I'm a First time BMW owner, got it from my cousin, an E90, driven by my daughter. Suddenly she came home with the dash started having sensor lights on with Brake lights, tire sensor, engine and maintenance lights. Decided to take it to SGV Bimmer because my cousin suggested and with great reviews. Got there, nice and clean shop with a "home" feel, I met Clement and Peter (Lam wasn't there), all friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They diagnosed and told me the condition of the vehicle. I said YES to all the needed repair considering it will be my daughter driving it. Thought the repair was going to take several hours but after a couple of hours it was already done. That was a quick one. Clement reiterated that quality of work is their number 1 priority. They only use Genuine BMW parts. We took it for a test drive and what a difference. The E90 pulls hard without any lag, smooth and most importantly the sensor lights are all gone. :). All of that for a very affordable parts and labor cost. I left, and he called me back to show me another issue he found while under my car. Before doing any work, he wanted me to see for myself instead of just making the claim and not showing. Was apprehensive to take my 2015 535i just anywhere but so thankful I found this gem. BMW dealership no longer has my business for service

Did you go to a dealership or call the dealership and get quoted for something ridiculous? Well this is the place you want to come to. Friendly and professional service with all the BMW knowledge you can think of (plaques and awards on wall for confirmation). I had white smoke coming out of my exhaust and I could hear my cylinders misfiring. Told BMW Monrovia and New Century BMW my problem and they both suggested to replace stem valve or head gasket. Either way the labor and parts would exceed 5-6 grand. I asked if they could diagnose the problem without taking the engine apart and they said they wouldn't know unless they took it apart. Granted I never went there because the wait time/queue took a long time. But you're already paying for labor and other little things there and still not getting your car fixed. That money could be put into actually getting your car fixed. A friend suggested I come here to get a quote so I gave them a call and they would give a visual inspection and diagnostic for free. Upon his visual inspection he said it wasn't the stem valve or the gasket but the crankcase valve that needed replacing because it was cracked. After spending one day at the shop and a mere fraction of the cost the dealership quoted me, my car was up and running like brand new. No smoke, no lack of power, no misfiring. They go above and beyond your expectations! I suggest you come here and see what they can do for you and trust me you will not be disappointed. read more

SGV Bimmer just took good care of my 2010 E60 N54 with several issues: 1. Low Pressure Fuel system - code 6292 & 6293 2. Damage Safety Battery Cable 3. Shredded serpentine belt The shredded belt did a number to the alternator, the main engine seal, and some of the rubber got into the engine. Let's just say that Clement put in a lot of work to get it back into working condition. While he was in there, he cleaned up the intake and replaced broken seals and a couple of less than optimum gaskets. Once he had the shredded belt situation addressed, he was able to replicate the stalling. He deduced the problem to be the faulty fuel pump control module. He also identified the potential root cause of the control module problem: a melted battery cable (SBK). I appreciate his effectiveness in diagnosing and address these issues quickly and effectively. In addition, Clement exceeded my expectation by thoroughly cleaning all the components in my engine compartment. My engine compartment has not been this clean for at least 7 years :) My engine also breaths better and revs more freely than I can recall. Thank you, Clement. I'll be back. read more

I took my son's 2003 BMW 325i to SGV Bimmer about a year ago and received great service. Recently, we took it back because it had a coolant leak. Unrelated to the previous work done. Although they were very busy, they were able to fix the cracked thermostat the same day. The following day we noticed the car was still leaking. We took it back to SGV Bimmer and it turned out that the water pump was also leaking. Instead of charging me for the repair, they fixed it without charge! I have never experienced anything like the service, quality, and customer care like SGV Bimmer. They truly care about their customers. I feel like they are my family when I go there. We also received bottled water during our wait. I trust SGV Bimmer and one year later I still recommend taking your BMW to SGV Bimmer for great service with a peace of mind that they care about their customers. Owning a BMW is expensive. A BMW owner needs to accept the fact that the most random things will break or fail, so we need to set aside a BMW rainy day fund (the larger the better). This is a fact of life. Once we have done that, we need to find a trustworthy mechanic who truly understands the joy of ownership as much as the pains of maintenance. Clement is that guy. He is competent and honest and he doesn't sweat the small stuff. He will tell you what needs to be done, and what can wait. He will fix small things like instrument cluster bulbs and small hoses if he sees it as he's repairing other things, and he won't bother asking you or charging you. It's clear he knows BMWs inside and out, especially their idiosyncrasies, and has a pride of workmanship. And when he's done with his job he will show you what part fails. I needed to get my X5 repaired in a major way, and fast because I was leaving town, and Clement delivered. He gave me a loaner car to hold me over and took care of me. He communicated well throughout the process and he's a pleasure to deal with. I hate maintaining my BMW. It's expensive and time consuming. With Clement, at least those drawbacks are minimized. I am very pleased with not only the work done on my vehicle, but with the professionalism and kindness I was shown when during my time spent at the shop. I've had experiences with the notorious BMW of Monrovia (inconsistent work for ultra-premium rates) and about two other independent BMW shops which do decent work, BUT none have been as thorough as SGV Bimmer. This past weekend my car would not start so I decided to use my ODB scan tool to determine the problem. Looked like a starter issue so I decided to call around. Unfortunately, many independent BMW shops are closed on the weekends, but luckily I found this place. I arrived literally at closing time and Clement, the Master Tech, did a quick inspection of my car and quickly pointed out the IMPROPER INSTALLATION of my battery from the previous installer (BMW of Monrovia -- photo attached).. that I spent $2k for which included a new alternator about 9 months ago.. SMH. This could've caught on fire. Anyways, Clement made the proper adjustments and assured me my car will be taken care of. Just got my car back today and it's running quite well! I highly recommend Clement with SGV Bimmer! He is an honest and reliable mechanic. I bought my son a used Bimmer from a private seller for his birthday/graduation gift from and not even a week later, the engine light came out. Needless to say, we were absolutely devastated after we realized we were sold a dysfunctional car. We went to get several estimates and they all told us it was the transmission which was going to cost us anywhere from $3500 to $8000 (rebuilt to new transmission). The hope in all this disappointment was Clement. He found out it was not the transmission but the Valve which was waay far less than other quotes. So not only did Clement diagnose the car correctly and repaired correctly, he gave us fair pricing. Oh and this a side note! I drove in with my Nissan Altima and something was hanging from under my car and he fixed it for me! He literally saved me from what could have a been a terrible accident and then he went on to look into my son's car. I would HIGHLY recommend! Read the reviews and took our 2012 MC Clubman in for a bad ABS sensor. The staff told us to come in and leave the car. About 2 hours later they found the primary issue and other issues that need to be addressed. They walked us through the work that was going to be done and have us a firm out the door price. A few hours later they called to let us know the repairs were completed and to pick up the car. The staff showed us all the work they had done. No price change and paid what we were quoted. I came in on Saturday as walk in because I notice my expansion tank had a lot of crust/build up around. I also wanted to get my timing chain done as a preventative measure. Clement and his crew were welcoming and his shop/office/work areas were nice and tidy. Clement popped my hood checked out my expansion tank and said he would be able to get it done same day no problem . I then asked about replacing my timing chain and he gave me a very good price. He told me he could finish Monday. So I have an okay to proceed. Monday comes rolling around (today) and my car is finished as promised . Now, here's the cool thing about Clement. I told him I was running late and would not be able to come til an hour after closing. He said it wasn't a problem and waited for me to show up. He wanted to make sure I had my car on Monday . I got there and Clement showed me the new parts and also a bag of the old parts that had the whole timing chain. Very very satisfied with the customer service and also the turn time .
