Seen the FB post from Armor Metals in Pennsauken and decided to check it out. Stopped in the office since it was my first time. Got some directions and backed up to one of the doors unloaded my presorted recyclables. The worker weighs your stuff writing down what it is ( i.e. Copper, aluminum, motors, computer components, etc. He then gives you your results on paper to take to the office and be tabulated up. Different prices depending on what is in. Some of the smaller computer components like memory were taken up to a smaller scale. I was given some good advice for getting a better price by simply popping off the aluminum fins and taking out the chips on the boards first. That right there is a sign of doing good for your customers! Definitely will be back when my next load is ready.

They'll make you want to scrap They are located on Ontario street beyond Richmond street down almost to the dead end. Their hours are great, opening up early, 7AM and Monday through Friday closing at 7PM. But please, don't pull in at 6:50 like hey I'm going to unload. Scale closes at 6:30. Now they take almost everything. If you aren't sure, give them a call. One thing I don't agree with is they don't give prices over the phone. Their prices haven't gone up since May '13 despite the economy getting better(says who). I discovered the other day a lunch truck does stop in there so if you've missed a meal and are in the yard after noon, you could get a soft pretzel and a water. So do your part and get paid for it.
