Decors and service was great and staffs had cute uniforms. Tuna wasnt as fresh nor was the salmon, didnt enjoy well from our table and the server was kind to remove it off our bill. The lunch set menu was worth it, drinks menu was a picture book and fun to flip thru. Overall, nice picturesque establishment but food just ok. Shrimp tempuras and tiger prawns i ordered were delicious though, aside from the raw sushi.

Sexy Fish Miami - My Honest Review The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every dish looked like a work of art, and the restaurant itself is stunning. However, the portions were extremely small for the price. In my opinion, it's significantly overpriced for what you get. The atmosphere feels more like a luxury cruise ship on land than a unique dining destination. I'm glad I went and can check it off my list, but I left feeling that the experience was more about the hype and Instagram photos than the food itself. Nice to say "I've been there," but nothing truly special that would make me rush back.

We loved the experience at Sexy Fish. As a vegan, I didnt go hungry but I also wouldn't make this a frequent destination (very few options). The prices were high but not exceptionally high, especially for Miami (and Brickell in particular). The food was good but not exceptional--the lone vegan roll ("green dragon") was very basic. Crispy tofu salad was awesome. I had a hojicha & wildflower mocktail which WAS in fact exceptional. What you're really paying for is the ambiance though. Over the top. Think Vegas casino. Think set of a live action little mermaid. Photo ops galore. Definitely go in the bathroom and check it out! Service was good too. We somehow managed to get a same-day reservation and we were basically unfamiliar with how hyped up this restaurant is. The hostess on the phone stressed the dress code and noted "nothing too revealing" so we stressed quite a bit on what to wear and what would be too revealing (but it's Miami after all!). Once we got there we realized we stressed far too much...many girls and women were dressed in extremely skimpy outfits.

Such a beautiful restaurant. Of course it's one of the many popular restaurants located in Miami. Definitely a good spot to go out with the girls and get a picture in their bathroom. The food was decent in my opinion. The staff took a bit long to check on us when we needed to order or had any requests, but we also understand that this restaurant is busy. We ordered the corn fried rice, wagyu, and grilled octopus. My favorite out of the three would have to be the grilled octopus it was charred to perfection & had an amazing sweet salty glaze on it. The drinks were just okay!

We booked our reservation about three weeks in advance for Saturday night (April 25), but unfortunately had travel delays flying in from California. By the time we got to our hotel in Fort Lauderdale (after 5 PM), making it to Miami Beach on time just wasn't realistic with the drive, traffic, and rideshare wait times. We ended up canceling our reservation and took a chance by arriving later, hoping we could at least get into the bar/lounge. We got there around 8:30-9 PM and joined the standby line (only a few people ahead of us). They offered entry with a $50 per person minimum spend voucher, which honestly worked out perfectly since we already planned on ordering drinks and food. I'm so glad we stayed. The restaurant is absolutely stunning, beautiful design, great energy, and a whole vibe. We sat at the bar with front-facing seats, which gave us a perfect view of the entire space. The bartenders were amazing, drinks were phenomenal, and the food was delicious (perfect for sharing and smaller plates). They also had live entertainment, dancers that looked like mermaids, which added such a unique touch. Between the music, the ambiance, and the overall experience, it's definitely something you have to see for yourself. Dress code is strict, so definitely plan your outfit accordingly if you're going, it's part of the overall upscale experience. Yes, it's pricey, but you're paying for the experience, and in my opinion, it's worth it. Coming from California, we don't really have anything quite like this (at least not that I've experienced), so it felt really special. One thing to note: if you're expecting a traditional full dinner where you leave super full, this might not be the spot. It's more about smaller plates, drinks, and the overall vibe, which is why sitting at the bar actually worked out perfectly for us. I do wish we could've rescheduled our original reservation (the next available was 11 PM, which was too late), but everything ended up working out.

