A few years ago I was in a car accident (that wasn't nearly as bad as my recent one) and I saw another chiropractor in Santa Rosa. Even after a year of going there I still was suffering from neck pain! I have gone to multiple other chiropractors throughout the years and I can tell you none of those places can even compete to this office. From my first appointment, I was greeted with such warmth, friendliness, and dedication from Dr. Judevine and his truly amazing staff (KimJoy and Mira are so great!) I love that they listen to my problems and needs. Dr. Judevine explains what your treatment will look like, everything he's doing and why! He even figures out what things you are doing at home that might be contributing to your pain (how you sleep, if you work on a computer all day, etc) and gives suggestions on how to help your body. At this office you don't just get an adjustment but full body care, depending on your needs, from massage, electric stimulation, physical therapy/exercises, and even exercises to do at home. One pro tip for new patients: make sure the receptionist is at the desk when you arrive, or pay before you start your warmup, otherwise one of the interns (I honestly can't remember his name -1 star) might pull you off the equipment in front of everyone and treat you like a walk-out. This guy is such a tool. Over 40 mins late to both of my appointments, which wouldn't have been…read moresuch a problem if I couldn't hear ( and see) him talking to a coworker in his office across the hall about his weekend for 20 mins while I sat there waiting. Then seemed rushed during my appointment time, very condescending, kept talking over me, couldn't seem to answer any of my questions directly or clearly, seemed annoyed I even had questions and wouldn't just schedule surgery with him. The final straw was when he, without appropriate warning, bent my broken hand so hard I felt bones shift and started to pass out. When I told him it hurt too much his response was " well yeah it's broken it's going to hurt". When I said I was about to faint and asked for water he very dismissively said "yeah we can get you some" but then kept talking. Didn't get up from his chair, show any signs of concern, or even ask someone else to get water. As I continued to black out I leaned forward and put my head in my hand he coldly said "well don't do that, if you pass out you'll hit your head on my desk" and then walked out of the room leaving me completely ALONE to fully lose consciousness. When I came to there was still nobody in the exam room and I waited another 5-10 mins before his PA came by with water. Quite a while later, Mintalucci walked by the room and from the doorway (didn't even bother walking in) said "yeah that's just from the pain, it's called vasovagal but you'll be fine" and then walked away. I sat alone in that room for another 15 mins with zero check ins from anyone until I eventually felt I could walk and saw myself out. I have a great respect for healthcare providers and know that it's a hard job. But this was an appalling experience beyond words and I left the office feeling like I had been assaulted. I hope I caught him on a bad day and other patients have better experiences, but this all screams chronic burnout and toxic entitlement to me. Needless to say I found another provider and had an excellent surgery experience elsewhere.
