The only reason I found out was because I called the day before to confirm. What makes this even more frustrating is that when I previously missed an appointment, I immediately took responsibility and offered to pay any fees associated with the missed visit out of respect for the practice's time. Yet when the practice decided to close and cancel patient appointments, I received no notification whatsoever. Had I not called, I would have driven over an hour to the office, sat through traffic, rearranged my schedule, and shown up for an appointment that was never going to happen. Patients deserve the same courtesy and respect that they are expected to show their providers. I understand that businesses close, but failing to notify patients with scheduled procedures is highly unprofessional. After multiple visits and treatments at this office, I expected far better communication. Very disappointing experience.

This appointment was hurried and chaotic (I heard him tell his assistant to take off my numbing cream because he had an appointment to get to), without the cooling support measures I had received during prior treatments, which made an already painful procedure more stressful. I am still hoping there will not be any lasting skin damage or scarring. Recovery has been far more difficult than anticipated (one month out and still significant streaking and redness), and I ultimately sought two outside opinions and continued care with another doctor. In my experience, the approach and communication style felt somewhat outdated compared to other providers I've seen.

She was super friendly and did a great job on my sensitive skin! I was glowing when I left! I can't wait to go back. I was originally scheduled with nurse Hana for Botox but then I was switched to Dr Kelsey Lipman at the last minute after my facial. I am so very grateful that I was! Dr Lipman took her time with me. I felt that she genuinely listened to my concerns and she was patient.(Even though it was already almost 5:00 and I'm sure she wanted to go home). She addressed all my concerns and all of my questions, which were numerous. This was my first time getting Botox and discussing fillers with any doctor. Dr Lipman made me feel very much at ease and made sure I had thorough understanding of everything. She was not pushy at all. She respected the fact that I wanted to have a lighter approach, and she tailored her technique to what I wanted. Dr Lipman really knows what areas to inject. I could tell by her process of telling me how to move my face, and strategically placing the shot, she *really* knows what she's doing. Obviously, Dr. Lipman has a great education but bedside manner is something that cannot be taught- it is intrinsic. Dr Lipman was super kind. When she did the first injection in my glabella, I started hyperventilating and freaked out. I have a needle phobia going back a long time, and I'm diagnosed with panic attack and anxiety disorder. The shot felt weird, since I was not used to it. I freaked out and said, "I can't do this anymore. Please stop!" She immediately stopped and said, "No problem at all, just relax and breathe, you don't have to do anything you don't want to do." Then she smiled and said, "Hey I'll be right back. I have something for you!" So here I am, trying to calm myself down because I just freak out about needles like that. (It stems from massive dental trauma when I was young). I really wanted the Botox though, I wanted that gift for myself. Dr Lipman came back in with a synthetic breast implant! She told me what it was and said ,"Many patients find this is better than a stress ball." Lol I had never seen or felt a breast implant before, so this was already novel and also amusing. She was totally right! It was actually extremely soothing. better than a squish ball to squeeze for stress! LOL so I'm cracking up about squeezing this breast implant and feeling much better about things so I asked her to please continue. She did, and she took her time and reminded me to breathe and told me when to relax. It was great, and totally not painful. Plucking my eyebrows feels worse. She was fabulous, she recommended when I should take breaths in when she's going to do the injections, and the whole procedure moved really fast. Many of the injections were completely painless, this was all my own psychological doing that freaked me out. I I highly recommend Dr Kelsey Lipman for any of your cosmetic needs. She really impressed me with her customer service skills and caring for me as a patient. Due to a personal history of anaphylactic shock, I had some concerns about a potential allergic reaction. Dr Lipman was kind enough to share her cell phone number with me in case of an emergency so I can call her right away!! I really value that service and compassion. This high level of care has been something that's been very rare throughout my medical history. Thanks again Dr Lipman, you are amazing! I look forward to next time.

I went in to make an inquiry for someone and was surprised this listing wasn't on the maps yet, perhaps the center is too new, I'm not entirely sure why. In any case, the setting is nice and quant and so is the atmosphere inside. The building is designed to architecturally fit with the rest of the neighborhood. There are many medical offices around there on Altos Oaks drive, mostly dental and ophthalmology practices. The entire area looks like a residential neighborhood, and so all the medical buildings look like they could be residential houses (or could have been?), as in someone's home. Inside the medical center structure, there are two floors. The Surgery Center is on the 1st floor, and there's a Cosmetic Surgery Clinic on the 2nd, where medical appointments are held. They have a refreshment corner upstairs, where instead of your typical water cooler there's cucumber water readily available to be had in plastic transparent single use glasses (instead of paper cups I'm used to seeing at medical offices everywhere). The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. The Surgery center is open from 6:30 am to 5 pm on weekdays. Both are closed on weekends and holidays, the closest emergency room being at El Camino Hospital 24x7x365 on 2500 Grant Road.

updating my review to one star after finding out how much damage the altos oaks surgeon did to my…read moreface. it could not be repaired with one $30k revision, and i need a third surgery to try to fix what their surgeon did to my sinuses. when i asked their doctor if my case was too complex, he laughed at me. then be proceeded to botch the operation, leave me horribly disfigured, and moved to arizona two months after completely mangling my face. altos oaks never called me, never took responsibility, and never offered followup care alternatives -- my money was already in their pocket. deplorable, greedy, and poor excuse for a medical practice.

It's almost a year later and I am thrilled with my results! She did phenomenal and the healing was seamless. I am having another procedure in February. I will update my review after!

I had a breast augmentation with Dr. Jennifer Weintraub this March and cannot recommend her or her…read morestaff highly enough! I spoke with five different surgeons in the Bay Area and she really stood out for her professionalism. More so than any other surgeon, my consult with her felt like a medical appointment as opposed to a sales pitch. She went into my medical history and went to great lengths to understand the results I wanted to achieve, especially as a smaller person trying not to go too big. She was honest, patient, and highly informed and willing to go into great detail about the procedure, which I really appreciated. Jolie (the practice manager) was also fantastic for laying out all of the details of the surgery and making sure it went smoothly. I trusted her enough to try a new implant (Motiva) that she hadn't worked with previously and do not regret my decision at all. The surgery itself went very smoothly and I had a surprisingly quick recovery (2 days of bedrest for 215-230cc implants under the muscle). Dr. Weintraub and Jolie were very responsive with the questions I had about aftercare. Three months post-surgery, I'm incredibly happy with the results and keep getting great feedback about how natural they look and feel! 10/10 would recommend this practice and working with Dr. Weintraub especially. Note: A lot of plastic surgeons will go to great lengths to market themselves, taking out advertisements and promoting their business so it's at the top of search results. I heard about Dr. Weintraub from a friend-of-a-friend and was way more impressed with her than all of the top-billed surgeons I consulted with. She doesn't advertise as much, but honestly she doesn't need to.
