. We had a great experience and will definitely return.

    Lucy M.

Everything was so good!! To start, the inside of the restaurant is so elegant and pretty. The outside seating is equally nice with the views of vista village. The food overall was delicious. I am definitely coming back, often! The only reason I didn't rate 5/5 is because my steak was dry and our server wasn't rude or negative, but she also wasn't too friendly. Seemed like she was just tired.

My first time here. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I liked our server. When I asked for Tabasco she brought me all their hot sauces in case I wanted to try any others. I tried the Table Sauce and thought it was really good. I ordered a Mug of Clam Chowder and Patatas Bravas & Shishito Peppers (fingerling potatoes, roasted garlic aioli, grilled lemon). Everything was served hot and fresh. I loved the soup. I'll definitely be going back for the soup.

    Kids burger and fries
    Eli R.

Okay the food quality is amazing here, top of the line and freshest seafood. The clam chowder is actually fire, reminded me of the chowder from Fish House Vera Cruz in San Marcos. Kinda got a little disappointed when my $17 shrimp taco plate got two shrimps on each taco and bunch of cabbage. The kids menu is actually really good and the burger was perfectly made although they got the order wrong the first time they added cheese when we said no cheese but I don't blame the chefs. Everything else is great the atmosphere and the ambiance is laid back and I like how they play the baseballs games on the tvs. Most definitely one thing they lack was the salsa, they have bottle salsas that you buy at the store but they don't have the freshly made green and red salsas. The waitress are very nice by the way and I love the service here.

The special. Check IG if they have one!

Street parking only, but wasn't too hard to find a spot as we came early. The restaurant is very nice and looks new. There is two dining rooms one towards the front near the bar area, and another in the back. We sent in the front for brunch. The menu had a good variety of items, and we decided to go with the chilaquiles and the shrimp and grits. I love Shrimp and grits, and it's not too common on menu's so i has to try it. The dish had pork belly instead of bacon, and shrimp. THe texture of the grits was very good, not too runny or too thick. The shrimp seemed good quality and not chewy or rubbery. I really enjoyed the dish and would order it again. The chilaquiles were an interesting take, not at all what you're normal chilaquiles would be. They come with lamb but we substituted with chicken. They were covered with a type of hollandaise sauce and we both thought they were good. I also ordered a breakfast shot that had bourbon in it, and a piece of pork belly on the top, and a shot of orange juice. It was pretty strong and very good. I would definitely order this one again, and the piece of pork belly they added on top was perfect. I can't wait to go back to check out their happy hour, it looks like they have an awesome menu, and they even do it on the weekends.

My husband and I were consistently blown away throughout the meal. We had a few cocktails (one was the verde) and all of them were exceptionally crafted, balanced and well priced. What really shocked us was how good the food was. These were chef driven dishes with phenomenal flavor profiles and execution. Genuinely was blown away by the charred broccoli and the cabbage dish. I would venture to say I preferred the broccoli dish here than to somewhere like Campfire. On that final note, I'll say we typically go to State street or Encinitas/Solana/Oceanside for our date nights but please, give this place a try. They were so so good! 10/10 from two vegetarians

Same Same, but Different? Not Quite…read more Hiya B.U.M.S., We recently decided to check out Same Same, hoping for an experience that was delightfully different. Our order for the night? The Thai-style New York steak, Khao Soi curry, and larb lettuce cups--all paired with a custom-crafted, half-Cranberry, half-Sprite. Before we even tasted the food, we almost ended up eating next door. The entrances are a bit of a maze, leaving us standing outside having a mini identity crisis about where we actually wanted to dine. Ultimately, we stayed the course and chose Same Same. The Larb Lettuce Cups: As a massive larb fan, I was hyped. Unfortunately, it fell a bit flat. My wife officially dubbed it "lackluster." While the ground beef was seasoned and the lettuce was beautifully crisp, when the lettuce is the undisputed star of your larb, it might be time to reevaluate the recipe. The Yellowtail Ceviche: To recover from the larb disappointment, my wife ordered the ceviche. It was a step up, but for a Thai spot, it was missing that signature kick. It really needed a handful of jalapeños to wake it up. In fact, nothing on the table was truly spicy until I deployed their house chili oil. The Khao Soi Curry: This was the absolute hero of the night! It completely saved the meal. It was rich and delicious, and it paired unexpectedly well with our New York steak--even though the kitchen served it well-done instead of our requested medium-rare. As dinner went on, it became pretty clear that this spot might cater a bit more to the happy hour and drinking crowd, especially considering my Cranberry-Sprite mix was arguably the most flavor-packed thing on the table. That said, the service was fantastic. The staff members were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Pro-Tip: If you're ordering more than two items, do not let them seat you at the tiny tables for two. It's a high-stakes game of food Tetris you will not win. On the bright side, they earned major bonus points for boxing up our leftovers for us. Call me old-fashioned, but I feel like every restaurant should still offer that level of hospitality! Overall, I'd say give it a shot if you're in the neighborhood and looking for a cool atmosphere, but I wouldn't rush off your couch to get there.