Sexy Fish is an restaurant that gives lounge/club -style energy w/ it's chic vibe. Sexy Fish has Japanese-Inspired Cuisine & is in the Brickell section of Miami. Close to other hang-out spots in Brickell, it seems as if every nightlife venue had a bit of a line when we visited Sexy Fish. Although we waited for about 30 minutes, it was a beautiful evening. Security was kind when we were allowed into the space. Sexy Fish is spacious-enough, however every section was full so we hung out at the bar area. Vibrant, colorful, over-the-top decor is the best way for me to describe what I viewed. Bar Staff gave us a menu so that we were able to order cocktails. Dinner Menu, Lunch Menu, their "Sexy Sunday" Brunch Menu - All of these have various Seafood options - including a Sushi Bar as well as Gyoza, Tempura, Fried Rice, etc. Cocktails, sake & mocktail options are available. Sexy Fish was definitely an experience. When I say it was a party going on, that is an understatement-lol. The DJ played music and people were standing in their chairs dancing. Boy, it was high-energy, dance party vibes throughout the establishment. The cocktails we ordered were good. Our favorite thing at Sexy Fish is the bathroom. I know that this may sound crazy, but the Bathrooms are a highlight when visiting Sexy Fish. What makes the bathroom so great? Well, the "Pink" bathrooms layout , the beautiful colors, etc. - Sexy Fish really has cool bathrooms-lol. Oh, & everyone hangs out in the bathroom. We proceeded to have quite a few lovely conversations w/ dope people about how beautiful the bathroom is - lol. People were taking pictures, etc. Happy Hour - Mon. - Fri. - 4pm - 7pm Thurs. - Sat. - 10m - Close Sun. - 5pm - 7pm Lunch - Mon. - Sat. - 12pm - 4pm. Includes a Starter, Main & a Dessert ($34). Sexy Fish has a Standard and Bottomles Brunch Menu. sexyfishmiami.com @sexyfishmiami

True Miami vibe! I highly recommend! The atmosphere is a vibe, food delish and the service was impeccable! The only thing is that the bathroom and the stairs leading up to the bathroom has become a total photo-op area. It gets crowded with people trying to take selfies when you just want to go the bathroom. Little inconvenience.

I really loved my experience at Sexy Fish in Brickell, Miami. It was my first time and I decided to come for my 25th birthday. We came in for the very reasonably priced lunch and I think it was really worth it. It's around $34 plus tax and tip for a 3 1/2 course lunch meal. The dishes were really delicious. The service is really impressive, they are very kind and professional and even when we were over 30 minutes late for our reservation we didn't have an issue. Ambiance: I have no words for the ambiance and decor of this restaurant. I mainly wanted to come for the decoration. It was incredible. (See pictures below) I highly recommend coming to Sexy Fish for lunch and for a good time.

I had a reservation at Sexy Fish in Miami but ended up running a bit late trying to make the lunch menu. I called ahead, and they let me know I could still come, just that I'd need to move quickly since they had back-to-back reservations. Fair enough. I checked the menu during my Uber ride so I was ready to order right away, and once I got there everything came out pretty fast. The server was helpful and kept things moving, which I appreciated. The decor is... a lot. Think Little Mermaid on steroids! Very over-the-top, flashy, and definitely designed for Instagram. The bathroom is cute, but good luck getting a mirror pic, there's basically a line of Gen Z girls taking photos the whole time. Overall, the food was decent and the experience was smooth despite the time crunch, but it's probably not somewhere I'd go out of my way to visit again.

I came here for Miami Spice for their 3 course meal and we loved it!! It was great going for brunch too because it wasn't busy and we were able to take all the photos we wanted without the hassle of crowds because you know they are famous for their stunning bathrooms. Their staircase is also a great photo moment too! They drinks were unique too according to my girlfriends, I don't drink alcohol myself. I also recommend coming at night sometime too because the entire inside looks awesome with the lights and the waterfall running. However I heard that their dinner dishes have been disappointing so maybe just stick to drinks at nighttime!

Went to Sexy Fish for my birthday dinner and overall it was such a beautiful spot for a girls' night. The ambience is truly stunning -- super aesthetic, dramatic, and perfect for photos. Definitely one of those places that feels like an experience, not just dinner. We did have to wait a bit for our table, but luckily there's a bar area so we grabbed drinks while we waited. Once we were seated, we ordered and of course had to go take pictures in their iconic bathroom. It was crowded, but we secured the pics -- worth it. The food was delicious and the mains really hit. Drinks were alright -- not bad, just not the highlight of the night. The music and overall vibes were great though, very fun energy for celebrating. The only downside was the birthday situation. I was really looking forward to the dessert platter, but they told us we had to order every course (including all courses of the meal) to qualify for it, which felt a little excessive. Since we didn't, we were given a strict one-hour time limit at the table, which felt a bit rushed considering we all ordered drinks and full main courses. That part was disappointing. Overall, gorgeous ambience and great vibes for a girls' dinner, just be aware of the policies beforehand if you're celebrating something special.

Came here on a recommendation and was not disappointed. Started off with the Yellowtail and Tuna sashimi. For entrees we went with the corn fried rice to share, as well as the blackened cod, and the lobster. Everything was delicious! Our server was attentive and constantly checked on us, to the point where we asked for a side of ponzu sauce and he whipped some there on the spot! As far as the vibe, it's definitely very colorful and artsy. If you're looking for an upscale dinner with high quality food and have some one to impress, this is your spot.

