We are staying on property at The Seabird and decided to enjoy lunch before going to the pier. The staff is so friendly and they made our visit a lot of fun. The drinks were beautiful and delicious. The menu is small, but the burger does not disappoint. And the view is incredible!

Came here for my anniversary because I wanted to catch a nice sunset view and have some bites and drinks! It was a Tuesday around 6pm and all the pits were taken up already, but we were able to snag a spot outside near the pits( I also called in beforehand to try and reserve a pit, but they charge $270 to guarantee a spot). Food was mediocre. I really expected more from a hotel. We got the steamed mussels, oysters, lobster roll, and fries. Lobster roll tasted too fishy and just wasn't my favorite. I'm glad the server informed us that the oysters were on the larger side because I normally like the smaller ones. On the plus side the cocktails were good! We had an ube cocktail(ooh baby) and margarita(lily pad). The sunset here on a clear day is definitely worth it. But the view and drinks are prob the only things I'll come back for next time. Hopefully able to get a bonfire pit as well.

Beautiful nautical decor nice for meeting a friend for a drink with some nice light appetizers. You can't beat the amazing view right outside their window either! You're right across the street from the Oceanside pier and an amazing ocean view!! Staff is friendly and warm. Great drink options are 10/10 as well. Perfect for a small group gathering too!

I highly recommend booking a fire ring for a couple of hours over sunset. It's a gorgeous ocean view, very friendly service & comfortable casual but classy environment. The lobster roll is excellent.

I booked a vacation at Mission Pacific Beach, which is the sister hotel to Seabird, and stopped by here for a snack and some cocktails before my dinner reservation. We grabbed seats at the bar, and the bartenders couldn't have been nicer. They had great recommendations, and the TVs made it easy to catch the game. There's both indoor and outdoor seating with fire pits, which is a nice touch. The space is bright and definitely leans more family-oriented. Not exactly the vibe I usually go for in the evening, but still a solid setup. We had: *Captain's Quarters: Delicious and very liquor forward. *Lady of the Sea: Too sweet and a bit off. Couldn't put my finger on why. *Tempura Squash: Really good. The dip made it even better. *Lobster Roll: Just okay. A lot of sauce, which hid the quality of the lobster, and the chips on the side were way too spicy. Overall, it's a clean and well-kept spot, just a little too open and bright for my preference. Feels more business casual or family focused.

If you get here at the right time, grab one of the outdoor tables and catch a beautiful sunset. If not, don't worry -- the inside is just as impressive. The hotel and bar pay close attention to detail, with a lot of great art pieces that make it feel like you've stepped into Cape Cod or somewhere far from Oceanside. The drinks were excellent, and the burger hit the spot. This is a great lounge with a well-thought-out vibe -- perfect for a casual night out or an easy escape from the usual scene. The servers have been there a while and know their stuff. It gets busy though

The view here is just absolutely amazing and food was also delicious. It is pricey but worth it. I got the fish and chip and GF got the ahi poke bowl. Both dishes were so fresh and yummy. Our server was also very chatty and knowledgeable about items on the menu and drinks. Will have to come back and stay at the hotel and eat or drink here to enjoy the view.

Came here for some patio time and got it What I ate: - Fish + Chips: This was ... okay. The fish itself was fried well. Fries were delicious but unremarkable. It came with and overly mayo drenched slaw. I feel like I may have ordered the wrong thing Pros: - That patio wrapped the corner of the hotel and had that inside/outside feel. The seating areas on the patio all had fire pits, and as the sun set they get very popular - The view! Right across from the water and the pier - Drink menu was pretty decent. A nice mix of cocktails, wines, beers - Staff was friendly, though as the bar got busier, the less I saw of him - Clientele seemed like a nice mix of visitors and local regulars - The vibe was right, at least for me. I had debated if I should check out the other hotel bar which was rooftop, but I could hear the loud music all the way down on street level and decided that wasn't the vibe for me. This bar was chill, and the seating was comfortable Cons: - I kind of wish there was a tad more shade. It was either sit on the patio side away from the pier and sit in the cold shade, or sit directly in the sun and get warm. It didn't help with the fire pits going. I ended up sitting at a fire pit that didn't work - The food... For the kind of ambiance of this bar I was disappointed at the food quality. It was just okay, very mediocre. Food menu was small - Parking I'm not sure what the price was to park at the hotel. I had wandered in off the street after parking at the pier. All day parking at the pier was $10. There is so much street parking, but I couldn't find any that accepted CC, nearly all the ones I saw were coin operated. This is why I ended up parking at the pier lot. I'm sure there are parking lots/structures in the area, but I didn't check. Would I come again? Sure, but not for the food.

