Special event for F1 and it was a complete miss. We booked a table for five with a $4,000 minimum and couldn't even bring ourselves to spend half of it--that's how bad the experience was. The music was honestly the worst I've heard at a Miami venue. It felt like a high school dance with an MC talking over every track and trying to sing along. Completely killed the atmosphere. What made it worse was the response from management. The manager came over, acknowledged the issue, and offered absolutely nothing--no adjustment, no effort to make it right, not even a gesture considering how far off the experience was from what was sold. I live in Miami and have been here multiple times, including hosting a 15-person birthday here not long ago that was great. This was the opposite. Something has clearly changed--and not for the better. For an F1 weekend event at this price point, this was unacceptable. This place is pretty incredible! The shows during the night were spectacular, specifically the acrobatics. The restaurant is beautiful- an old theatre turned into a restaurant. The service is superb as well. We went on a Wednesday, where they have $12 lychee martinis. Super good! We werent too hungry so just ordered the ceasar salad, potatoes, and some sushi to share. When I had ordered the C & P thinking it was pasta, low and behold it was mushroom. Did not like it at all. I have done the Omakase experience with chef Kamakura (spectacular) & I have sat in the restaurant for dinner where they have very cool aerial shows & a beautiful ceiling decorated with a huge disco balls and lots of lights that make you feel like you're in a spaceship. A couple of nights ago, we stepped into the luxurious world of the ultra-plush Queen, a trendy Japanese grill steakhouse on South Beach. What a fabulous place it is!! There are different colors of spotlights continuously shining every which way. And the loud sounds of EDM live music blasting away making your body move in time to the beat. The energy in the steakhouse is pulsating continuously. It took my breath away! I loved it! The service is first-rate at Queen. Our server, Antoine C, never stopped rushing from table to table to take extra care of his guests. He took excellent care of us the entire night. Our reservation was at 10:00 pm for dinner and the show. We left at about 1:30 am and he never slowed down. I ordered their popular USDA Prime Skirt Steak, which was cooked on the grill perfectly medium, perfectly seasoned, and perfectly delicious. It was accompanied with a chimichurri sauce, which was on the spicy side. My daughter ordered the Queen's USDA Prime Filet which was also perfectly cooked medium and delicious. It came with its own sauce. We also ordered the creamed corn and the smoked potato, which were roasted new potatoes. They both were in small dishes, which we shared. If you are hungry, order two of each. For drinks, I had a virgin Mojito, which was fantastic, and my daughter had the Madamoiselles cocktail. We had the Chocolate Souflle tart for dessert. It was an excellent experience. Queen automatically adds a 20% service charge to their bill. Valet parking only ($40). The DJ was fantastic with high energy music. The aerialist was incredible! The entire show was exhilarating. The crowd was friendly, excited and energetic. I'm still blown away by my experience here! I loved it all and can't wait to return. Service is good and staff are very nice and attentive. The food was amazing the first time but mediocre the second time. I feel as though they may not be consistent or with different chefs on different days. The first time I went was a Wednesday and the meal was 10/10, the second time a Tuesday and ordered the same thing because I loved it so much and it was not the same! Maybe a 8/10. I had the duck as main course. I honestly don't recommend. It was good (but not great). I'm not sure if it was how they cooked it but it was mot as flavorful as expected and just an overall greasy feeling when eating it. I booked my reservation for standard floor seating however they forced my group to sit upstairs in the balcony having to look over at all the excitement happening on the floor. Bartender interaction was alright but not up to bar with the high standards of this restaurant. The show, while brief, was nice and the acrobatic stunts were enjoyable. The DJ did a great job with the music. It was a highlight for me. It was a bit loud so if you want you have a deep conversation I would recommend you wait until you pick up the car and are heading home. The food was phenomenal and I loved the scallops and tuna pizzeta flatbread. I wish the flatbread would have been more plentiful because it was amazing! The Cacio E Pepe pasta was to die for as well. The meat was cooked to perfection and served over a steel rack. The sushi we ordered had king crab and I was super happy.
