Special mention to the staff, so welcoming and friendly. Been here a few times already, it's always bustling with people during the mornings. Service is usually quick. Food has been consistently good, ordered omelettes, french toast, waffles, avo toast etc. coffee could be better. Definitely recommend.

I might have picked the wrong day to visit Seymours and ordered the wrong item from the menu. I had heard great things about the place and was eager to give it a try. Unfortunately, my experience fell flat. The breakfast quesadillas and potatoes were lacking in flavor and felt a bit overpriced. Seymours is a very small restaurant that appears to always be busy. They have outdoor seating available during the spring/summer months which is a nice option. They have a lot on the menu for it to be such a small place. I'll give them another try this summer and will update my review! Stay tuned...

Their breakfast dishes are the finest in town and the staff very courteous and easy to deal with. Their food is eclectic and the menu diverse.

What a place! Went for a casual brunch and this was a hidden gem. Did not have any expectations, but this was way beyond what we could have imagined. My husband and I shared a couple of dishes and everything was AMAZING! Not only the food, but Nicole, what a special person! She made us have such a great time, went above and beyond, and gave us the best tips. We loved everything and would highly recommend! Ps - I'm obsessed and can't stop thinking about this mango chia pudding!

Such a nice spot for lunch and breakfast. The menu offers a lot of great things from waffles, crepes to açaí bowls. They have gluten free wraps and bagels. No gluten free buns tho. A lot of great sandwich & panini offerings too. The establishment offers outdoor dining as well as indoor dining. Very nice and cozy. Service was pretty good , although I did go during the lunch rush. So they were busy. The young lady who helped me was nice and attentive. Fresh squeezed juices and lots of smoothie offerings too. I feel like there is something for everyone even those who eat more on the healthier side. Come check them out!

Avocado on toast for $15.00 is a sin! I did not taste it. DoorDash added $3.00 to the price. A loaf of bread costs $4-5 and an avocado $1

I couldn't have had a better experience here at Seymour's even if I tried. Walked in Sunday morning close to 10:30am. We waited for a table for 2 for about 10 minutes. We were then seated with Nicole who was the highlight of our brunch experience. Nicole was attentive, friendly and efficient in everything she did. By the end of our visit we felt as if we were family. Besides the outstanding service the breakfast was equally wonderful. We ordered the short rib omelette, stuffed Nutella French toast, bacon and we also tried the overnight oats. The presentation was beautiful as well as delicious. It's rare to find a restaurant that delivers both exceptional service and an unforgettable meal, but this place truly does. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience. We will definitely be returning!

It's always so busy whenever I drive past that I chicken out braving the private parking lot in the back and the ordering queue inside. But today, I learned that it's all worth it because, true to their reputation, they have very good bagels here! Plus, the people working there are nice! I give a 5 star just for my everything bagel with cream cheese, lox, capers, onion, and tomato. It had all the right proportions of spread and toppings for a very good lox bagel sandwich. My hubs bagel was a cinnamon raison with butter. Their bagels are fluffy and chewy, so I would opt to keep it untoasted (my preference). While there's Starbucks nearby in the same building, next time I'll try the coffee from Bagel Nosh. They also had an assortment of Tropicana orange and fruit juices. The coffee dispensers and drink cold case are to the right when you enter. New Visitor Note: When you enter, head to the right to place orders. When it's packed inside, like when I visited for the first time, it can be confusing. You may need to ask other customers where there the line begins.

The process - order, wait, pay when your item is ready. Me - I make a quick trip next door to pick up my caffeine shot. I pay after placing an order, when there are less people. I come back, pick up my order, and return home for my meetings. Efficient and always accommodated by the owners / folks in charge with a smile. Today is not. The "person in charge" (tallest of them all) just blurted tersely "i dont have a ticket". As i was calmly explaining, she turned her back and did what she wanted to do, in my mid-sentence. Basically ignoring my request, without proper 'conversation'. It was not a text. it was a conversation. It was disrespectful and rude, especially when owner herself has always been gracious in accommodating the request. It will not be my intent to go back and be disrespected.

I went to Bagels by Jarrett tonight based on a recommendation from an Instagram influencer…read more I have to say, they have a weird setup. You can't go in the actual restaurant. If you ordered ahead of time, you park in front of the restaurant and wait in your car as a girl comes and gives you your order. Otherwise, you go into the restaurant next door, The Slice Shop, and order from a tablet. Odd. I wound up ordering The Cutlet Joe Triple Decker. It was a good sandwich, don't get me wrong, but it costs $22. That's kinda wild. It comes with a side of chips, pickles, and coleslaw. I also ordered a buffalo ranch slice from the slice shop, which cost $5. Also decent. I definitely appreciate the uniqueness of their menu, but I won't be returning for a long time due to the high prices.

Jarrett serves everything, and I mean everything -- bagels, pizza, cheesesteaks, subs...need gluten free? He's got that too The food speaks for itself...everything tastes fresh, perfectly textured, and is consistently excellent. But what really sets this place apart is the pride behind it. You don't get that rushed, transactional vibe here. You get someone who actually wants you to have a great experience, and it shows in every interaction and order. Customer service is second to none. Jarret is friendly, transparent, present, and genuinely invested in what he's doing. That's rare these days -- and it makes the whole place feel different in the best way. You feel not just satisfied, but impressed. Like you just found a spot you're going to keep going back to without even thinking about it.

Millburn has no shortage of delis, but Goldberg's Famous Deli is definitely at the top of the list…read more Goldberg's offers deli traditional favorites like fresh-baked bagels, lox, and sandwiches piled high with deli meats, as well as healthier options like salads when you want something lighter in an unapologetically casual ambiance. Goldberg's has been a local staple in Millburn since Tina and Marty Goldberg first opened the doors back in July 1977. The current owners took over in December 2022 and have done a fantastic job keeping the soulful and "old-school" Jewish-style deli spirit alive while making many subtle but meaningful improvements that today's diners expect and appreciate. However, it still has that authentic, "old-school deli" ambiance where you order at the counter then grab a table to wait for your meal and could end up with mismatched silverware. It's charmingly low-key and with a focus entirely on the food. The deli sandwiches are massive and the quality of the ingredients is consistently high. Unfortunately, that also means that the prices are somewhat higher than you might expect. A single deli sandwich served with a small bag of potato chips is in the $20-$22 range, which feels like a bit of a splurge for a casual lunch. That said.. You definitely won't leave hungry and the portion sizes encourage sharing or taking half of your dish home for a second meal. My dining companion and I split the West Orange sandwich, made with corned beef, turkey, russian dression, and cole slaw, on rye bread, which was excellent. We'll definitely be back. PRO TIP #1: Bring your wallet. I do feel obligated to point out that Goldberg's should be rated as a $$ / moderate price range (indicating $11 to $30 per person) rather than a $ / inexpensive price range (indicating under $10 per person). PRO TIP #2: While they don't have a private lot, there is plenty of on-street parking and municipal lots nearby. Use the mPay2Park app for the pay-by-plate meters ($0.50 per hour). Meters operate Monday through Saturday from 8am to 7pm; all street meters are free after 7 pm and all day Sunday. If the street is full, the Essex Street parking deck (24 Lackawanna Place) is a reliable backup.
