Cathi and Ryan were both amazingly patient and understanding, helping to keep my surprise Christmas gift for my husband a secret. They worked with me on timing for measuring the blinds and when it came time for installation, Ryan was super efficient, professional and friendly even helping us with an existing vertical blind that he had installed for previous owners that needed some adjustment. Excellent work! Our shutters were installed perfectly. They look great. We waited awhile for them to come in from the Hunter Douglas factory but it was worth it. Rich, the owner, came by and measured all our windows. His installer was meticulous and perfectly installed the shutters. Totally cleaned up everything afterward. Their pricing was very competitive. Customer service is alive and well at the Shade Gallery. I emailed for a consultation, and Rich came to our home, measured our windows, and the next day, as promised, provided a quote. Their store thas an excellent selection of the various types of products and all the different fabric choices. We wanted to protect our new furniture from Arizona's blistering sun, so we were able to get a Hunter Douglas fabric that screens out 99% of the UV, but still allows you to visualize what's outside the windows. The blinds came in on time, and Rich scheduled an appointment to install them, plus help us set up the remote so we can control them electronically. Everything was done on time, and very professionally. We are thrilled with the Hunter Douglas shades we purchased, but equally blown away with the professional assistance Rich provided. If you're in need of any sort of window coverings or valances, I would highly recommend the Shade Gallery. read more

Hopefully this review will help you determine whether to use this business. I bought Hunter Douglas shades two years ago and one of the shades will no longer retract. I called Shade Gallery and asked them to do the repair as they had in the past. The person I spoke to was very vague but finally informed me the previous owner, Richard, had sold the company. Bottom line, they no longer do repairs. They sent me to Hunter Douglas who in turn referred me to Prescott Window Coverinngs. I called them and they will gladly do the repair as well as sell me Hunter Douglas products for my bathroom remodel. My recommendation would be to NOT use Shade Gallery as they are not a full service business. Go to Prescott Window Coverings on Iron Springs and you will be happy with their friendly can-do attitude and terrific customer service. read more

Communication was lacking when blinds did not arrive as scheduled. Installers did not center one of the blinds. That particular blind, when down, allows visibility from one side of the blind into the room. Another blind, although centered, allows visibility into the room. I believe that the type of blinds and the distance to the door frames weren't taken into account when the measurements were taken for those two blinds. read more

Was driving by, saw the shop and stopped in. To my surprise, they had the materials and fabrics I loved, the price was right and time line fit with our need.
