We chose this place to get some blue prints done. We were supposed to pick them up today When I went in the person who came to serve me gave me my printout and I paid the money. He gave me a business card that had the name "Kumar Parera" printed on it, for any other jobs I might have. I went home, where I discovered that they had handed me someone else's blue prints! That's an understandable mistake. So I called and asked to speak with "Kumar". When Kumar came on the phone, I told him that he has mistakenly given me the wrong printout. He then started speaking very aggressively to me, and raised his voice , insisting that he had not given me anything! I then told him that I was just in the shop about 15 minutes earlier and had paid the money to collect printouts. He started raving about me "accusing" him of giving me the stuff when he didn't. Do I told him that he was very rude and had poor customer service. I then asked who gave it to me and he said he did not know. I told him it was a person who had been speaking Marathi on the phone when I went in, who gave me the packet. He continued with his raised voice, insisting that there are "so many" people who work there. After an unpleasant exchange, a person called Vinayak" or a similar name came to the phone and told me that it was him that had given the packet to me, and that I was accusing his colleague of having given me the wrong stuff. He also said that just because he gave me Kumar's card did not mean that the person was Kumar. he then told me to return the wrong blueprint and only then I would get my money refunded. When I told him I'd like to complain about his conduct to the owner, he told me he was the owner!! Do my husband went there returned the other persons blueprints. He then declined to provide us with our blueprint that we had ordered earlier, and refunded the money! RUDE UNPROFESSIONAL UNRELIABLE Terrible experience!! read more

Thank you SFO Reprographics for your patience while processing my small order. I brought two delicate pencil drawings on vellum, drawings that took about one hundred and fifty hours to draw, to be digitized and bond copies printed. The drawings are black lead on vellum and include dense pencil work that depict plantings for a landscape. Before processing my drawings, I requested and received a scan of a test sheet that I provided on the same type of vellum with the same pencil grades used in my other, more elaborate, drawings. I was concerned, as other draftspersons and artists have mentioned on-line, that the duplicating machine, particularly this type that uses rollers to feed the paper, might smear fine pencil work or otherwise damage fragile drawings; hence my desire to check the results of a scan of a test sheet. The proprietor allowed me to examine the scan of the test sheet on his computer monitor prior to processing the two more elaborate drawings. The scan was processed at 300 dpi. The digitized scan of the test sheet confirmed that the duplicating machine did not smudge, smear, or otherwise damage my fine pencil work on the fragile vellum. Also, there was no ghosting of the image. The proprietor did not use a sleeve that may be used to protect pencil work on drawings. Even light lettering guidelines, drawn in lead hardness 4H, were slightly visible on the scan of the test sheet. This is no guarantee that your drawing will produce the same results; your experience may be different. After I approved the test sheet scan, the proprietor completed the order and the digitized copies and bond copies are beautiful. The scan was so fine that areas where I could not clean my extraneous graphite marks on the original drawings (slight smudging due to my drafting equipment) were only slightly visible in the scan and bond copies. For your information, I used 18" X 24" 100% rag vellum and the leads I used on the drawings were lead hardness 4H, 2H, H and B. The test sheet I provided included horizontal and vertical pencil lines in those various pencil grades along with lettering. I used H hardness lead for lettering on all the drawings. Again, this is no guarantee that your drawing will produce the same results; your experience may be different. If you are the least bit worried about the duplicating process damaging your original drafting or artwork, I suggest you prepare, scan and print a test sheet; it's not prohibitively expensive. If needed, there is a much more expensive duplicating process (flat bed) available to duplicate fine artwork that does not touch the original. Also, do check prices prior to your order with all duplicating businesses you are considering since prices vary somewhat due to the number of copies that are made and the processing fees, particularly with a small order. Since this type of information (types of service and price information) is difficult to describe over the phone, it would be helpful and save customers' and proprietors' time if the few duplicating places that can perform this type of work in our area were to at least fully describe, on their webpage, their services, their print run and processing fee thresholds as well as display the prices prominently in the store. I contacted by phone several copy places that could process my small order and found, after much conversation, that they were all reasonable, within about 20% of each other. Another duplicating business provides cost estimates via requests sent through e-mail. I hope this review is helpful; it's my first on-line review. read more

Just went in for some last-minute scans/copies of architectural drawings. Mohammed was clearly very busy, but happily accommodated my request. Not only was he genuinely kind to me, the way he spoke with the customer before me, as well as his employee was a kind of management I rarely see these days. Aside from his kindness.... First person I dealt with there was Mo. He was great. Recently heard that Mo left and now I'm dealing with Kuma. Also great. Very fast response by email. Quick turnaround time on orders. And so far their prices are the lowest. I'm printing 11x17 building plansets and letter-sized. Went to another press for one job because I was out of town and in a bind and the bill came out to 3 times what they are charging me at SFO.. read more

I came in here for a scanning service of an art print- I was informed that this wasn't a regular service but they were able to accommodate my request immediately. They were very kind and patient with me; and I highly recommend this more than the commercial places like kinkos or office max. read more

I was quoted a verbal price on prints and was later charged 40% over that. The employees (family) and the owner gave me such a hard time and refused to charge me what was originally verbally quoted. All employees essentially comforted me along with the owner when I brought this matter up. They made me feel out numbered and very uncomfortable so I left, I've dealt with printers all my life but never felt so disrespected as a paying customer and oblivious they have no concept on how they should conduct business. Never will return. A warning be sure to first get sure to get a written quote from them better yet go somewhere else for your printing business. read more

Avoid if at all possible. I walked in recently and stood waiting while three employees were lounging and chatting for almost 10 minutes. I was the only person standing in the front area. I was also the only person in the building wearing a mask, which they clearly request you wear on their front doors. One of three employees finally notices me and says "oh look". The employee closest to me turn and says "what do you want?" Thinking I heard him wrong with such a rude statement. I said "I am sorry I couldn't hear you". He walks two stepscloser to the corner of the front desk where there is less of a plastic shield. And yells "what do you want?" I reply I am a client here to pick up a blue print order or and (provided the company name)" he replies "who are you" and I again said "I am a client who is picking up an order for (company name)". He asked again who? And I replied with the company name. He then asks, "what is it" and again I tell him it's a blue print. He walks to the back and comes out with said blueprint. He throws it on the counter and steps back and yells "ten dollars" I start to pull out my credit card and he wave his and at me and says, "no card, cash only" I look around at all the signs and tell him "there are no signs saying you are cash only" and he replies, "we don't do credit card for less 15 dolllars". I look again an say "where is the sign saying this?" He yells again "ten dollars cash" at this point I didn't want to give him any money and told him "never mind, you have been rude to me ever since I walked in, making me stand here for almost ten minutes and every word your have been yelling at me has been rude, keep the print job." I could have easily gone out to my car and grabbed ten dollars but ultimately between rude service and the fact they're all not wearing masks, I had already risked enough exposure. I've never been this poorly treated in this area before. Sad. read more
