I had to leave the area of Tennessee to head through North Carolina, Georgia, South Carolina and now Florida. The item was not ready for came. Picked it back up and the item is still sitting in my car. Hoping I can find some place that can do it overnight. I would've felt much better if people would've actually admitted that it went and looked versus because obviously things get mislabeled and misplaced etc., but to admit zero mistakes zero fault is absurd then when I asked if a backup system if the computer system goes down, he said, yeah I said what is it but couldn't tell me he didn't have to tell me OK that's fine but I highly doubt you have any kind of backup system. His coding racks are not even he has to get rid of clothes after six probably get some profit off of them which is illegal and the fact you think I need to be compensated for and still try to seek compensation based on laws and not let him get away with this! And of course, when I went back 20 minutes later after reading laws and going through all of this, he was suddenly gone and nowhere to be found and when they went to look for him yes they said just a minute he was on lunch there but he was on lunch. but he didn't call me back. One of those shirts, a $70 dress shirt that he needed for a funeral, came back with a slit cut through the collar. When we brought it to the attention of the store associate, she immediately acknowledged that the damage happened at the cleaners. She even shared that they have several new employees who have been making a lot of mistakes. She was kind and apologetic, but explained that she had no authority to resolve the issue. The real frustration came when trying to reach management. Both the store manager, Jordan, and the owner, Jenna, were impossible to get in touch with, leaving the front-line employees to handle upset customers without the ability to help. When we finally received a response, the store manager claimed the shirt was not damaged at the cleaners and offered only a $20 store credit. Even more disappointing, she never had the professionalism or courtesy to speak with us directly. We've always considered Farragut Cleaners to be a reputable local business, which makes this experience even more disappointing. We are busy people with careers and family responsibilities, we certainly don't have the time or energy to fabricate a claim over a dress shirt. We simply expected accountability and reasonable customer service when a mistake was made. Mistakes happen. What defines a business is how they respond to them. Sadly, Farragut Cleaners chose to deny responsibility rather than stand behind their work, and because of that, we won't be returning.

Also they give a 10% discount if you are affiliated with UT. My shirt came back with some wrinkles that had been pressed into it when they were ironing. The whole reason I pay people to iron my clothes is so that they come back better than what I could do. I will not be using them again.

They were done on time and cleaned. Passed my husband's inspection! Whew! That's a high standard... I have brought them a faded, dirty, missing button, bright blue children's coat (of wonderful quality that I hated to lose) and they took it in, redid the buttons with some I had brought in, cleaned it within an inch of it's poor little life, and even brought back the color instead of fading it out further. I got handed a completely brought back to life coat. My good friend is a mortician, and a former preacher, and he has been bringing his Sunday suits here forever he said, and was the one that recommended this little gem of a shop. Yes, it's about $11 to $20 dollars a cleaning for winter coats, but we live in an exacting household that is incredibly fastidious about appearance. The ladies that work in the shop know us from the uniform now and have been taking care of us every time with fast and good quality work my meticulous USMC husband can seriously appreciate. The only thing I can recommend is try them out. Be polite. It's a crowded little shop on entrance, and squeezing in and out, is really only a half star off... I think it is run by a family, and they do tailoring right there in the front window. I would love for them to open the front window so you could tell that they have someone on site. The building is also right in my neighborhood! I can pop around the corner and walk there in a few minutes.

The location is a little sketchy (bars on the windows), but overall I was very pleased with the work. I got my dress taken in and hemmed. It was ready in a week. The work was good quality and the price can't be beat.
