However, this consultation took about an hour, and by 11:00 AM, our vehicle had still not been started, despite having a set appointment. We were told the job would take approximately 2-3 hours due to the windshield tint, so we left and expected a call once the work was complete. Unfortunately, we did not receive any updates throughout the day. By 4:00 PM, after finishing work, we returned to the shop only to find that our car had still not been worked on. At around 4:15 PM, it was clear the vehicle hadn't even been started, and the installers were just returning from a break. We were then told there had been an "issue" with the windshield and that it would take "about another hour." Ultimately, we didn't receive our car until around 7:00 PM -- nearly nine hours after our scheduled appointment time. While the staff remained courteous throughout, the overall experience was very disappointing. The primary concerns were the lack of communication and inaccurate time estimates. If there had been delays, we would have appreciated proactive updates rather than having to return and discover the situation ourselves. Additionally, the pricing was not particularly discounted compared to other shops, which made the experience feel even less justified. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Polar Tint. I don't have a problem with paying a lot of money to get something done correctly and done professionally the first time and not a few times. We went with Affordable Window Tinting after creating a project in Yelp and getting quotes from 10…read moredifferent companies. At first we went with Polar Tint but during the appointment we realized they gave us a quote for the lower heat rejection material so we left. When getting window tint, always ask for IR or heat rejection percentage. Affordable Window Tinting used ceramic that has 88+% heat rejection (not 3M but comparable) and for 5 windows we paid $300 which was a great price. FYI if you have a Subaru the front mini window counts as a window (we misunderstood at first and thought we could get the back windows too). We got 50% for the windshield and 35% for the front side windows. They have a heat demo you can try in-store so you can feel the difference. Installation took 3 hours (one bad thing is that the waiting area smells heavily of cigarette smoke) so we got lunch and walked around nearby (but it's not the best neighborhood). There were bubbles in the film but like the guy said, they went away in a few days when it cured. Happy with the results!

We had an amazing experience with Green Valley from the estimate for the job done by Kevin to the installation. Everyone was very professional. We were given an estimate and then we took a few days to decide which windows we wanted to do and if we wanted to do them all. It was great to not feel pressured and to be able to take our time to determine what worked best for our budget. They have a system where they send you an email and you pick the windows you want done then pay a deposit. Then they contacted us to set up an appointment for installation. Our job required removal of existing window tint and the placement of new tint. It was a full day job and the two installers were amazing! They really took their time and cared about their work. During the removal process it can get messy but these guys carefully placed cloths down to prevent any excess water from leaking from the area they were working on. This meant so much to me because we just spent a great deal of money on our flooring and I didn't want anything to ruin them. I didn't mention this to our installers and didn't need to because of the care they just naturally showed the property. They took their shoes off without being asked and cleaned up each room as they finished. I definitely recommend them for home window tinting. You will not be disappointed.

There is a deep scratch on one of my doors that wasnt there when i dropped it off, they laid tint over debris so its visible on the outside and inside, and they messed up one of my window seals. I asked to see footage of them working on my car cause i know the damage wasnt there prior to me bringing in my vehicle and the only thing the owner sent to one of his employees to send me is a video of them pulling my car in from a top angle and saying the damage was already there, when the video that was sent does no justice to where the damages were on the car. The deep scratch is on the passenger side, and in one of the photos you can see the angle of the footage is only the top and the drivers side. I recommend don't go here cause from the sounds of it already speaking to the employees, they're not taking accountability for the damages done EDIT: i thought it was one window with the tint laid over debris, but its actually 3 of my windows with tint laid over debris

This place is a preferred provider for state farm and that meant there was an extra warranty that went with the windshield and also just a very easy communication between the two. The worker on the phone was super nice and helpful and got me set up within a few days for a home visit appointment. The technician called when they were close to my property replaced and recalibrated my windshield. The whole time they communicated what they were doing and were fairly quick with it all. One thing to keep in mind, which I didn't even think about, is if you have tinted windows they do not provide tinting. So if that's something that you need, either do that as a separate part of your claim if using insurance, or find a spot that does both if on a time crunch. It doesn't take away from the fact that they were wonderful to work with though.
