We used roadside assistance through the insurance company after our son broke down on a random street. We used the info my son had for his location and this company was dispatched. They claimed they drove to the location and he wasn't there. The guy said he called the number for my son, which he did not. After calling the insurance company we were able to get his coordinates, and it was the exact info we had submitted the request for. It was around 5pm so we figured he just didn't want to help a stranded kid out. read more

Absolutely blown away by the incredible service we received from Jordan and the team. We were stranded in Bryce Canyon National Park in 6 ton Sprinter Van and they made a terrible experience so much better. Jordan went above and beyond to try and fix us on site, and when he couldn't he towed us 2.5 hours back to Saint George making sure that our van was safe in the process. We cannot recommend SG3 any more highly. Hope to not need their services again but we feel so good knowing they are there when we are in the area. read more

It was 1:30am my insurance company didn't notify me they weren't sending a tow truck for my flat after service was requested. I called SG3 and immediately got an answer. He was super accommodating over the phone. Got to me super quickly as I was on the side of the 15 in pitch black weather. And fixed my flat in no time at all. UPDATE: Followed all the instructions that Gunther, the owner, told us to do. Stating he would waive the fee should we have an officer call in. Gunther lied. Officer called us to state that he spoke with Gunther. Gunther told the officer that there would be a fee associated with picking up the key. The officer apologized profusely to us regrading what Gunther was doing and stated how bad be felt regarding the situation. If I could give zero stars I would. Due to an oversight, not realizing registration was expired on our vehicle, it was impounded by SG3 Towing and Recovery. When my family member was trying to find the house key from what the officer had given back, they realized that the house key was still with the car keys, with SG3 Towing. We asked to pick up the house key, due to having pets in the home and not being able to leave them until Monday, when Gunther with SG3 Towing, told us we can get the car out. Gunther, the owner stated he was going to charge us $500 to pick up our house key. Surprised, we confirmed what this was only to pick up the house key, nothing more. Gunther told us that UT State law does not require him to have anyone at his lot, and therefore, would charge us $500 (on top of the impound/storage fees) for someone, or himself, the owner, to go get the key. Gunther claimed it's the middle of the night (9:50p) saying if we didn't want to pay him that money, then we'd have to wait until Monday, regardless that we had animals inside the home. Gunther then inquired a third time if we would do anything for free, "Of course we would, if we knew that someone was in a rough situation, and had pets in the home and wouldn't be able to get their keys for three days, we would absolutely help them out. We wouldn't take advantage of anyone's situation to make a quick buck, knowing that we'd receive payment regardless. It's good customer service and helps a bad situation a bit more bearable." Gunther, not impressed with the answer, claimed he would have to do that once a weekend if he did it for us. He then went on to say that unless an officer calls him to tell him to give us the key, he wouldn't do anything for free, and we'll see him on Monday and hung up on us. Not impressed with the customer service at all. Especially that Gunther, the owner, feels that this is the appropriate way to scam money from people. As an experienced off roader, I often take my dogs for hikes up the mountain to either hike trails or play in the snow. Unfortunately, I got deeper into snow than expected 5 miles off the main highway and couldn't get out. Thankfully, some rock climbers were close by and gave me a ride home. Called SG3 and Spencer told me he could get to me in a couple hours. Although it was late afternoon when he picked me up, he was confident it wouldn't take much to get my truck out. As we headed towards the location of my truck, we encountered a woman with another passenger and a small child that had slid off the road into the muddy shoulder. We decided to stop and get her quickly back on the road (as a courtesy pull) before proceeding up the mountain. It was dark by the time we got up to my truck and he had to put chains on before he could start the recovery. Attempting to back out and get turned around for a better position to my truck, a brake line got caught be one of the chains and forced us to stop until he could get further assistance from a fellow tow specialist. Casey arrived a couple hours later providing Spencer with tools to get his truck safely moving again and we proceeded with the recovery of my truck out of the snow bank. They had my truck out and on firm ground within an hour. Despite the mechanical trouble and delay waiting for assistance, the recovery went extremely well and I commend Spencer and Casey for the positive attitude and dedication to do what was necessary to get my truck back on the road. A long night, but reasonable rate despite the time and difficulty to extract my truck out of the snowbank and get home. I will call these guys in a heartbeat if I find myself in need of towing ever again. read more

The man that was sent was super amazing when he got there. It only took an hour, we met he said he would tow my car to the place I had requested. I told him specifically to put my car key in the drop box at the auto shop and leave my car unlocked. I called my auto shop the next day and my key had been lost. After hours of searching the outside of my LOCKED car we called SG3 and they had left the key in the car and locked it. They had to break into my car. Great customer service, terrible execution. read more

My mom and her friend were stuck in the middle of nowhere, this company said they would go get them and their phone died. They had no charger or anything and they left them stranded there for hours upon hours. I do not recommend this company because if your life depends on it, they'll leave you stranded. read more
