I took it home and found that half of the screen did not respond to any touch, and the color was so far off that it was almost gray scale. I took it back and they did not have another screen in their shop, but called the Orem store and they had one available. I got to the Orem store and they had a screen but the person that fixed them did not come in until 12:30 the NEXT day. I returned at 12:45 the next day and I was told the person was not yet in, but would be in any minute. They told me to leave my phone and come back in an hour and it would be fixed. I returned in 1 and 1/2 hours and they had not even started on it. They hurried to get it done, but it still took about 20 minutes. The phone works, but the color is still off. I only wish I had spent a few dollars more and had taken it to the Apple store. Buyers remorse.

He was very knowledgeable and efficient, getting everything set up in about an hour. When my phone was causing the CarPlay to glitch, he was very friendly and helped me troubleshoot until we got it working again. He was also reassuring and had great attention to detail, he was careful not to scratch my dashboard (something I was worried about) and the installation looks 100% professional. He even noticed one of my door speakers was going out and went out of his way to tune them a bit and recommend an affordable replacement on eBay. Instead of trying to sell me on something unnecessary, he gave me some pointers on how I could install it myself and save some money. It's always nice to find someone who genuinely puts the customer first like that. Really left a great impression and meant a lot. It was under warranty and I purchased Total Protection. GS chat subsequently advised me that I had dropped the laptop and had to pay for the repair. I absolutely did not drop my laptop! Chat rep advised me that Lenovo has a tech who is an expert in drop detection! How frustrated would you be knowing you hadn't dropped your laptop yet they argue that you did! I approved the charge and advised I would be disputing this after the fact and he ended the chat. I've bought 15-20 computers here in the past 5 years for multiple businesses. After approving the repair I was advised the parts are on back order so I went to PC Laptops and bought a new one. Best Buy just lost a great customer who spends more than the average! Was it worth questioning my integrity? Brick and mortar is disappearing and a good business knows they can't lose good customers! I have a Lenovo laptop for sale now!

The other day someone actually asked me if I was using a brand new computer after the fans/ keyboard/screen was cleaned at Computech. Service is always super fast and thorough. I don't know anything about computers, including my own laptop and these guys will never make you feel silly (As a woman, going into other tech shops, this is a common issue for me). Earlier this year, when my boyfriend was getting his computer "checked up", the tech noticed signs that the fans were close to dying - Computech got into contact with us and offered to order and install the fans. It's been that way for roughly 20 years...even before REVO started as a spin-off from "Software & More" there in Holliday. The PC consultant there from Software & More, Jerry, who helped build us our first custom desktop back in the early 2000s started his own company in Cottonwood Heights called REVO Technologies when S&M went out of business. We purchased our second gaming/workstation "Stryker" desktop from him eight years ago...AND a 17" "Falcon" gaming desktop as well for my personal use. Despite a few glitches/bugs here and there, both of these last two PCs have been performing admirably...as we've continued to patronize REVO for upgrades, repair, and tuning. The most recent purchase last week was for my wife's "Stryker" desktop which needed some Win10 tweaks due to some mistakes I made last spring with User Account Control and administrative privileges... oops. I dropped the desktop off with Chris - the repair tech - on Monday last week and by late afternoon he had it finished, updated, cleaned, and working like a top! I paid for the diagnostics/repair ($70) and the tuning/cleaning service ($70) which eliminated all of the nasty dust that had collected on the inside of the tower case. Yuk...but money well spent! We got it back home and the new Canon MF753Cdw color Laserjet All-in-One printer drivers installed perfectly. My wife is back in business! Woo-hoo. As in the past, excellent service from Jerry, Chris, and the pros at REVO. Well done, and again Five Stars for responsive and accurate service.