This is the first time I've ever been there, and it's got a great view, you can't beat that. My friend ordered the fish and chips which he enjoyed. I had the burger, which was a good combination of really different ingredients so I'd say go for it!

The food was delicious. Server was kind and attentive. We sat outside to watch the sun set and it was beautiful. They even gave us a blanket once it got chilly I will definitely be coming back

You can't find a better view to enjoy with your cocktail! This hotel bar is very chill, and the service was friendly and attentive, as well. I was able to get some work done on my laptop while enjoying a White Russian and some unhealthy but delicious "trashy" French fries. The beach view proved to be incredibly relaxing and inspiring, and the kindness of the servers was very much appreciated.

    No Thanks.

A nice spot off the balcony of the seabird resort. If you're looking to watch the sunset, this is a good place to do it. They have some fun drinks and some decent food. I'm always happy when a bar stocks Sipsmith Gin. A martini made with Sipsmith is as good as it gets. They also have a nice cocktail list, which sees regular changes. The Green curry muscles were nice and our server did a nice job of taking care of us on the patio. A big disappointment at The Shore Room is with the 6% service charge. The excuse for this was that it helps the management offset the cost of a minimum wage increase. Seriously? I asked to have this charge removed. and our server said that the management would not allow it. The server finally offered us a 10% locals discount. What crazy logic!!! The Shore Room believes it's my responsibility to help them offset their labor costs. Maybe next, they will demand their customers pay for their solar panels. This stuff is ridiculous, especially when there are many other good spots within spitting distance, which don't Include these bogus fees. Our server seemed genuinely embarrassed and said that management was working to remove the charges in the future. I don't believe that for a second, because I asked the management to have the charge removed from my bill right then, and they refused. There's some potential here at the Shore House, but no food or drink, or view is worth a management who doesn't respect their customers. I'm in Oceanside regularly and I won't be going to the Shore Room until things change.

We walked into the bar and sat right away. Christian the bartender was great. Makes a fantastic Whiskey Sour and. dirty vodka martini. Service was so great we went back the next day again.

Is there an age requirement to sit down here?

There were children sitting at the fire ring-next to us so I don't think so.

    Are dogs allowed?

Hi there! Yes, dogs are allowed on the patio.

Do they have Happy Hr? How is it?

Not sure about happy hour but the atmosphere and view are spectacular, drinks are very good and food unique but tasty.

My husband and I stopped in to Frankie's on a recent Saturday at 5pm. Our kiddo had a performance down the street at 6pm so we had a little time to kill beforehand. The neighboring spots looked busy so we decided to go with Frankie's, seeing as they were less inundated at the time and we had a time constraint. Another allure was the sandwich board at the front door advertising discounted cocktails - sold!! Inside there were a handful of patrons at the bar, another table with two additional patrons and maybe a couple on the patio so it was fairly quiet and slow, so it looked promising. We headed up to the bar and hung out behind two empty barstools, the single female bartender greeted us and said she'd be right with us, but then continued chatting up the seated patrons, serving them and their friends that had just joined (AFTER we'd arrived). We moved a little further down to the handoff area where she was making drinks to save her having to come back to us again, and stood there for probably 10 minutes while she took orders and made all the drinks. We commented that she looked like she could definitely use a hand, and she said they were still adjusting into summer hours and determining whether more coverage was needed at this time - I figured 5pm on a Saturday should be primetime, so I'm not sure in what universe having a single bartender makes any sense. Finally we placed our cocktail orders, waited while they were made, and then put our card down for the tab. After we'd paid, I noticed the cocktails were more expensive than advertised on the sandwich board out front - I couldn't find a disclaimer anywhere that said only certain cocktails were included, so while it was a bummer I wasn't about to wait another 10-15 minutes to catch her attention and ask for clarification. Just a heads up to beware of whatever is advertised that might summon you in from the sidewalk, and make sure you ask before you make your selection. Drinks were very subpar, nothing special to write home about. While I can appreciate the Gatsby-esque vibe they're trying to uphold at Frankie's, they really should increase their staffing especially during prime weekend and evening hours, and be more transparent about their specials and what's included and what's not. Hindsight is 20/20, and the low volume of patrons when everything else around it was going off was probably a sign, so we'll skip Frankie's our next go around.

