My wife and I use to take our Mercedes GLK and Mazda CX-5 to the dealerships for service because we did not know any better. But Will is one independent mechanic I can trust. Will has the expertise and skill to diagnose and repair our 13-year old vehicles. Older vehicle requires more attention and expertise to repair and Will is the right mechanic to handle the job. We had a trip in July to Mammoth Lakes and I had asked Will to thoroughly check out the Mazda prior to the trip. I had performance issues with the Mazda and Will was able to assess that the alternator was bad, the spark plugs were worn and the rear brakes were just about gone. I just got back from the trip and I must say the vehicle accelerated up the mountain peaks so well that I began to wonder what in the world was the dealership service doing to my vehicle all those years? Recommendation: Don't keep calling Will about when your car will be ready or keep calling him to ask how much this or that will cost. Will is very busy working on cars. He will call you when your car is completely ready and he will itemize the repairs and explain all costs in detail. Will will save you money because he gets to the root of the problem and his labor rate is considerable cheaper than any dealership. I recently had to service my VW GTI's dual clutch transmission, at first Will couldn't give me an exact quote over the phone like some comments suggested, however, he gave me a ballpark figure and I trusted my guts (as he was recommended by other GTI owners in the LA region). This is for service in 12/03/24: Amazing paint job with reasonable price! I had a car that was scratched from the front bumper and had really deep scratches. Luckily the bumper didn't need a replacement which would have been a lot more expensive. I took my ML350 Bluetec to a lot of different mechanics and he's the only one that knows what he's doing and was able to fix the problem, the real problem. Initially, I wasn't sure if I was going to keep this car or trade it in. After I brought it in, Will explained thoroughly what needed to be fixed, what needed to be replaced along the way, and a general idea of how much longer I could keep the car for.
