This was the first time I had any tire trouble on the road so I was a bit frantic. I quickly pulled off to the shoulder while I saw my tire just bouncing around on the road :( eventually landing right next to me on the shoulder.. My first call directed me to Anytime Towing, and they got a guy out to me right away. The lady on the phone was very nice and comforting. I was 5mi away from their location but the tow guy came about 1hr - 1.5hr later. He said he got held up, but honestly I was just happy someone was available on a holiday weekend to help. He was nice, professional, and helpful and changed out my tire very quickly. Also pumped up the spare's PSI to try to match the diameter of my other tires. I initially asked if he could tow me to Vegas (85 mile away) to a tire shop and this was going to be a whopping $430 ! So I opted to drive like a grandma on my spare instead lol. Given the distance and my car being Front Wheel Drive, he moved my blown out tire to the back so I'd have good tires in the front. My tire pressure light stayed on during my drive to Vegas but I made it safe and sound! Overall, Anytime Towing is my savior. Thank you!

His Ace mechanic looked things over and gave me a fix to get me home to Phoenix without having to stay a day or more for a permanent fix. Mesquite Towing accommodated me, my wife, and my German shepherd dog. I had to be towed to Vegas from mesquite in 107 degree weather. When AAA couldn't help, this company could. They were there within the 30-45 minute window, albeit on the tail end of it, but even so I've never had any service provider show up on time. They're always at least an hour later than their window. I'm definitely recommending this company if you get stranded. The price was also reasonable in my opinion. 2011 GMC 2500HD quad cab, less than $500. Back home it would have been as much as triple.

But as I was about to leave and cross the very large desert, grandma got into my head again and said "did you check your oil?" She wouldn't get out of my head! I turned away from the freeway exit, pulled over into a parking lot, and sure enough the oil looked low. What? I really needed to get on the road for the long haul ahead of me and I wasn't that familiar with this particular car to get into adding my own so I stopped by A-1 and they were so wonderful. They had just opened and saw me anyway and had me quickly and safely back on the road even though I was that annoying person who should have planned ahead and had an appointment while I was in the town. They were super nice too. Moral of the story: Listen to your grandmother the first time, go to A-1 for auto repair.

Needless to say, I lost about 75% of my coolant in about 5 seconds. USAA my insurance company put me in contact with B&B Towing which I believe is the associated towing company of Mesquite Auto Service Two parts to this review - 1. The dispatcher: when I called them (Mesquite Auto Service) to confirm that USAA told them I only needed coolant, they verified that they would send it. When the tow truck arrived, the drive had NO COOLANT and was just told to tow me to Mesquite. Hmmm. So I called the dispatcher back who began a song and dance about thinking I needed a tow. Blah, blah blah. My suspicion is that they were looking for the full-tow payment from my insurance company as well as the repair cost instead of a simple coolant refill. But fortunately someone saved their bacon and mine... 2. The tow truck driver: Royce is his name. When he told me that he didn't have coolant and that he was just dispatched to tow me in to Mesquite he could tell I was not happy. So he made some calls of his own and 20 minutes late his partner showed up with two full containers of coolant. They topped me off and helped do a quick leak check before I hit the road. The entire time, Royce stayed out there in the 105F heat with me and even offered a nice (and welcome) cold bottle of water. Very nice guy, and didn't pull any BS. The review would have been a 5 star if it weren't for the dispatcher. Again, my assessment of his 'misunderstanding' is mere suspicion but based upon his flaky response over the phone etc. However, if it weren't for Royce, this would be a 1 star review. Thanks Royce!

In less than three hours all the work was successfully done, drove to storage yard for the trailer and headed home. Overall an excellent experience with Big O Tires.
