Great people working there, great environment, great service, great drinks. If you're just looking for the cheapest coffee around, I'd head around the corner to L-Mo's bodega at the corner. That being say, quality at sey is gonna be 10X. These people care about what they're doing and it's clear to see. Highly recommend. Only limitation is that there are minimal outlets. If you're going to do work, make sure to grab a spot on the "bar" table against the wall to have outlet access. read more

Great coffee, nice service, and delicious beans. The space is nice and airy, maybe a little too airy. The space isn't as compact as I hoped it'd be to allow for more visitors to chill or work. Some of the best coffee anywhere in the country. The space is really nice, everyone working there is great, and the owner is always happy to engage in small talk about coffee, which makes visiting a lot of fun. But honestly, it's the quality of their coffee that makes them stand out. It's so far beyond what most people are roasting and selling. Excellent place for your coffee snob/3rd wave coffee lover. They do it right here with everything measured, grind times recorded, sparkling water to cleanse your palate, and some serious hardware (they have an SP9 coffee brewer). Gorgeous space with awesome light, custom-design wood bench seating, beautiful plants...yeah, yeah, yeah, how's the coffee? Luckily, these guys are nailing it on all fronts! The Morgan L stop used to only have 1 game in town for a spot serving espresso or cold brew and luckily those days are long past. I was scheduled to take an indigo dyeing class next door at Curious Corners at 10AM. I got there a bit early so I thought I'd get some coffee. It was my first time at Set and from the moment I opened the door, I was truly impressed. It was only minutes before 10 and the establishment was packed as if it was lunch time in midtown. This place must be that good I thought to myself. When it was my turn to order, the lady behind the counter smiled and asked me about my plans for the day and also shared an interest in indigo dye. I ordered an Iced Chai Latte with oat milk for $5, which I'm guessing is the BK price because they charged almost $7 in Manhattan. I requested to stay and watched as another lady with glasses prepared my drink. Clean and efficient she was. When you order to stay, they provide you with a wooden plate that has so medium sized holes that are engraved to place your cups. Yes, plural. One for your coffee and a complimentary seltzer water. The drink was delightful! I went to fetch for a straw and was amazed. The straws were in this lidded contraption that once you rose the lid, the straws simultaneously ascended in an umbrella effect. I was so happy with my experience at Sey! Highly recommend. The only two things I suggested they improve are the wooden plates, they're a little to thick and I almost dropped the plate.