This was my second time here, and I love everything about this place. First of all, kudos to the bartender--I forgot her name, but she was incredibly generous and kind. First off, they have a "wait to be seated" sign at their entrance, but it took a while to get anyone to seat us. When we were inside, we noticed there was another entrance and people were just walking in, so "waiting to be seated" was just an option? We ordered a beer and seltzer and it took easily 10-15 minutes to get our drinks. Drinks that were in cans by the way. Music was good, DJs were good, but the whole vibe of the place is kinda everywhere. This lighting in this place needs to be more dimmed. DJs are spinning right in the middle of the room, and there's a clothes rack just chilling against the wall. The baristas are way in the back, and you can't really tell who works there. It took equally as long to get the check as it did to get my drinks. We only had 1 round of drinks. I dunno, waiting for canned drinks just threw me off. I can't imagine how much longer it would have taken to get a mixed cocktail. I only saw one guy mixing drinks and a bunch of women just hanging around. I'm assuming workers that look like they don't work there.

When I tried to understand what exactly was sold out (the hotel, the pool, the rooftop bar, or seating), he continued interrupting and directing me to the hostess stand. He even scolded me that he had already repeated himself four times, while adding that I wasn't asking the question that mattered although he never let me finish a sentence. If you're visiting for the first time, I highly recommend the Shrimp Fried Rice and the Flaming Lip you won't be disappointed! Can't wait to come back for another meal. Highly recommend!

I honestly don't understand who is making decisions at Ocean's Eleven Casino, but it feels like…read morethey go out of their way to make things *harder* for players. They used to have a simple, perfectly fine system where you could call in and put your name on the board for poker games. Easy. Convenient. Player-friendly. Now? That's gone. Instead, they're forcing everyone to download an app just to get on a list. Why? Not everyone wants to download another app. Some people don't have the space. Some people don't trust giving random third-party apps access to their phone. And believe it or not, some people *don't even have smartphones*. So what, those players just don't matter anymore? That's not innovation--that's exclusion. If you want to OFFER an app, great. Give people options. But completely removing the ability to call in is just lazy and tone-deaf. It shows zero consideration for your actual customer base. And this isn't the first time management has ignored players. The chip color change on the 4/8 table from blue to pink? Almost nobody liked it. Players spoke up. And just like now--nothing. No listening, no adjustments, no care. At this point, the place feels like our current government--quick to take your money, but not interested in listening to the people who actually keep the lights on. The players are the ones funding this place, and yet their voices couldn't matter less. It really feels like the people making these decisions don't play here, don't talk to players, and frankly don't care. There's no focus on improving the player experience--just unnecessary changes that frustrate everyone. Heartless, out-of-touch management. If you're going to make changes, at least make ones that *help* your customers, not push them away. If I see any changes or improvement, I will remove this comment.

I'm no longer a card gambler and only table game I play is Roulette in Vegas, but I still come here…read morefrom time to time now for the food at Haig's. I have no idea why it's called Haig's but it's a short order food honeyhole. It's hard to find a breakfast that's got this much value. Bacon, eggs, sausage, english muffin, pancakes for $8. All their lunches are filling and inexpensive. A great way to keep you fueled for multi hour table runs. They have American and Asian menus, while kinda taste the same, but they have some bangers. Staff is fantastic, hustler, hospitable, great service. Drink prices are chill and worth every penny. They will almost never cut you off unless you get violent or slur your speach bad, fall asleep. Parking is still terrible, parking across the street may get you ticketed/towed if you park there overnight, so try and park as close as possible to get on the cameras. Lots of homeless in the area, but none in the card rooms. Bathrooms are high traffic, but actually kinda clean. Even after all these years I'm still up on them eventhough with the legalization of online betting I still have reason to come here despite doing it all online or roulette in Vegas.
