Great prices, great service, and great food. I ordered the corned beef hash wrap with the mustard on the side because I wasn't sure how I would feel about mustard and eggs but it was great! The corned beef is homemade and was exactly what I was looking for. The guy behind the counter was genuinely friendly and welcoming to everyone. Not sure if he was the owner but he kinda gave off those vibes. The dining room was empty while I was there but a few people came in for takeout while I was there so I get the feeling that most people get their food to go. Definitely give it a try if you are in the area. I don't think you'll find anywhere else putting out food that good for so cheap. read more

These guys have mastered the limited breakfast menu. Excellent food and careful service. Come here for breakfast and lunch sandwiches. This place is owned by the Sabetino pizzeria people across the street and it shows. Excellent recipes and they care for details -- mancheco cheese, crispy rosti hash browns, very tasty ham. I ordered delivery from here (DoorDash). It was refreshing to have an interesting vegetarian sandwich on offer in a sea of meaty Italian sandwiches. I got the roasted portabella sammy on rosemary focaccia. It comes with tomato confit, pickled red onion, sautéed kale and olive tapenade, yum. It was quite tasty and even though it looked kinda small at first compared to gut busters from some other sandwich shops it proved to be plenty filling. I'd love to see more creative vegetarian offerings from Valley Street and other local spots as well. Thanks for an option other than mozzarella and tomatoes! I'm not vegetarian but it's nice to have a meat-free meal now and again. read more

Wanted to try a new place for a THEC. Found this place and I ordered the sandwich and a coffee. They have been open 3.5 years. The place is spotless clean. It has a parking lot. The service was spot on and very friendly. The THEC with SPK came out. The Taylor ham was 4 thin slices charred and just how I like it. It appeared to have 2 eggs on it. And cheese. There could've been more cheese and less ketchup. All I seemed to taste was ketchup and pepper. The roll was soft. I do recommend this place and I will be back. read more

This place hasnt been open long and we have been meaning to hit it, and im kicking myself for waiting. Number one.....PARKING LOT!!!!!!! thats a bonus. Sabatino and Matt are some of the best chefs in Maplewood. Valley Street eatery make some of the best food locally. They just catered an event for me and my guests couldn't stop talking about the food it was so delicious and the presentation was spectacular. They made a fantastic lemon chicken with potatoes they brought sausage and peppers, couscous a yummy pasta salad, a platter of Greek food and their delicious Cobb salad and beautiful fruit platter. I could not have asked for a more perfect meal! If there's anything I can say is go enjoy their food and if you need any sort of catering go ask them first! read more

I've blown by this place at least four times a week walking to and from the train and always with the thought of "I wonder what the serve in there?" since you can't really see inside from across the street. Welp, one fine day the wife and I went inside for lunch. She got the Reuben and I for the pork sandwich. Both were very tasty, but if I had to pick one it'd easily be the Reuben. Very nice renovation and I like the concept very much. The prices were reasonable and the service was strong. My issue was I ordered a bacon egg and cheese and the egg and bacon tasted like vegetable oil. It overwhelmed even the bread. So, I may give one more chance but hopefully they stop with the oil or it will sadly be off the list. read more

I love the location and that it has a parking lot. Menu selection is good. I ordered two breakfast sandwiches. I'm sad to say it was the most tasteless breakfast sandwich I have ever had. I can't pinpoint it but it had zero flavor - no flavor on the toasted bread, egg, meat...I wonder if it was all cooked in plain vegetable oil with no seasoning? I also waited 20 minutes for the two sandwiches after I had already called in advance 15 minutes prior. I really want to love this place, maybe I'll try again? read more

So glad that I went back - had a breakfast burrito with the potato rosti. It was wonderful. My husband devoured his Taylor Ham and egg sandwich. He is hoping that he can convince them to sell the potato rosti separately as well. Their coffee corner is well supplied with cream, milk, and a non-diary option (can't remember if it was oat or soy). There is even a jar of mini-marshmallows if you prefer hot chocolate. read more

Ate here a couple weeks ago to celebrate Juneteenth with my family. My freind got a Cubano which she said was excellent. I got a THEC , though the Taylor ham tasted more like pork roll than Taylor ham. My daughter enjoyed her smash burger almost as much as the one she gets at the chain! I got a chicken cutlet sandwhich to go which i think i would have preffered with thousand island over russian dressing. Very freindly service though, the cook Mutt seemed very passionate and the owner Savatino was extremely kind and professional. All in all great little place. Will be back. read more

Outstanding... Had the spicy turkey sandwich and potato leek soup. The sandwich was served on a fresh surprisingly soft ciabatta. It was more the texture of a dumpling (not exactly but soft)... I was caught off guard as I typically like my bread with a crunchy exterior but this departure was actually quite good. The aioli was excellent... not too much... not too little. The soup... good god, the soup. It was close to perfection. Usually when you go out anywhere they dump tons of salt into soups and you just have to hope any lump you consume was actually food. Not here... zero... and I mean ZERO lumps. Puréed to a fine cream, this may have been the best potato leek soup I've ever had... Not that I've had a ton of potato leek soup... but it's great. nicely designed interior. Reasonable prices. The folks there were very friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I'll definitely be back. read more

I stopped here for lunch, ordered a tuna sandwich, all I could taste was bread they hardly put any tuna salad on it I guess they are used to making cheap sandwiches or I should say skimpy sandwiches for the high school kids that come in there every day, I would not recommend going here if you want something that will actually satisfy you for the price that they charge. read more
