However, the staff does a great job utilizing the resources they have to provide a very safe and sufficient learning environment. The staff, from the principal to the teachers to the lunch staff, are all amazing. They put the children's best interests ahead of everything else. The PTSA is very active and sponsor many fun events for the entire family. The curriculum is very sufficient and the GT program allows students to excel. My daughter only has 15 kids in her class so the attention she receives is far better than many other schools (even in our district). Upgraded to 5 stars. Almost all of the wonderful, loving teachers left, not one person (including the district manager) could actually explain the curriculum and the teachers were way overworked. Parent groups try to make families feel welcome. My biggest complaint is their program for kids with learning issues. There is an additional $4500 charge for a learning program, which is a testing center & the same study hall everyone else gets for free. There are so many kids in that class that need help, it is difficult to get assistance. There is little parent contact when there are academic issues. There are O accommodations, which we found out the day before school started. It is egregious to allow anyone in for $4500 and then leave them to sink or swim. As a private school with a "dedicated program" they have an opportunity to help kids with learning issues, but we were made to feel like a bother. They could really make a difference if they would put some additional measures in place & hire teachers that cared.

They even helped my little girl get over her fear of waring glasses. My daughter was so shy an nervous about having to were glasses to school this year an would hide them in her bag pack. She even got onother teacher to do the same thing.This helped my baby understand that she was not alone an lots of people wear glasses. My daughter proudly wares them now with no shame.