I will start by saying this place can be one of two things for folks depending on their income. For lower income (like myself) this is a one and done place. For higher income, I can see this being a periodical place to visit. Anyways my gf took me here for valentines day the decor is super nice and fancy. They do a lunch and dinner and split the time so if you come right before dinner starts (5pm) they'll ask you to wait at the bar and they'll come get you. Its so the kitchen reopens. The bar was cool. All the bartenders were super nice and attentive. Helping out with our drink orders and shooting the shit a bit with us while we waited. Then we were seated. The menu is confusing at first. Let the waiter explain it to you lol. We decided to order specific things then opting for the all in option they had. We got two rolls, dumplings, raw meat, a salad, edamame, octopus, meat skewer, donuts. The food is hit or miss. The good is really good and the bad is really bad. We didn't like any of rolls but those wagyu dumplings were to die for. My favorite! Drink wise happened the same. I loved something tiki, but the other drinks I couldn't tell you what the name is since I didnt really like them. Now normally I wouldn't judge a place by price cause you know what youre getting into when you do the research price wise. But you expect to like all the food. So for the price, id say its not worth it. The food was what I would call meh. I think the only reason people really come here is the decor and the great staff. Everyone is super nice and attentive. And the place looks cool. Perfect for photo ops. But this becomes a downside too. God forbid your a woman and actually have to use the bathroom, its like going through a battlefield. The women's bathroom is packed with women taking pictures of each other. Mind you, no one is rude or anything like that. Its just awkward squeezing through to a stall and again to a sink. I just know theres a picture of me out there slunked over the sink trying to wash my hands out there now lol I'd say if you are the poorer side but raised funds to burn. Do it once. Stick to the meats and bring your battlefield camera to take some photo ops along with the other soldiers in the bathroom.

Ask the Community - Sexy Fish Miami

Is there a minimum spend per person if you aren't in a large party?

I didn't run into a minimum amount I had to spend nor did I see anything like this on the menu or mentioned when I went. I was in a group of 4. 3 Adults 1 kid

When does the party start? What ist the best time to book a table?

I believe 9 or 10 pm the dancers and DJ start!

    Where is the garage parking?

I'm not sure there is one but there is plenty of street parking near by or right out front of the restaurant

    Is dinner kids friendly?

No. The menu is more tapas style. Not really kid friendly unless your kid has an advanced palate.

    Kids friendly for lunch?

You may take your kiddos but it's more of an adult ambiance as well as the menu.

Do you still have the lunchtime set menu?

Yes, the lunchtime menu has a normal menu and then a set menu also.

    1. Are you open 7 days a week now, and what are the times? 2. Can you order bites, appetizers at the bar section?

The drinks were really good! My only complaint is the price. Of course handcrafted cocktails are expensive, especially in Miami, but wow. The drinks were really small, and had so much ice that they ended up being not very many sips at all. The bar was lit, poppin' and vibrant. We were waiting by the end of the counter where they checked out other patrons near the sitting area. We were overlooked many times... I locked eyes with one of the bartender and she completely looked away from me.. several times :( took about 15 minutes and we reached our arms out and flagged bartender Reilly. Her greeting and attention was genuine so I was happy to get her. Unfortunately, she got busy and we got the initial lady that ignored us. She was not kind, not attentive and didn't really want to help us - she was very fake. With that being said, we had to remind her of our drinks after 20 minutes of placing the order, in which she responded with an attitude "it's being made. We're busy" -_- -_- :( the attitude was not needed. We watched others that came in before us being served. :( I was completely annoyed and upset. She didn't even bring the drinks to us like the other bartenders were doing, she made us get it. Poor service from this one bartender while the others were happy and servicing their patrons. After our first drinks, I noticed she spoke to her colleague and he came over and asked if we wanted to close out.. . Wtf kicking us out? We said no and he opened a tab. When she noticed we were ordering more, she was a bit more attentive. So wrong. Luckily, the drinks were delicious. Perfect. We did end up coming back to the Lasseter and got a gentleman bartender that was so kind and attentive and made our drinks even better! The attention to detail and love he made in my drinks, so that is why I decided to make make this a 3 stars rather than two. He saved this place. The toilet sitting area is very warm, not very air conditioned properly so expect to be a little warm especially after a couple of sips. It's also the walkway to an actual big restrooms for the whole building. The drinks are VERY pricy but the setting is perfect and makes up for it. Unfortunately, the service was not up to par. Disney priced drinks without the Disney customer service. Do I want to come back? Yes. Am I going to be picky with the vibes coming from the bartender and chose who to go to? Also yes. Hopefully, I can increase the rating.
