My 20 year old Serotta was my first "real" bike and I have thousands of miles on it and it looked like it. When I look at my current stable of road bikes I decided I wanted to reduce my carbon footprint (pun intended) and I wanted to get my steel framed Serotta back on the road. For the past ten years it was relegated to stationary trainer duty. I decided to get it re-painted and rebuilt with new components. Toby did an amazing job removing some minor dents and corrosion and repainted it in Porsche Guards Red with new Serotta decals and added a front derailleur hanger that matches the bikes perfectly. I am now pouring over components and wheel selections to finish the project. Service and quality of work was excellent and he took the time to work with me on this build. I am psyched for spring riding!

Luckily, a week before his birthday we were able to find one unassembled. I tried in vein to find a local bike shop who could assemble the bike in time for his special day. Searching Yelp I located Hot Tubes, some 30 miles away. Toby answered my call and even though they work on repairing high end bikes he was sympathetic to my situation. Bring the bike in he said and it will be ready tomorrow. Toby and Josh saved the day and my grandson will get his birthday wish at his party tomorrow.
