He then proceeded to aggressively ream me out for letting another mechanic change my oil. It was very controlling and creepy. His volatile and controlling behavior was shocking and made me hope that he does not treat his loved ones and his employees in this abusive way. I choose self preservation and am staying far away from this guy. Hope he finds some help. He certainly can't seem to keep his demons at bay.

An hour later I called to see if it was done and they put me on hold for 15 minutes and never answered. Then when I arrived I was told it would "be another 15 minutes." 25 minutes later the car was done. Two Hours and 30 minutes for what I was told would be a one hour visit. 1. It is simple consideration to tell the truth about timing so people can plan their day. 2. It would have been simple consideration to have called me about the delay. 3. It would have been simple consideration to have answered the phone instead of leaving me on hold 15 minutes. When I mentioned these things the answer I got was a shrug and "Well, it's that time of year." What time of year? Apparently the time of year to disregard customers. The prices and work are decent. The customer service is AWFUL-and for no good reason.

They seemed pretty good except that when I brought my car back home to New York to do my inspection the mechanic there said I needed new tires. My tires that I bought at Mavis about two months prior were already boiled on the inside. The mechanic in New York said probably whoever installed the tires didn't do the wheel alignment. I've been chasing Mavis since September 2 and the corporate office people keep brushing me off and telling me some imaginary person is going to give me a call and they never do. Stay away from this and all Mavis branches. Especially to buy tires unless you like buying them twice.

I want to Mavis to have my Honda Civic tires aligned, as I've heard that this area maybe this is a…read morepretty good one. I was not disappointed. I found this location to have pretty spot on mechanics and service advisors. I was able to get the work done in a reasonable time maybe an hour or an hour and a half. I went in the next day with my 2014 GMC truck to get the brakes flushed. When they attempted to do so encountered understandably a rusty bleeder valves on all four brake calipers. Instead of trying to take them off and possibly stripping or breaking them they did the smart move and Told me that the leaders were stripping because of the rust and rather than damage or break them they asked me what I wanted to do. Of course, I said that I have somebody that has more expertise with that issue(stubborn and rusty parts that need to come off ) and likely will have to torch some heat on them to get them off. I was very glad that they had the cognizance to stop and ask me first and I was very grateful for them doing so. Needless to say they did not charge me and I did manage to get the four brake bleeder screws replaced at another mechanic that I deal with exclusively for these issues. I will be back to visit this location to get service, as I feel very comfortable in doing so at the present time. Well done team!
